• Unable to develop a basic project CRio

  Hello!

  I work with a CRio-9073 chassis and a NI 9205 module. I want to develop a LabVIEW graphical client on the host computer.

  What I want to do is quite simple, and I think I should use scanning for this Interface. I've followed all the instructions on this page:

  Nothing goes wrong so far, but I confess that I was faced with a lot of things that I have finally fixed. Yet, when I opened a new VI in 'click-right on the time controller real CompactRIO in the project', the two before Panel and block diagram open but I have a range of empty function.

  I'm completely stuck and would appreciate any help.

  What version of LabVIEW are you using? I see that you have SP2 2013 LabVIEW (with no toolkits) and LabVIEW 2014 installed (with the FPGA and real-time tools), but your cRIO 2013 installed LabVIEW. You must have the same version of LabVIEW running on the cRIO and your development computer.

  That said, this would not explain an empty palette. Can you share a screenshot, view of your project, including the cRIO target, with a VI in this goal, and with the palette that appears when you right click on the block diagram (even if it is empty) pinned to the window? I've never seen a totally blank palette. You try to add the VI to the target of cRIO, or FPGA underneath?

  I have created a web browser in Visual Studio 2012, just for the program and want to know how to record properly so that I can run on a machine that is completely different as a browser.
  I went through all the folders to get the .exe file, but it does not work if I move the file on my desktop (it cannot find other files of course)

• My Visual Basic 2010 Express application - 'windowsapplication1 has stopped working ".

  Hi guys,.

  Next week, my 11 year created with visual basics project is due. My program is complete and works perfectly when debugging. However, we hand upward like a file executable/installation files + project. Only problem is that as soon as I try to install my program, he stops at the splash screen and displays "windowsapplication1 has stopped working" instantly. I tried it on several computers and failed on all three. They were running Windows 7 (Home Premium x 64), Windows 7 (Enterprise x 86) and Windows 8 Pro x 64 which all .NET 4 nave installed.  I'm new to this so if you need more information, ask if you please.

• How to copy / duplicate project

  I'm having difficulty to determine the best way to make a copy of a project, but as a different project (IE. I have two projects with even basic functionality, but a few differences between them, so I want to make a copy of this basic project and forking separately for developing these changes in a different project and the name of the project folder structure, etc., but using the resources as the original and exact same libs)

  What is the best way to do it? I got hard when I tried to copy and importing files. Similarly, I had trouble with the export project, then Import Project, since I technically already "this project" opens.  What I need is a way to 'export' as a name/different project (or import an existing project as a copy or another name/project)

• Import a project in Eclipse

  My colleague just compressed a flex project and sent it to me. I'm trying to get it set up in my own Eclipse/FlexBuilder and could sure use a little guidance, because I am new to all this.
  
  First of all, to create a new Eclipse workspace for this project?
  Then what? The file | Import function requires that I have create a 'new project '. But if I create a flex project, it creates a whole bunch of files that will be just too written when I unpack the * real project. Which will damage probably someone from the project.
  If, instead, I create a new project and import into that, well, what kind of project can we establish?
  And where to point my workspace directory? Anywhere seems to do, but should it point to the place where I unzip the files of real project?
  
  And finally, is there documentation that covers these basic mechanisms? This seems far far far more complex it is, and a simple explanation of the new configuration and project Eclipse/Flex exlisting would be a great help.

  Open the file click on Eclipse-> Import...
  in a dialog box open the Plus sign next to general and select "projects in the workspace. Click next
  the next window you need to navigate to the directory where you unpacked your project (make sure you select Directory with the file .project inside) after clicking ok in eclipse browser dialogue should recognize as project and finally you will see the eclipse poster who, as a project, you can select, so select it and click on finish, it's everything all must be done.

  (2) If your zipped project doesn't have a .project file:
  before you do anything, you must analyze the directory structure, there WEB - INF inside she CBC etc, if you can describe at least little this directory structure, it would be much easier to tell you how to run.

• Get the overhead of disk too slow on my iMac for LogivX 2010

  During the 2 weeks when using Logic Pro X on my iMac 2010 - overload drive too slow message goes up even on the most basic projects. Could this be a hardware problem with the computer. I had an upgrade memory a few years back.

• Writing terminal COM data to graph using Visa

  This is my first post so try not to tear me to shreads for my lack of knowledge!

  Well, my basic project idea is to have an arduino read a signal in labview in series using the XBee. So far, I'm able to get current values of the chart in by numerical values, but I can't seem to actually be able to GRAPH it. I have an example VI that I 'borrowed' from another source... my field of labview knowledge is so small. My goal is to actually chart an ECG signal fairly quickly so that theres a complete waveform that appears for the chart. In fact, I started learning the basics of this February. If it can be done, can someone give me directions? Something will help you!

