Unable to connect to the SQLite database in 9700

Hi all, I have created a dt application dynamically retrieves data from a database stored locally Sqlite the strange thing is that this application works correctly on my 9800 and a friend 9930 but every time that the use of this app on 9700, it is impossible to connect to the database. Here is the code that I use to connect to the database (same code has been compiled and tested on all 3 devices):

Connect to the database
try {}
Var myURI = URI.create("/store/home/user/documents/database.db");
DB = DatabaseFactory.openOrCreate (myURI);
} Catch (Exception e) {}
If (db == null) {}
Dialog.Alert ("unable to Access database');
}

Is there something on the 9700 device that I don't know? Because this code works on other devices... Help please.

Finally, I discovered that it does not give the error if the database is stored on an SD card maybe 9700 does not support access sqlite on the memory of the device. Thanks for trying

    So I renamed the file to original and rebooted repeat services applies - this restore the data file and now the configuration state of the DG is normal.

    Not quite sure if I'm still he hands the right way or if the error above is related to RMAN not able to synchronize with the physics of the day before.

  • Unable to connect to the local database (without using the tnsname)

    Hi guys
    I have 2 database running on the local computer.

    Db1 SID - orcl (install 1)
    DB2 SID - unicode (later installation)

    Today I stop the basic unicode and stop its respective services.

    on the back
    I did a sqlplus scott/tiger, I got an error
    ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

    That's why
    I did a
    Set ORACLE_SID = orcl

    and I still get the same error.
    -------------------------------------------------

    So I'm the other way around. I orcl database stop, stop its services and database unicode to START and its services.

    I disassembled the ORACLE_SID environment variable.

    Now, I have in the command prompt
    sqlplus scott/tiger

    I am connected to the unicode database!
    -------------------------------------------------

    Now I ORCL stop unicode data and start...

    and I have a
    sqlplus scott/tiger@ORCL...

    I HAVE no problem to connect to it...
    --------------------------------------------------

    May I ask why should I provide the TNSname ORCL database and I do not for the UNICODE of the databases...
    Both are local on my database.

    What's wrong?

    Moreover, I am on XP.
    Thank you!

    Set ORACLE_SID = orcl
    sqlplus / as sysdba;
    sys@ORCL > exit

    Set ORACLE_SID = unicode
    sqlplus / as sysdba;
    sys@Unicode > exit

    Well, we know that both your DBs are working properly.

    So out of curiosity, I did cela tests...
    (1) connect the two database and stop
    (2) stop their services
    (3) start only ORCL service
    (4) close and reopen the command prompt to delete the var of environment ORACLE_SID

    sqlplus / as sysdba;
    Error: ORA-12560: TNS: Protocol adapter error

    (5) now I stop service ORCL
    (6) (and I start the service of UNICODE)

    then I deliver

    sqlplus / as sysdba;
    sys@Unicode >

    It seems quite normal. In your registry value ORACLE_SID is, most likely, unicode, the last created: check it out, and if so, you can connect to unicode DB without setting ORACLE_SID, while you will need to set to connect to DB orcl.

    When you have more than one DB, you set the ORACLE_SID environment variable before connecting either you use connection strings.

    In 10g, listener can dynamically register a database. In your server listener.ora file you did manually. A particular reason for that?
    What is the result of lsnrctl status on the server where this testdb? You see service testdb in the summary?

    What don't you understand?  You can not connect Dreamweaver to CPanel.  He does not like it for security reasons.

    You need a local test server and the database that DW can connect locally.

    When you have finished the construction & test your website locally, use phpMyAdmin to export your local SQL file.

    Then go to phpMyAdmin of your remote server and import your SQL file into the database of your server.

  • Unable to connect to the local database - ORA-12154

    Hello

    I'm having a problem with an Instance Oracle 10.2.0.3 on AIX 5.3.

    Under Root and Oracle, I can connect to the instance by using only "sqlplus user/password', but it does not work under another ID.

    It causes me problems as one of our suppliers has provided a large number of upgrade scripts to be run as a specific user, but fail to establish a database connection.

    Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem? I put my SID and Oracle Home properly, running oraenv, but it does not work.

    Thank you

  • Need help, unable to connect to the ODBC database using the SQL Toolbox!

