UDATE drivers pavilion g7 2340dx

When I hp.com support scan my pavilion g7 2340dx updates the driver he says "HP could not verify that you have this product, but found other products."  What do they mean that I am sitting here use it?  How to cross such a stupid statement?

I found a diagnosis.  I don't like admitt it, but now I don't know if it was a Windows or an HP diagnostic (Itried everything I could find) it seems to have corrected the problem.
