Unable to connect to a particular Web site

When I try to connect to www.heide-express.de the browser says what the server unresponsive. I don't think that it's a server problem, but a problem of browser setting, and I don't know what to change?

Help, please!

Hi again LegOff,

Thanks for the quick response!

Since more than one computer is affected by this issue, it seems that it could be related to the router. Moreover, it would also be a problem with the access provider.

After some more research on this subject, I recommend you to ping the IP address of the Web site you mentioned in the post above: 144.76.56.227. Ping this address, please follow the steps below:

Step 1. Click the Start button
Step 2. In the search box, type "Command Prompt"

Step 3. Click on command prompt

Step 4. Type 'ping 144.76.56.227' and press ENTER.

This should help to determine if your laptop is able to communicate properly with the Web site. If you are not able to recover all the answers for the Ping, it's probably a problem with the router or the access provider. If you are able to recover all the answers successfully, it is most likely a problem with the router firewall.

To get help with your Internet service or your router, contact your service provider.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

  • Unable to connect to a particular Web site, message: Firefox can't find the server. What to do

I'm putting it on my new website www.mahoganyridgetobago.com
I get the same message that Firefox can't find the server.

    Hi mahoganyridge.
I am able to view your site perfectly using Firefox 10. I hope that this error has resolved for you. If this isn't the case, I would like to ask if you are able to view other sites - or if it's the only one with a problem?

  • I'm unable to connect to a specific web site. Have you tried 3 different browsers and they all say that they are unable to connect. No one else has a problem connecting to the page.

I tried to use www.findagrave.com for 2 days.  I tried 3 different browsers.  all say that they are unable to connect.  No one else has a problem on this page.  I have no problem to do something else.  Why, throughout this site I can not connect with?   I use it all the time in research.  very aggravating.

original title: on a web page

Well, I tried the support page, but I already tried all that.  I did a restore full back to factory settings... still cannot have only one page to load.  I'll call my dsl provider this afternoon.  I don't know what else to do.  I can't communicate with Findagrave.  I don't have a snail mail address but no phone number.  But I don't think that it would be them anyway, if no one else has a problem with this web site.  There must be on my end, don't you think?

I don't know what to tell you. There is no problem, it's on your side.

If you care to try it... on the assumption that your user account is damaged.
Create a different user account with exactly the same type of account > connect to it and see if you can access this Web site.

Personally, I doubt that will solve anything, since you already restored your computer to factory settings.

  • Unable to connect to a specific web site

Although I'm not a novice when it comes to internet issues, I met a problem only and myself cannot explain... I'd be VERY grateful if someone in the community might be able to get an idea of troubleshooting.

A week ago, I noticed that on my home network (2 XP Pro, 1 Vista Home Premium and Vista 64 via WiFi, Linksys Router 1 laptop), I was able to access a favorite web site (u2torrents) via a wired hard XP systems, others would not connect.  I tried to use the numerical IP address, but it connected extraordinarily slowly and incompletely loaded pages.  I ping the site and got no response.

I have connected one of the XP Pro that was blocked by the router, directly to the cable modem, and it IS connected.

So, I thought that you need some sort of router problem.

Linksys has worked with me for three hours, and they couldn't identify a problem.  Of course, we went through the usual steps of router cold restarts, restore the default settings.

Any running Zone Alarm internet from my PC, but even more by turning off without effect.

I took my laptop to another WiFi network, and it worked fine... so, probably to prove the issue had nothing to do with the OS corruption.

All of a sudden, everything worked for two or three days.  I did however replace my router... four year old and all worked for two days... and now the same problem has recurred.

I have confirmed with u2torrents.com (by pingdom) that at least through this mode of audit, the site itself has no problem.

I am usually able to access u2torrents.com via my PC at my workplace, now, today I can't connect from there either.  However, at the Hospital where I work, u2torrents.com is accessible without problem.

So, I don't know where to go with this... I can't identify a problem with my home PC, the router, or by the owner of the u2torrents.com site, the site itself... the only is different home computer that DOES connect to the House has DNS settings which allows him to assign a static ip address on my home network, but can't imagine what a difference that would make...

And now with two completely separate ISP of the no connection to the u2torrents.com site, I'm really lost.

So, if anyone has an idea about that, I will be eternally grateful!

    Thanks in advance, Peter

    Thanks for the thoughts!

I found a solution... it is the affected DNS server... when I inserted the ip to opendns settings, everything worked like a charm.  So, I guess that somehow the site I was previously access to was somehow fell off the screen radar of the DNS server by using my ISP was.

Seems that it is a rare question... but to the credit of my ISP, when I called them, one of the suggestions is to insert the Google's DNS ip address, and that probably would have worked too.

Hope if someone else has this problem in the future, they may find this link and save several hours of aggravation... not to mention buying a new router that I probably didn't seriously need again!

Once again, thank you to those who have read my request and tried to help him.

  • I entered a wrong username and now it happens every time I try to connect to a particular Web site? How can I delete a message from automatic request for username?

Is it possible to delete or change the user name information? The site with that I have a problem does not appear in my saved list of bookmarks even if it is bookmarked on my computer. It's a site that does not have a registered password. When I start typing my username two names immediately pop up. I want to remove the incorrect one. Thank you.

  • Hi, for some reason, I am unable to connect to that specific Web site. Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance.

84.200.47.125/forums. I know this is because I can connect to my mobile phone. This IP address is on Call of Duty 4 PC and I can not connect to it and also TeamSpeak. Are there solutions to solve this problem? Thank you.