    Hi all

    I'm playing around with the evaluation of SQL Toolkit (2.2 + patch) and I'm having trouble.

    I ran the example 'connect' program and it seems to work fine.

    However, I try to write my own program, and I get the same message:

    "Service connection BD: (return value ==-10 [0xFFFFFFF6])."

    Native error - 2147467259 code 0x80004005

    The message is different from time to time, but the return value is constant.

    I use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and MySQL.

    For MySQL, I installed the last Connector ODBC, 5.3.4. Inside the Control Panel / Data Sources (ODBC), I have a DSN called test_mysql in DSN user and system DSN.

    I ran a test on the connection and the test passes. I don't know if I have to use the ansi or unicode driver, I tried both with the same success.

    I do not know I had properly configured the SQL Server connection and who will try again.

    My Code CVI is quite simple:

    hdbc = connection BD ("DSN = test_mysql");

    Whenever I get a - 10 BD. Either I have something configured wrong or am I missing something.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Update 2:

    After getting off the phone with Technical Support, the problem has been identified!

    LabWindows SQL Toolkit requires 32 bits DNS. My PC is a 64-bit, so my default DNS Manager in 64-bit.

    I needed to use the DNS Manager 32-bit when you work with the box tool.

    Once I created my DNS connections using the 32-bit version of the Datga ODBC Source manager, everything worked fine.

    Hi guys,.

    I have this error when I start my LOCAL database. It is said
    ORA-00119: invalid specification for the system LOCAL_LISTENER parameter

    IN my TNSNAMES file. ORA
    I got this,

    LISTENER =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = szejie) (PORT = 1521)
    )

    IN MY file pfile or SPFILE, I had this

    * .local_listener = 'LISTENER.

    WHEN I hit START in SQLPLUS, I always get this error

    SYS@ORCL on 7 March 09 > start
    ORA-00119: invalid specification for the system LOCAL_LISTENER parameter
    ORA-00132: error syntax or network name not resolved "LISTENER".

    PMON, AUTOMATICALLY register my ORCL service with the the LISTENER?

    What should I do?
    Please help thanks.

    Best regards
    Noob

    Hello

    You try to save another port than the default port 1521?

    To do this or take local_listener completely out of your pfile file and try with

    Edit your sqlnet.ora and add the value of NAMES.DEFAULT_DOMAIN to the alias in the tnsnames.ora:
    set the domain to "world"

    *sqlnet.ora:*
    NAMES.DEFAULT_DOMAIN=world

    init.ora:
    LOCAL_LISTENER=LISTENER

    In order to resolve this issue with LISTENER, it is necessary to add the domain "world" to the tnsnames.ora file entry

    Or modify the init.ora file and remove loca_listener.

    sqlplus "/as sysdba"
    sql> startup nomount pfile='/path_to_pfile/init.ora'; -- it will process all the init.ora parameter and let you know if you have to resolve more
    If successfully processed
    sql> alter database mount;
    sql> alter database open;
    Once successfully opened, then shutdown it down
    sql> shutdown immediate;
    sql> create spfile from pfile='/path_to_pfile/init.ora';
    sql>startup;

    Unable to connect to the repository database. SGD will be automatically restarted once he identifies database and the listener are on the rise.

    Try to check the details SGD results in an error as well:

    [config oracle@ora-emcc] $ $OMS_HOME/bin/emctl status who-details - sysman_pwd $SYSMAN_PWD

    In the WebLogic administration Console, I see the BEEP, EMGC_ADMINSERVER, and EMGC_OMS1 are all in the State Running and health Ok.

    Our servers SGD and OMR are (and have always been) 2 different machines. The database on OMR has always been (and is currently) high and available.

    Checking that I can connect to the database of repository on the SGD server OMR:

    [oracle@ora-emcc ~] $ sqlplus sysman / $SYSMAN_PWD@ora-emccdb:1521 / emccdb

    Hi Mathieu,

    Thanks for the comments. I just got an update of Oracle on the SR with a few more instructions on different things to try/run.

    I met problems with Weblogic in step 1 and could not understand the multitude of possible causes. After some googling I found others who has ended up just restart that did the trick. It worked for me as well as far as I can see now. I'll do some tests to check, but well.

    Thank you

    Ed
