U2414H, grainy and flickers
Hello
I connect to my laptop to a Dell U2414H monitor through docking station and the monitor suddenly got too grainy and started to blink. I downloaded a video of him on youtube.
URL - https://youtu.be/Q9U8jI18APY
I opened a screen simple Notepad in this video.
Some further clarification
1. the problem exists with all laptops I tried to connect (these laptops used to work properly in the past)
2 the laptop screen is very well and so I don't think that this should be a graphics card problem
3. I tried to do a factory reset for the monitor - no improvement
4. I did a self test - I am able to see these grains and glitters even during the self-test. (not connected to any laptop / no cable connected to the monitor)
5. I did a diagnostic integrated - I followed the instructions in the user manual. I could see everything the user manual said I would see (red, blue, etc., filters, then the screen with the text). But all of the screens were grainy and twinkle, as mentioned in the previous steps.
6. I tried hang on to the top of the screen, with different energy sources
7. I've tried different types of input sources.
None of the above had no effect on the grainy screen.
Can you please let me know if I'm missing something, and if there is a known workaround for this problem?
Please let me know if you need any other details about me.
Thank you
Vignesh

My screen keeps turning yellow and flickering between normal screen & the yellowish one.
It is most likely a hardware problem and could be a problem with your computer or monitor. Check the connections. If it is possible to test the monitor with another computer and your computer with another monitor to circumscribe.

After properly installing iTunes on a windows 10, I'll have a transitional when flickering screen in the iTunes store. The screen flickers only when in iTunes.
Mine did this too, since my iTunes updated to the latest version. I've been running Windows 10 on my computer for about five months now and I've never had this problem before.

Hello
My graphics card has only Hdmi, DVI and VGA ports, and I just bought 2 U2414H.
As I knew that they have no VGA and DVI ports, I also bought adapters.
Anyway, I can't get it to work. The graphics card does not recognize via VGA or DVI monitors. He does it with the Hdmi interface.
Is there something that I'm not taking into account, or set up correctly?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
DVI cannot convert to monitor the RFP, so no, it won't work.

U3415W, shows that the lines and flickering
If I plug a DP cable on the screen, it shows nothing and goes into 'emod to save energy'. I have to restart my pc in "safe mode" to see the screen again.
To remedy this, I tried CDM and this just made the screen start flickering and showing the lines upward, so I googled and someone in this forum said that if I disable the 1.2 DP (which is default) things would go smoothly.
Ive tried with just the cable of CDM at the U3415W. Did not work.
Ive tried with the CDM cable to the U3415W and the DP cables my U2713W and then I just get the U2713W to work.Ive attached a picture with 2 screens side by side, so you can see what I mean.
What is my graphics card which cannot handle this?
Ive attached my information from dxdiag on my display information.Help, please.

I created an invitation using format 5 x 7. I downloaded a few images from the web and a picture of my son on the invitation. I sent the file to Shutterfly for prints, but I chose to print them in 4 x 6. When I return invitations/pictures the pictures seemed a bit blury and grainy. I don't know what I did wrong. The image on the computer didn't look so bad. Help, please. I can fix the invitations without starting all over. I'm running out of time to have these envoys to all my clients.
Thank you
To change the pixels per inch go to Image > resize > Image size, make sure that resampling is OFF and enter the number you want. If you create an empty file, the resolution of the lower layer (the one that you choose when you create the file) determines the resolution of all of the layers.

