• Help! -Acer Aspire all-in-one touch screen after upgrade Windows 8 Pro

  Hi all!

  This is a rather confusing questions and about * me off no end!  I know that some of you may have encountered this already and could have a potential solution?

  I have an Acer Aspire all-in-one, AZ5101 (Aspire Z5101), with 4 GB of RAM, etc..

  Since the Developer Preview of Windows 8 came out, I've been running Windows 8 perfectly.  I completely uninstalled (each time itself) and run the following:

  Windows 8 Developer Preview, 64-bit

  Windows 8 Preview of consumer, 64-bit

  Windows 8 Preview, 64-bit version

  In any case, on this PC worked perfectly - y INCLUSIVE of the TOUCH SCREEN.  I never had a problem.

  So far so good.  Then, they finally released updates Windows 8 Pro official licensed by download.  I bought the upgrade and downloaded.  Just like in * ALL * other cases, upgrade, I chose "keep nothing" of the old system (I never really got all the important data on here), and do the upgrade itself.

  After the upgrade was complete, and ALL Windows 8 Pro updates have been applied by Windows update, I have a system where the screen is clear and precise, everything works, and all devices in Device Manager, show the Greens well, it works fine - NO ERRORS.  HOWEVER - NO CONTACT!  No touch no screen function at all.  The screen now has this time as a standard monitor.

  I tried the driver Idéacom - no luck.  Anyone know (please? LOL) how to get the touch screen to work again?  Thank you very much!  I really appreciate any help you can give.  Microsoft technical support had NO idea and no reply emails from Acer! Laughing out loud

• Aspire 392 S7 touch screen does not work

  I recently bought a new Aspire S7 392 74508G25tws, everything works great except for the touch screen.

  I formatted my laptop already but that did not help anything. Tried to reinstall the HID drivers (not sure if it matters), but which has not given results so...

  I do not have the icon pen or touch in my systeminfo and said touch screen is not possible with this screen. But on all sites it says that this guy has a touch screen: /...

  Any ideas how can I fix? or what I need to return to the factory .

  I bought my acer aspire 472PG-V3-761R (with touch screen) a few months before. Recently, I noticed that the touchscreen wasn't all of a sudden. I have already read and tried some troubleshooting tips from the forums and on the internet, but still does not.

  I've also updated my windows windows 8 to 10 about two weeks after I bought the laptop and the touch screen worked well after the update until this week.

  Open the Device Manager

  Look for the points of Exclamation or question marks

  If you see these post back error code by right-clicking on the driver, and then select Properties

  The code appears in the box at the bottom of the general tab

  If this is not the case of the code, follow these steps

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Restart the computer and reload the Windows drivers

  Go to the manufacturer's website and search for updated drivers

  I have a new laptop which is Acer Aspire V5-471P-33214G50Mass, and I can't seem to do the touch screen works.

  

  The internet said that I should check the box with use your finger as an input device option. But as you can see from the screenshot I included, there is no option for me to do. What can you propose to solve this problem, the touch screen no matter where just gives no response or comments, it does not work.

  But im sure that the material is thin and undamaged, because on the first week, we bought it, it works very well, and there was no physical impact or a trauma that strikes my laptop.

  If you are not sure if it is a model to screen touch or not. You can check in the control panel. Press the Windows key + C to open charms, type in the Panel. Open the control panel. Select system and security and open. Select system and open. This screen should tell you if it's a touchscreen or not.   Hi, I have a HP TouchSmart 320-1030, so it can work on your touch screen:

  1. Press Windows + X logo.
  2. Select Device Manager from the list.
  3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
  4. Click the touchscreen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen).
  5. Right click and select disable from the list.
  6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

  When you want your touchscreen to work again, follow the above procedure, EXCEPT when right-clicking on the touch screen driver, select enable.

  My wife's parents bought a Toshiba Qosmio DX730 (model PQQ11A). They have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and the touch screen does not work now.

  The problem is lack of drivers (the monitor driver reports as a generic PnP monitor).

  I have went on the Toshiba site and selected downloads driver for the appropriate model and installed a number of drivers, including recommended NVidia display drivers. There is no drivers on the site that seem to install support for Toshiba touchscreen.

  Are there no drivers available for this model Windows 8? If not, is there another solution? If Yes, where can I find them. Any help very appreciated because they have nice and bought computer Windows 8 so they could use the touch functions.