  On the side of the arduino, it is the code. The last 'delay' determines the sampling rate. I read the ECG/EMG of sampling signal must adhere to the theory of Nyquist sampling. Frequency maximum EMG is around 500 Hz (filter before low pass of the ADC is set to cut 500 Hz), the sample should be at least twice the maximum frequency - at least 1000 Hz.

• Recommendation/resources (books, examples) for NI Vision

  Hi all

  After a few days I tried to learn and to do some very basic projects (video) using NI Vision and its does not too well, in part because I have no image editing experience or background. I would like to know if there are some resources out there for beginners. I found a book "image acquisition and processing with labview", but it is intended for more experienced users. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

• Automatic files in Excel import of PDM

  I was looking at the NI TDMS for Excel import plugin and it seems that the latest version of the plugin uses the COM API that could allow to import feature be used automatcially. There is a page of brief info on this here http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/10207 but I am new to Excel Macros and VBA, so I don't know how to get this tutorial what I'm willing to do.

  Specifically, I wonder if anyone knows (and could see an example of) how to do the following:

  Starting in a labview VI, the user would choose a path to a PDM file. Once the path is selected, the VI would call the PDM import excel plugin and run it on the file.

  After playing with things, I discovered the solution to this, and I'm posting for everyone in case it may be of some use. To use this solution to work out of the box, you will need the report generation tool. If you don't have that, you would need another way to launch labview Excel and run a macro. I hope that someone who has the knowledge of how to do which will display the part in this thread for those who do not have the Toolbox

  To begin, open excel and in the menu bar, select Tools-> macro-> Visual Basic Editor. The source of the macro that you create is:

  Once you have copied/pasted into the editor to go to the bar and hit file-> export the file and save the macro under one. BAS file

  You will also need to go to tools-> macro-> Security and select the Visual Basic Project Trust so that the macro be called from LV

  Once all this is done, you can use the attached VI (recorded in LV 8.6) food just the way DOWN and the TDMS file via the controls on the front panel and click Run and the PDM import will be done automatically.

  I looked around, without success, and it took a lot, too much time to settle. Keep in mind, I'm no expert with the java/eclipse development environment, so what might seem routine for you would not be for me.

  I had a project that depends on another, I make a change to the Basic project and it used to reflect properly. Now, however, I have to reboot before the changes to the basis of work. I tried the upgrade, copying the empty spaces of work/projects projects, nothing doesn't seem to work and no info on why it fails. Hot swap has just stopped working. Remember that if I make a change to the main project, hot swap works. All ideas

• Separating the main.qml in .qml different files, is more pushed page

  My main.qml became very long (NavigationPane with a Page with a container with a label and ListView and a certain objects attached) and I started to break up.  Before that, when I chose a line in the list, it pushed successfully to the details of the page.  However, when I copy and pasted all within the Page to another qml file that I put in main.qml as object, it is more pushed the detail of the page.  I can't for the life of understand me. I saw / experienced with numerous examples of applications where he worked (Battambang in particular), but cannot see a difference between my folders and those.

  Here are the files, dismembered. When the PillListPage.qml content is copied in main.qml, everything works fine.

  Some superfluous code (user interface format stuff) has been removed. I did essentially the same thing with the grid list Basic project template.  Help, please!  My only guess is that perhaps he does not know which is the data model, once he is out of main.qml. Is there something in c ++ I have to do or something I should even in the QML?

  There is no runtime error and the app loaded successfully, with the only problem being that when I click on a list item, there is no response/transition to the details page.

  However, I found a solution of mine.  I pushed my detail view using a function that is called in the onTriggered signal in the list. Copy the following code is a basic example of what I mean I did simply by separating the code of the project template "grid with details view:

• Question from beginner I can't find through research.

  I did not search for this problem in google so I come back to you guys:

  So far I've been using PhoneGap Desktop and developer PhoneGap on my phone. Basically, I create the project in desktop phonegap and then change the js, css and html inside .www. When I run on PhoneGap developer on my phone, it works perfectly.

  Now when I can zip the project and transfer it to phonegap build and then scan it on my nexus 5, the app it gives me is this form template by default with the phonegap icon and the text of the "device ready". It does not show the app I did.

  What can I do it wrong? Is it not a common problem or can I just not know what to look for?

  In addition, is a new project using phonegap desktop not the right way to get a barebones Basic project going?

  With the help of these tools is a great way to start developing your PhoneGap app, if you want to use the CLI. If you plan to use PhoneGap Build, then you have some work to do.

  PhoneGap Build only wants the www folder. Other records created in the desktop application are not necessary by BMP nor should they be upload of BMPS.

  Also, the config.xml file is in the wrong place. It must be in the same directory as the file index.html.

  Icons and splash screen must be in the www folder. You will probably need to adjust the paths to all references in the file.
