U3014 monitor hangs, not responding

Hello

I bought this camera last week and since I noticed that sometimes the monitor becomes unresponsive (several times a week, sometimes several times a day). Here is what I noticed:

-Computer saving energy and monitors goes, but this monitor feeds not off but instead goes to the white screen (the other display off fine)
-After the previous monitor does not display an image after getting out of the power save; again, made another display
-Sometimes the screen turns off, but does not illuminate

Common to these events, it's that the menu button (or the other buttons) do not work. The only way to get a reaction is the power button, and even in this case it does not sometimes. However, I noticed that now the button for a few seconds the stop screen always makes. After power cycling the display always comes back fine.

Sometimes the symbol corresponding to the DVI cable (dual-link DVI-I use for 2560 x 1600 60 Hz) appears to the left upper corner of the screen and stays there. This is similar to the other crashes.

I used to have a HP ZR24W and a Dell 2412 M connected to the PC with GTS450 (Linux) without any problems earlier. U3014 replaced the HP.

Any suggestions?

Finally, the problem has been resolved by replacing the unit with a new one.

I recently bought a hp desktop computer and installed a Sapphire double-X 270 of R9. After installation, I noticed six long beeps BIOS at startup. I have this attached to caused by the UEFI who need Legacy mode. The real problem here is that I can't get to the BIOS, my keyboard and the monitor do not respond until it starts with windows sign in screen. Until then the monitor is in standby. The same thing happens if I boot from the BIOS through windows. I have 10 windows to be clear. Here is the pc http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/848252/HP-Envy-Desktop-Computer-With-6th/

Remove the new graphics card and the original graphics on Board allows to boot in the BIOS/UEFI. Change your Legacy for UEFI, install your new graphics card and you should now have access to the BIOS/UEFI during the amorçage using the new graphics card.

Don't know if your original post on six beeps at startup meant that you had already tried to start with the new card in UEFI mode but that he was still unable to see anything pre-seed?

    Thank you.

I've seen LV is slow on older hardware when you use clusters embedded in a tab control. But it's on the front panel.

It could also be a valuable default data set (new FP). What is the size of your vi (on disk).

Still one thing to watch is the arrow of the execution, if it is broken during the shot, it's because of a recompilation. In this case the massive compilation could make some improvements.

Also to monitor the CPU usage and memory consumtion with Manager task (or similar tools if not on win).

You have old HW or OS? You can share a sample vi which is so slow? Clues about bad coding (overlay, nested structures) that might cause the subsequent redefinition of the window?

  • InstallShield hangs (not responding) on Win7 64 bit

So I looked all over the entire internet (almost seriously) try to find an answer to the problem I'm having, but no luck.  I've seen several posts like him, but none of the solutions have worked for me.  Here are the details:

    Windows 7 SP1 64 - bit OS.
Different programs that I try to install using Installshield hang during the "Preparing to install..." progress bar (not answer) indefinitely, never to return.
Manager tasks indicates multiple instances of ISBEW64. EXE, being generated by the CPU 0.
I know that's not the installer because I previously installed without problem.
Strangely, the directx Setup program crashes as well (Yes, I know that I don't need to install directx, but some programs has complained about this and hanging installation... anyway)
The last entry in the event viewer looks like this:
    1035 MsiInstaller event ID
Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product name: name of the product XYZ. Product version: 11.0. Product language: 1033. Manufacturer: Manufacturer XYZ. Status of success or reconfiguration error: 0.
Searching the Internet, I saw these solutions--unfortunately, they don't work.
    Run as administrator
    Turn off DEP
Run msiexec /Unregister and then msiexec /register
Start different services (workstation, Terminal Services, Windows Update Client distributed link, Distributed Transaction Coordinator...)
Remove external hard drives (except that I don't have)
Kill the ISBEW64 process (making just respawn)
    Help!
If I rebuild the system, I know it will work, but yes, this isn't really the solution, I hope.
Anyone has any experience with what has worked?  I'll buy you a beer... or... a soda.

