• Cannot connect to project cRIO. Works of MAX.

  I can connect to my cRIO 9073 in MAX and can ftp to it.  However, in a LabVIEW project, I can not connect.  (I can restart the target of the project)  When trying to connect I get the message "Unable to connect to the target in real time".  I reinstalled the software on the Max, restarted in safe mode, no application, cRIO no fpga.  I ran with console out and got the result below.  Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?

  You try to connect while you are in safe mode?

  If so, that's your problem. Make sure your controller is started in LabVIEW Real-time and then try to connect.

  I have been using a crio9074 and I had no problem. But now I can't find the chassis under "target and devices." However, it is at MAX and also it is connected and works fine when I used it with other existing projects. I have reistalled the software under the crio device and also I updated the drivers of NOR-RIO to 14.5. Is that someone has an idea of what's going on?

  If you create a new project and right click on the project and select new > targets and devices that see you the option at the time CompactRIO real at all?  If you see the option but don't find your material, you can add a target 9074 generic and fill in the IP address of your cRIO connect like that?

  My operating system is Windows XP SP3.  I have installed Windows Digital Image 2006 but when I clicked on "create a new project" he has opened with a page containing a red X, calendar, frog and a butterfly, and I was unable to go further.  It is a good editing software, but I would like to be able to use all the facilities.

  If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
  Use the following steps:
  (1) right click on the program
  2) click Properties
  3) click on the Compatibility tab
  (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

  I understand that it may be a little difficult to understand, since there are no edges or cuts to adjust to pop the base unit on. I took a few photos for you:
  
  Basically what you need to do, it's only gently but firmly push you down on the screen next to the edge to pop out. Make sure it is on the same side as the microUSB port, you recognize there is not not a small hole in the front (and a microUSB on the back port). I've marked the photo that I took with the green as to where you have to press on and red on the side that you should not press.

  About yew, you can exchange the strap, it's quite possible. Everything just to get a different bracelet and insert the base unit. Unfortunately, I can't help where you find it as it varies depending on the market, but see if your retailer can help you in this regard!

• Need help breaking into Java/BlackBerry development / this sample project

  I have a ton of experience OO, but I am new to Java and I am trying to enter development for BlackBerry, and my first problem is being stuck with this defective sample app that comes w/Eclipse or JDE or something (they call it "CityInfo"). When I run the Simulator, I see the drop-down list box, but by selecting its members does nothing, and I don't know enough about the environment/language to understand why.

  I installed all the packages that are free. They are Eclipse (I can't find a version number), JDE, the Java plugin for Eclipse and the BlackBerry JDE 4.3 to 4.7 components Packages.

  And when this has been resolved, perhaps someone can show me a good set of sample applications with tutorials. I'm trying to follow http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/attachments/rim/java_dev@tkb/9/1/Writing_Your_First_Applicat... but it's not compatible w / the environment that I run.

• LR 5.7 upgrade still shows the old PMQS 4 tools to develop the basic tools of the mode cursors!

  I just upgraded a from2011 catalog, probably made in LR4 - to my LR5.7 current (not bought yet LR6) I'm on a yosemite running on the end 2013 10.10.3 iMac - and met a straange glitch during the upgrade of the catalog. It still shows the exposure, recovery, climax and black sliders in the mode of development-while things like the radial filter and vertical position and the normal of other tools are there, WTF!  How can I fix it? It has worked perfectly up to date of other catalogs - what is it this time?  ANYONE?

I implemented the instructions in the Documentation pertaining to 'Description of the sample.  What should be the wx (Linker-> input-> Additional Dependencies) libraries?  In other words, what should replace wxbase28d.lib and wxmsw28d_core.lib?

  I found the answer. In "Property Pages" under "C/C++" "Preprocessor Definitions" Add UNICODE. Came across another indefinite definition where I had to add _XKEYCHECK_H.  This occurred in ADOBE SDK XI by using VS2012. See the image below and note the last two DEFs. Problem solved.

  ODI has not not any server, you don't need any jar/war for deployment.
  Its architecture is based on repositories, master & work repositories, i.e. all
  is stored in the database, and we use enforcement agents.

• Please help a muppet! Just need to steer toward the development of basic web applications

  Hi I have DW/CS5. I used it to create a partner Web site, www.wyevalleyarchery.co.uk, but now I want to create a very basic application.

  What I have is a spreadsheet calculation with numbers and calculations in it. Its a mathematical model for a bow and arrows.

  What I would do is to make available to my web site so users they can grant their bows and arrows.

  I think I have to do, is to create a form with fields text and default value but the editable fields - in this way, they can use my numbers for example and then enter their own numbers according to their equipment.

  What I think then I need is a button that says "do the math" - when the user clicks top app/spreadsheet calculates an output based on their data.

  I'm pretty darn sure that DW can do that, without resorting to learning to code, but I'm too thick to find how to get there.

  Can anyone provide either a beef on some readings or just an example which has 2 input boxes and a box with a button that adds the 2 inputs. Since I can increase it?

  Sorry if my last post was confusing. You must first decide if you want to do with the server-side or client-side code. Since you have no requirements to the persistence of the data, I suggest on the client side because it would lead to a better user experience.

  JavaScript or Flash are probably your only two viable client-side options.

  ASP = Active Server Pages. It's engine side script Microsoft server. It is not a language itself, but supports languages such as VBScript and Javascript script. I mentioned it only because you asked if there was Javascript server-side.  ASP, or "Classic ASP" as they are called now, was not been actively supported by Microsoft in more than 10 years, so if you need to learn the script out server I wouldn't recommend it. He was replaced by ASP.net, but it is exaggerated way for your needs.

  If you decide you don't need features side script server (storage of the data in a database for example), then I suggest PHP.