Satellite L300 - screen wakes up and flickers
L300 screen fell asleep one day and doesn't wake up. Close the lid and then pop it open it again the shortcuts of the light for about half a second then flicks off again.
Now, I have a secondary monitor attached and programmed to use as primary. Everything else seems fine. Except the laptop screen does not stay on. If I turn off laptop screen, then tell him to use, it's moving on for a half second, then distributed.
Thus, the light does not work it just will not stay.
When I first tried to remove the batteries and unplug everything, I came back. For 15 minutes, then he began to blink, then I lost it. Return to burst the quick cover buddies then using speculation and manipulation to navigate.
Now, just pop on a light then went to start.
(a) why it started flashing before she vanished to?
(b) why it turns off as soon as it opens now when it can of course work
(c) I bought another card of flv in case it has not been fed up there (did not work)This has started to happen just after I bought and installed a public service program, I found was to nibble nay chomping vigorously registry entries. So I don't know if it is a file which is is saying that don't turn off that is corrupt, software or hardware.
Any ideas?
Hello
> I have a secondary monitor attached and programmed to use as primary. Everything else seems fine
This would mean that the graphics card is ok and the problem is just the internal display. In your case I would contact an authorized service provider because guys can make an accurate diagnosis and replacement of defective material. You can find a list of them here:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > find an authorized service providerDon t get me wrong but here it s just a user forum of users and this virtual path it s not possible to solve any problems with the equipment or replace it. You need professional help.

the computer is a pavilion dv7
So we know that this is the connector on the motherboard back to the screen. It could be the cable has been pinched or crushed, but moving the screen back and fourth usually changes the display if it is the problem (the exception is if a thread has completed severed). The inverter blackens usually just the screen when it fails. This leaves us with the screen is probably bad. Try laptopscreens.com. They have videos on how to replace the screens and I believe they offer a service installation. If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP customer care and try to get a replacement or repair order.

Windows 8 black screen after Login or the wake from sleep / hibernate and flickering screen
Hello
I have something of a nightmare with my desktop computer running Windows 8 x 64.
I did a bit of cleaning, unplug all cables, etc. and then reconnected everything later.
Since then, I've known the following questions: -.
After starting and going through the connection, I am faced with a black screen. The monitor turns on, but there is no pointer. However, if I clicked at random, it would open a Windows App out of the splash screen, which would then become visible. If I moved the mouse to the bottom left, to get the splash screen, he would immediately go black screen on me. He seemed to be refusing to display the splash screen.
With "display" black screen, I found I could get the Task Manager (Ctrl, Alt, Del) upward and there could access the desktop. It would then execute as usual, but if I let it go into hibernation or even just having the power of the screen down, it would be black screen again, and I have to use the 'trick' Task Manager to retrieve the desktop computer.
Sometimes, using the Manager tasks does not always, because he'll sweep between the black screen and the desktop, alternating every 5-6 seconds. I found through the process from the Task Manager, it stops doing this.
Now, I did a Windows 8 regenerate, without any change in the problems. I made sure the AMD drivers have been completely updated (they were) and also physically checked all cables and cables are properly connected and the GPU / RAM etc are properly placed.
There is no error message displayed at any time. I have also disabled Fast Boot, nothing helps.
I examined a faulty monitor, but it worked fine for an hour or two at a time, until I got let go sleep or put into hibernation, and I'm at square one. It would of course be a faulty GPU, or even a PSU failure, but I'm not convinced the symptoms are pointing to them.
For me, the fact it does not display the Windows 8 start screen after that Login or Wake Up is important. It makes me think that Windows may interfere with the display in some way?
I can, if necessary, provide DXDIAG etc, and I "m hoping someone will have an idea of what goes wrong. I have spent ages going through Google and others, but cannot find a solution to my problem.
Thanks for any help or suggestion you may have.
Conrad.
It solved! Traded my monitor cable and all problems solved. Guess he had a break or something in one of the lines.
Thanks anyway. -

Re: Satellite P300-156 - grainy display and vertical lines on it
Hello
whenever I have 1st start of the machine, the screen looks grainy and with 1 green line vertically down the right side of the LCD screen.
When Vista is finished startup (with my white screen), there are a lot of pink coluring on the icon, when I press "start" and it displays programs, etc., the abckground is all pink! Also the web cam settings/opener popup displays the same.
To get rid off this, I restarted the machine and everything if fine. It is the only way to rectify.
Last week, I tried again to look into the problem...
I changed the LCD, drive hard (updated to 320 GB) and updated the BIOS with the latest version of this site. Now it wil has always do the same thing, but after 30 seconds (or almost) it is automatically sorts.
I really think this sort want someone at - it ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Maybe the BIOS update solved the problem. ;)
Anyway watch carefully what happens in the future. -
