• How to choose the account used for the sharing service Google/Gmail?

  I am always connected to three separate Google/Gmail accounts at the same time. Each is used for different projects/types of communications (e.g., personal work, another project). I want to use the service of sharing, but when I click on share it does not give the option to choose which account to use. This makes the sharing service for the most useless. • New Essbase application can be registered automatically in the shared Service

  I created an Essbase application in EAS web console (URL is : http://application-tier server: port/easconsole). How can I register it at the service of the brightness. The paper said that it is should done automatically, but I can't find it in the shared service. Do you have any ideas about this? I use EMP 11.1.2.3 and the server operating system is 64-bit Win2008.   The problem is resolved after add "AuthenticationModule CSS" in the file EPM_instance\EssbaseServer\essbaseserver\bin\Essbase.cfg file.

• Change password for the DN of the user: (MSAD config) Shared Services

  We have the MSAD service account to configure shared with MSAD services. E.M.P. version 11.1.2.3

  One solution is to change the workspace-> administer-> workspace server

  settings-> "allow direct connection after the failure of the SINGLE sign-on:" = Yes

• No users in Active Directory in the Shared Services

  I have configured MSAD in Shared about, EPM 11.1.2.2 on Server 2008 R2 64-bit Windows, but no users or groups are listed.  I restarted all services of EPM and IIS.  I don't get any errors, simply nothing appear under the directory in the console of Shared Services.  How can I find out why it doesn't work?

  If you do not see users then remove the configuration of the Group probably won't do something but it does not hurt to try, if there are errors with the configuration it should be in the newspapers, are you sure that the account that you have configured the external directory with can see users, is the correct user RDN. It can be interesting to use a LDAP browser and find the same configuration to see if it recovers users, if not then you would need to discuss with someone who administers the AD.

  Another approach would be to add a new directory of the user on shared services, with the new domain.
  Administration-> directories user Configure-> configuration-> New provider
  You could name differently on behalf of existing directory and set the search order 3.

  All users of the new domain must be available as usual under the new name of the directory.

  I installed and configured assemblies of Essbase on Windows Server 2008 R2 (ESSDATA computer name).
  I checked and all the services are running. I couldn't verify deployment of Shared Services shared the Services URL.
  When I run the Diagnostic of the EPM system, I get two types of failure messages
  
  (1) at the end of each Web Application, for example for the service provider:

  Hi, you must also assign the user access to the application of Essbase, e.g. of filters. When you assign an access control, right-click on the application, not the essbase server.
  If you have several database, then you select the database that you created the filter.

• EPM 11.1.2.3 issue with rehosting of the Shared Services database

  We installed the EMP 11.1.2.3 on a distributed environment using the QA database. Now, we have restored the database to a Production database.

  In accordance with the procedure, we removed "reg.properties" of EPM_Oracle_Instance/config/foundation/11.1.2.0 and tried to start the Configurator EPM both

  (1) EPM_ORACLE_INSTANCE\bin

  (2) EPM_ORACLE_HOME\common\config\11.1.2.0.

  But, the database "set up" for Hyperion Foundation is grayed out in the two cases, and we are not able to release it to the users.

  Thanks for the suggestion. I tried forceRegistry as the last option.

  But, I realized that now reg.properties is recorded in 2 places in EMP 11.1.2.3.

  (1) EPM_Oracle_Instance/config/foundation/11.1.2.0

  (2) EPM_ORACLE_HOME/User_Projects/config/foundation/11.1.2.0

  And to rehost the SSP database, reg.properties should be deleted both sites.

  I hope that Oracle will correct their documentation. In their EMP 11.1.2.3 deployment guide options, reg.properties is not mentioned at all.

  I'm running Essbase with SSP on a laptop for training purposes.
  
  When I try to connect I get a web page, but nothing happens in addition, save a progress indicator that is never there...
  
  I use 10 IE and Firefox, or who work for me.
  
  If it is a browser problem, can I go out with something simple like the Chrome, install uninstall IE is not a simple fix.

  I could get details of the checking table HSP_AUDIT_RECORDS. But I am unable to find the user details with effective date of commissioning.