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

    Method 1:

I suggest you to set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check to see if the same problem happens.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click on start to reduce this includes this image, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.

    (b) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (c) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.

    Method 2:

Try to scan your computer for the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

    Method 3:

If the problem persists, then try to create a new user account and check. Follow the steps mentioned in the article given below to create a new user account.

    Create a user account.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/create-a-user-account

If it works fine in the new user account, you can access the link and follow the steps for the corrupt profile Fix:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile

    Hope this information is useful.

  • WUSB54GC - WLAN monitor does not not on Windows 2000 SP4 computer laptop

I have a WUSB54GC v3 and I tried to install the drivers and the WIFI monitor on a Gateway Solo 5300 laptop running Windows 2000 SP4.  When I put the disc, the installation automatically started, but stopped after a few seconds with a pop message saying, "this version of windows is not supported" (or something similar to that).  I read in this forum and learned how to manually install the driver from the disk I did.  I checked the device using troubleshooting in Device Manager and shows the driver to be installed correctly and the device works correctly.

My big problem is that the monitor WLAN (the little green square in the bottom right of the screen) will not illuminate.  There are no available wireless networks and the monitor does not respond to the "Refresh" or anything else.  It seems to be "dead".  How can I get the monitor to work?

    Thank you!

    Mike

WUSB54GC is not compatible with Window2000... So either you can upgrade your operating system to Windows XP, or you can go for different cards as WUSB54G.

Turn on PC and monitor is not responding. Turn on the monitor and a message on the screen says "No Signal", then turns off. Also 'Num Lock' key will not turn the Verr Num keyboard light.

Try reinstalling your RAM. Pull your memory sticks out and put them back in firmly. Be sure to touch the chassis of your system before you pull it from your memory, in order to discharge static electricity from your part.

I'm trying to back up my files on an "External" hard drive It's me E: drive as the location, but it just hangs up there says "not responding". I tried to do an "Archive" in the "My Documents" folder, I saw files transfer, however all my names of my files are now blue in 'My documents' whatever that means? External drive (E :) will not name until you give him one.  It is possible that the disk has not been formatted yet.

Open disk management (start > run > diskmgmt.msc > OK).

What antivirus you have installed before? Is the virus/malware-free system? If you have a current antivirus installed and you went through at least some of the malware removal steps I list in the link I have given if you are sure that the system is clean, uninstall McAfee and see if that solves your problem. If you connect to the Internet behind a router, you can be sure for this quick test. If you are connected directly to a cable/dsl modem, then firstly download Avast or even Microsoft Security Essentials (both free). Then, disconnect from the Internet and uninstall McAfee. Install the antivirus of your choice and test. If all goes well, your problems have been caused by McAfee. This is not surprising since McAfee is perhaps the worst choice for safety, we could do.

If you had any antivirus installed before McAfee, then you must go through all stages of thorough removal of malware listed in the my link before anything else. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Flash slows down FF hangs with message "not responding".

Shockwave flash is causing crashes giving the message 'firefox is not responding' and slows down my internet experience. I know it's the add-on flash because when I disable it, firefox works much better. I tried all the suggestions concerning problems of flash on this site and nothing worked. I am running win 7 64 bit (Home premium). In addition, Firefox 36.0.1. All the drivers seem to be aware, but I'll check.

My question is... is it possible to easily disable/enable flash without going into the Add-ons Manager? According to what I'm doing, I'm in crashes and Add-ons for him Manager allow either when I need it or disable it when firefox is slow.

I've gotten to the point where I just open add-on Manager in a tab and the leave it open because I know I'll probably be in there turn flash on or off depending on the way in which its make my machine.

Also, I tried flash running in mode 'request to activate', but you must reload the page so that it can find the add-on.

