Unable to deploy the application example of planning

Hi all

I'm trying to deploy the planning application model with the help of the OBE 11.1.1.3. When I click on finish, I get an error like below:

«Year error occurred while processing this page.» Check the log for details"

I checked all my services are up and actually I am not able to understand the origin of trace the error information. I checked in the logs folder, but was not helpful. Please advice how to solve this problem.

File-> import-> General-> existing projects into workspace and you need to select the directory or the zip file.

I have read a document of oracle error HPCM knowledge base: deployment Coordinator application of EPMA 'Abandoned Action' [1362743.1 ID]
but when changed boot.properties file its corrupting complete component. This is why I replaced the old boot.properties file

I don't know if HPCM was deployed correctly at the first time or not.

Unable to deploy the EPM Application

I use EMP 11.1.2.3 application and Essbase created in the new library of the Application. But I'm not able to deploy this application to Essbase server.
Please find the journal of validation below folder. The result indicates success. But when I checked the status in the console work, it is abandoned. Please could you help me to deploy the application.

Did you do a right click on the application in the application library and run the diagnostics, have you checked the epma and essbase, newspapers is essbase studio works ok as epma use studio to deploy.

You need to change below-

The value of the mds.db.userid property must be created in DB using the remote schema MDS name. For example - dev_mds
The value of the mds.db.password property must be the password for MDS schema.

Make sure that the "mds_internal_shredded" module is in valid state (compiled) in the MDS schema.

deploy the application on the Simulator console

I want to deploy my application on the BB Simulator without going through Eclipse. In more detail:

-from the emulator in debug mode (with the correct settings)

-deploy the application in the emulator

-redirect all output to the console for debugging.

Could someone illustrate how to perform this procedure in my console windows?

Failed to initialize the Application example in Hyperion Planning

I'm new on Essbase and Hyperion EPM system 11.1.1.1.0 and I'm trying to test the functionality of planning. I have installed and configured the EPM system, and when I run the Diagnostics of the EPM system, everything is successful unless connecting to Essbase Studio Server (which is a separate issue from another thread).

I'm working with the example of planning application included with the installation. I followed the instructions given here from the blog of John Goodwin, but I encounter an error when I try to initialize the sample application. I also tried creating the application through the workspace, which is documented here. I get the same error during initialization of the sample application.

I get the error message said: "failed to initialize the sample Application. See the log for more details. "Where this journal of planning? I'm running on Tomcat.

When I try to create the database, following the blog of John, through the Administration > manage the database > Create, I also am getting an error on step 18 of 21: [console] verification of member formulas. The error reads as follows:

If you remove the application, back, restart schedule, create the sample application again and initialize you should be fine, then you can return the clock to its normal state.

You always make the changes on the side planning and when you refresh these changes will be pushed to essbase (which you can see with EAS).

I am not able to understand why the new application is not able to enroll in shared services. Any ideas? Thank you

Here's the step.

Copy the folder "Report Style Sheets" of

\\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\FinancialManagement\Server working folder

TO

\\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\products\FinancialManagement\Server working folder

After you have copied the folder, if it please redeploy the application and check if it works.

Unable to remove the application from planning 11.1.2.2
Hi all

I've removed the Hyperion of EPMA Application Library howerver Planning Application when I click on Navigate-> applications-planning of the workspace, I am still able to see the application of planning that I deleted applications EPMA library. How to completely remove the Planning Application.

Kindly help me.

If you have restarted the service, and it is always the same then you will need to manually delete the app, have a read of planning 11.1.1.3 - manually remove a classic Application

Or if you can still you connect to planning app, then you might try conversion classic back and then delete. To convert back to classic go to manage properties under Administration: EDIT_DIM_ENABLED = TRUE
Restart the services, go to the planning administration and remove the app

Unable to deploy the MAF application on the emulator or device in the last downloaded SDK

I was working at the request of the MAF with old android SDK, which has been downloaded a few months back.
I downloaded the latest SDK the android site form. But now the app is not deployed.
It throws the below error:
After a throwugh search blogs I have deployed the apk file directly on the device, but then the initial screen of Red Oracle load forever and I do not get the intended page.
Please help me.

MAF 2.0.1.2.0 is not compatible Android 5 Lollipop (API 21). You can leave installed in the SDK, but all 21 API also download API 19 and use instead.

Lollipop support is coming in the next version of MAF due.
