Unable to accept the terms of use, which is needed to manage the security of the family

I have a new laptop with Windows 8, which I created two users - one for me and one for a child (Standard user - and Coachman on behalf of child) (Administrator). I created a real account for the child and filled out all the necessary information - my live account has been used for a few years, but I update personal information.

When I try to manage parental controls from the Control Panel, I get an error message indicating that I should go to account.live.com to agree to terms of use. I can't find any place to accept the terms of use, or my account og the child account. I looked for a solution and found that many have had similar problems. One of the solutions that seeems to help was to connect to fss.live.com, but this page just redirects to a generic MS information page of security for the family.

Any suggestions?

I managed to find a solution, not an elegant solution, but it will keep your real account (parent1) to monitor your kids.

1. create a new live account (parent2)
2. create a new account admin on the PC using the new live account (parent2)
3. connect to the computer with the admin account and create an account for child
(using either an og existing live new account - don't forget to check the child...)
4. you should now be able to manage via the parental control panel
5. Add a new parent in parental control (your old existing live account - parent1)
Some steps are probably not necessary, but I managed to get the "accept the terms of use" hampers by following these steps.

I have Adobe Story more, and I tried to share a project with the free users and paid users. They both receive the invitation, but no one is able to accept the invitation and all they get is the error message. I've tried and failed with both free users and a paying user. I created a new project for this purpose. I tried all the roles (co-author, reviewer, reader, writer).

    Sorry as you face this problem. It is in fact partly fixed (doesn't happen for new accounts). A few old scores could still fall on this issue for which we currently manually update account data.

    I got family safety works very well before a reinstall of Windows 7 Professional.  After I install windows essentials, I connect to my microsoft account, now I'm trying to set up the filter, monitored accounts are already checked, the only option is to save.

    When I click Save I get this

    The system cannot find the specified file 80070002 error code.

    I've tried everything.  Uninstall, reinstall Windows Essentials 2012.  First of all, I did a partial install with just the film and the family.  Uninstalled.  Re-installed full.  Always the same question.  I even tried to install Windows Essentials 2011.  No change.

    My iPhone IS / 10.0.2 IOS does not allow me to accept to iCloud and conditions: therefore, not able to connect to the Apple ID server and cannot connect to Wi - Fi. I have already change network settings - did not help. Erase all content and settings & restored - did not help. Do not connect to a Wi - Fi network didn't happen until I applied IOS 10.02. iCloud question began the week last while on IOS 9.35 - thinking update IOS would be the solution - NOT.

    In the end, I was able to install the software by launching the Installer without rights administrative (simply by double clicking on Set - up.exe instead of a right-click and run as administrator).

    It's a little weird because it is generally recommended to launch installers with administrative rights (at least if you are using a Windows operating system).

    Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for the query display. Looks like you are not able to modify the parental control on a standard account.

    Try these steps and check:

    Method 1:

    Disable UAC (User Account Control) and check the result.

    Note: You must restart your computer when you enable or disable UAC. Change levels of notification does not require that you restart your computer.

    I suggest to create a new administrator account and log later in the new administrator account, try to set parental controls and check if it works.

    I suggest that you can exercise SFC scan and check if TI the problem persists. To do this, please see the following article.

    I've updated BB app world to the latest version, a few days earlier, saved a BB I would and I tried to install an application.
    App world asks me to accept t & c, what I do, and then nothing happensj dialog box closes and I see the re-download button. I can repeat this forever.

    After you install the Windows Live Essentials on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit operating system, I tried to access the Parental control feature.  I was unable to access this feature and said to connect with my Windows Live ID to accept the terms of use.  Once connected, there is no option to accept the terms of use, on the terms of use page.