This problem has been ongoing for a few months now; Performance of Firefox was so much better, but this problem does not appear to be resolved. I love firefox, I really want to go to a different browser.

    Thank you
    Duke

    Please ignore the above answer!

One of the reasons frequent slow script errors are the feature of mode of the Flash player plugin. The Protected Mode feature has safety benefits, but there seem to be some compatibility issues on some systems. You can turn it off by creating or modifying a parameter file. The following/post pages which provide different approaches:

To download the Flash completely (closing and restarting Firefox could help) until it takes effect.

    Any improvement?

  • After an update, I get error "not responding." and then began to hang at startup; uninstalled and reinstalled still hangs at startup

After you apply a systematic update on Windows XP, I started having "not responding" to stop and had to cancel the task through the Task Manager. The error "not responding" moved to the selection of items on a screen and had to cancel via the Task Manager. I applied the updates and that did not fix the problem. The last update was 34.0.5 and FireFox would not start up. I noticed several people also had this same problem with Windows 7 (although my Windows 7 works ok - touch wood).

34.0.5 upward in safe mode but would not come otherwise. I did a Reset and FireFox started with Extensions disabled. The first expansion, I have activated was Norton 2014 Toolbar and FireFox did not come to the top. After application of all available newly INDEPENDENT States fixed, FireFox came upward with the NIS active 2014 and seems to operate normally in the present tense.

Some added addons toolbar and anti-virus are known to cause
Firefox issues. Disable all of them.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
    While you are in safe mode;

Type of topic: preferences #advanced< enter > in the address bar.

    Under Advanced, select General.
Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

Search web sites secure. Are there problems?

    Then restart.

  • When Firefox starts (24) he hangs for 10 seconds (not responding) before responding... just started to do this.

When starting FF program (shows not responding is not in the title) stall for 10 seconds, then continues.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

  • Problem starting el capitan (sierra) - built-in keyboard and the mouse do not respond

    Hello

I have a 2015 macbook pro (SSD 256, 16 GB of RAM last el capitan updated) with a wired problem.

I use it mainly to a cinema monitor and I use wireless keyboard and mouse (office installation program), and of course as a stand-alone laptop when I'm not at my desk.

When I put the laptop to sleep, everything works fine when I wake up.

but, if I'm away from the office and I have to restart my laptop, here is the problem.

The boot process is very very slow, there is no edge, and when I finally have the screen to unlock the safe, the keyboard and the touchpad do not react. Actually, that's not exactly true, they are so slow that they are unusable and get caught quickly, all gel. So I can't unlock and complete the boot. My laptop is unusable ;-(

At this point, I get a message that if I forgot my password I just need to reboot by pressing the power button, and I'll be able to reset it.

When I do this and aprΦs the dΘmarrage that more slowly than usual but ok, I get another screen with several options of problem solving. One of them is "keyboard not responding do not. When choosing this one, it asks if you want to remove safe. I tried and everything was back to normal.

later, I delivered safe and I had the same problem again. I did the thing to be able to restart again and improved to sierra in the hope that it would disappear. However, the problem is still there.

I thought I could try to restart my office to see if my keyboard and wireless mouse would still work. Indeed, even if responsiveness was not normal, I could unlock and fill the chest.

I have the impression that my laptop always "believe" it is on my desk, linked to my screen (probably the reason why I don't hear the Bell) and to my wireless K & M.

It's really annoying and I hope someone has a solution.

    Thank you very much

    best,

    Alex

I'm having a similar problem with macOS Sierra which I didn't have with El Capitan.  I can possibly move the cursor on the power button and turn off (no), but I must be patient because the keyboard and trackpad are only for a fraction of a second, which only allows me to move the mouse slightly.  After he stop and start back up, everything is perfect until I tried another reboot, and then I'm back to the beginning.

I tried to reinstall the operating system, reset the SMC, resetting the NVRAM, reboot in SafeMode... nothing worked so far.
