• How can I install additional Typekit fonts in Muse design and verification, code and server?

  I'm designing a website for a client and need two policies that we have access to through our respective CC subscriptions. Fonts are only accessible by creating a typekit. I do not have a server on which to install the typekit said until the site is online. In the meantime, I want to use these fonts for audit purposes, and they are not available in the menu font. I understand that there is some HTML code to put in the header so that the appropriate fonts are used on the site online. But how do I actually work with these fonts when designing and proofing exclusion using Fund policies?

  Currently, you can only use and preview the free and open-source Typekit fonts in Muse. Adding additional Typekit fonts requires little code and a site online to preview fonts.

  If you are uncomfortable with a bit of HTML/CSS, the Muse Insider wrote a post on how to insert the Typekit include the code of the interface of Muse:

  Or you can add the embed code to the Properties dialog box of the Page within the Muse, which will include in theof the page when you export your Web site.

  However, we do see the value of being able to design in Muse with all fonts in your Typekit library. This will require greater integration between Typekit & Muse. I'll give you a big boost for the team in this way for you.

• Typekit fonts in Muse CC 20141

  It's great that we can use web fonts hosted self in Muse since the last update. It is easy to download web fonts and use them.

  I could not know how to work with Typekit fonts. How do we use these fonts (not Adobe Edge, that are available through the build menu) as well? He not seem to be possible to download the actual files of the web fonts and download them to Muse.

  Hello

  I have two CC of Muse and an account of portfolio Typkit (same e-mail and connection).

  When I try to add fonts, I click on the tab typekit says 266 font families and a green banner at the bottom: upgrade to a paid plan and access even more superb typekit fonts.

  I wouldn't have access to more than 266 families of fonts?

  I'm looking to add proxima nova.

  Hello Curry,

  Thanks for your reply.  When you select the fonts you want to using Typekit, all the fonts (or "kit") is assigned an identifier unique.  This ID is included in the Typekit include the code you will add the site of Muse.  In this example, the ID of the kit is "sjt2aiz":

  The ID kit is which associates the site account your client Typekit.  You don't need to add anything else to Muse; Typekit will indicate that kit ID and use your customer site as web fonts.

• TypeKit questions: arrested fonts rendering in IE 9 and Firefox, etc

  A few days ago, we have created an edge animation that uses a Typekit, put police in animation on a web page built with Muse and downloaded that creative cloud site.  Everything worked perfectly on IE, Firefox and Chrome (although the rendering of Chrome all fonts on this site is a little blurry compared to IE and Firefox.)

  Then, yesterday, we noticed that the fonts Typekit has not been made in Firefox; and we noticed that, today, it is renderingin IE.  (Always, displays a little blurry, on Chrome).

  Is this a known issue? Any tips?

  Also: typekit never made the Opera browser fonts (when viewing the hosted site, or when you use overview at the controls of the browser side animate or Muse).

  Also the site has never worked in Safari for Windows

  I need a font called Trajan Pro for a client's project. I have Photoshop CC and it seems that I can get this font but am unclear if it's free with my subscription or if I need to buy it.  The adobe site shows "plans", but I'm confused by them.

  (1) you can check your current subscription on your Typekit account page:

  (2) If your creative cloud subscription comes with a free plan, you will need to switch to Typekit portfolio to be able to use Trajan Pro. Visit the page of Plans, https://typekit.com/plansand click the 'upgrade' under portfolio.

  (3) once you have upgraded, you will be able to synchronize Trajan Pro to your computer and use Photoshop CC & other office programs:

• Question to Muse database assistance

  I'm working on a fitness for a client site. I am new to muse and web design in general. I coded in the past, so I don't understand how it should work... what I need is to implement a form that saves the data in a database. I really want a login to the customer to keep track of their workouts etc. Can I do this in the muse and the catalyst for the company?

  For your first question, you can achieve this using BC for the storage of contacts, giving them access to a secure area, then on the landing page of this secure area, you display a list with the points submitted by the connected client. By using the web application form to send data you are allowing the client connected to also submit new data. Muse can be used for the design of the pages and everything else.

  Adding a subdomain like "workout" once you have added 'seathfit.com' is veary easy as you can see here.

  My advice would be to create a test site where to publish the design of Muse, then work on web applications and connect on the coast of British Colombia. In addition, you should consider the upgrade of the site map to webCommerce, since Muse publishes webHosting sites and sites include access to the protected areas nor Web Apps.

  I really want to join the beta program private muse, but I just read this in the terms and conditions

  This means that if I create a site using the software I can not export it and load it on a public Web site?

  This refers to the application of the Muse herself, not the websites created with it. However: when you sign up for the beta, you also sign a confidentiality agreement. This means that you are not allowed to look at the features and changes to the Muse outside the beta community. So, if you had been part of the beta program before sensitive design had been made public and you have published a website using the beta version, it would be obvious that the delicate design has been added. This is a great example of course and not all additions are very common, but you get the idea. Another reason is that betas are alpha and beta quality, which means features may not work properly, or is sometimes fallen or changed substantially before the public release. You can publish to test sites, of course, because you sure everything works is the main reason for the preliminary program.

  I have been using Muse for over a year and all of a sudden I can't publish my site. ﷯

  Error: Could not generate the code to activate one or several web fonts on the page "index". [Error 400: font not available].

  I also have problems overview of the pages as well. I went through all the troubleshooting I can find with the support of Adobe. I am currently sorting through my site and remove all InDesign and replace system fonts but I do not succeed.

  Yes BC, but only on the plan right and not something that Muse will be able to take care of.

  You must implement securezone, sign up for access, dial-up connection, then a members to consult their accounts and what the customer wants.

  You can implement without programming, but it will not work or look nice, but possible. Once again, not through good Muse.

• Question Menu Muse

  I create a website for a company that has a portfolio section. '' Portfolio '' is referred to as a main category, with a drop of 5 sectors (education, health, etc.). There are about 3 projects by market sector (child pages). We do not want to have a preview for each sector of the market page, we just track a link to the first draft of this market sector. I created a nav sup on the first page of the project to post a link to additional pages. I don't want the nav sup visible in main menu (which is not because I "exclude navigation page".)   Looking at the idea you are trying to achieve, I suggest you go to menu manual.

  Try to create menu manual where you can manually create the Main and Sub, children and brothers and then you can link to any page you want for them.

  Do this by using the Menu native Muse can be complex.