Your security antivirus, firewall or Internet settings it blocks on your PC?

  • cannot log on to a particular Web site by using the Satellite L series

I can't connect to a particular Web site all of a sudden with my computer Toshiba satellite phone. I was able to before, but now I can't?

Check the settings of the antivirus and firewall. In many cases, these security tools prevents log in to different pages.
In addition, you should check your settings of browser like filtering settings etc.
Try different internet browsers like firefox or IE.

Sorry, but that's all I can suggest at the moment

  • I can't connect to a specific Web site

My PC is running w7 Pro x 64 and IE9.  I'm unable to connect to a specific Web site for which I have a valid user id (my email address) and password (for me at the time to register for the Web site). When I try to login, I get a message saying the user name or password is incorrect, a second try results in a message that says that either my username and my password is not recognized - it displays also exactly what I typed so I can see my errors. The user name is correct, but the password it displys is not what I came - he says it is so kxEXkaTT that I had entered the correct password kxEXk1T0, the owner of the site says that they have logged on successfully with my user name and password without any problem at all. I tried to connect from my wife PC and PC friends and have had a complete success. All my different passwords with most of the websites that I use have different similar cases and alpha characters and digital and none of them asked me no problem

Other facts are that I was a regular user of this Web site for 3 years without problem until all the time, I upgraded from IE8 to IE9. The site says that they have thousands of registered members, as I am and have not experienced the problem that I have. I also have my PC protected by major software anti virus check and online protection against viruses and malware. and to my knowledge I don't have a virus problem more than 12 years of using a PC. I always check my incoming emails to the ISP server level and delete everything I do not feel safe on before I have to download the rest on my PC. I also only access sites deemed most is serious busdiness, media, and Government don't respect - no games, etc.

I suspect that I have a few curruption of memory possible in the bowels of IE9, but am worried that I won't lose all my existing data, updates and the settings (as Favorites) if I remove and reinstall from the original CD IE9

Any thoughts on what I should do would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Arthur

    Original title: frustrated Surfer

Scroll often does not and most of the time 'egg timer' turning, so slow sometimes websites Time out until I'm done. PLEASE HELP, or it's time for the big trash can in the sky? Lap top is more than 10 years old now.

    Hey,.

It would help if you could answer these questions in order to solve the problem.

-What version of Windows you are using on the laptop?

-When exactly you get the error "Exec of OCX file not found '? It is when you start the computer or by accessing any program?

-How did the laptop connected to the router? Is it wireless or wired?

-What anti-virus software is installed on the computer? You have scanned the computer?

-Remember to make changes on the computer? Updates/programs installed?

Try these steps and let us know if they help.

    a. for the error message "exec OCX file not found", put the computer in start state in minimum mode and know what software is causing this error message.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/331796

Note: Once done troubleshooting, put the computer to normal mode according to the steps in "how to regain a normal Windows startup mode.

    b. increase the size of the virtual memory according to the steps in http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/change-the-size-of-virtual-memory . Restart the computer so that the changes are applied.

Note: the steps apply to Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/sysdm_advancd_perform_change_vmpagefile.mspx?mfr=true (Windows XP)

  • Scroll only works in particular Web site with MS 5000 wireless comfort Office

I bought MS Office Wireless comfort 5000 and the scroll wheel works very well in many programs but when I visit my bank online the scroll wheel only works scroll down. No matter which way I scrolling only scrolls. I have to use the side scroll bar sites and mouse pointer to get the page up again. Called the rep and she said try a different mouse. So I tried a logitech wireless I had before sunset the office and it works fine on my site of banks. Why this office defines only scroll the mouse down on a particular Web site? No idea before I return it a purchase a logitech set?

I also work with specific programs box filled and downloaded the latest driver just today.

The site is not running in any browser is a stand alone I think javascript type of site, but what intrigues me is the logitech mouse works fine in the site and not by the MS 5000 mouse.

    Hello MS moderators.

This issue clarified itself with the two latest updates for Vista and I'm happy to announce that the mouse now works correctly. In the excitement, I forgot to mention that when I got to the office as a whole, the mouse was working ok, it scrolls up and down like a champion. Something needs to happen with a Vista update just before the question because I think remember me that he updated and then I noticed the problem. I'll keep the office install now and make sure that when I noticed something like this again after an update using see and system restore if that works. I tried everything that was suggested but saw only one so that it appears as a simple solution, right?

    Help, please

    Hello

We do not work for Microsoft.

    We are mainly volunteers here.

I'm sorry, but this section of Microsoft, the Microsoft community, is dedicated to answering questions of posters on the hardware and software problems with their computers, computer hardware, etc.

This is all the information that we have.

  • Unable to connect to the VMware web service: invalid key file

    Hello

We have a CPO 2.3.1 who refuses to connect to vCenter (see newspaper excerpt at the end of the post).

Recently, we changed our server vCenter (part of a 5.1 update).

    We tried the following workarounds:

    • Remove and add all the elements of the platform from the portal using services SE
    • Re import automation packs (4 of the Starter Edition v2.3.1.38)
    • Re on the keystore password

    No change at all...

Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Stone

You have an invalid key file because the HTTPS certification has changed. You must remove the old keystore file and restart the OPC Server and then reconnect / run something against vCenter.

It is also possible to host Adatper framework/java problems I've seen often.

If you need more information, you will need to prosecute TAC with your service contract please. Normally, we try to solve no newspapers on the forums.
