  I bought my copy of CS6 Design & Web Premium in some time around August 2013, but did not install so far. There is a reference manual in the package, where it says that I have to go to www.adobe.com/go/eduverify_ap to give my proof of eligibility and get my serial number. However, after filling out the form online and pressing the button submit, I was redirected to a page "page not found error". Can you please tell how I can get my serial number in this case?

  I finally got my serial number for Photoshop & first 13 items today.  It took 3 Support requests (2 of them "retired/closed" due to non response from my part... answering anything?)  I didn't get any emails or phone calls). I contacted the online retail store, I bought the software from and they "surge" my case of support for me.  I think it helped. Then, I got a phone call from the Adobe support and then using the Chrome browser, I could "submit" my audit. (I had tried Chrome earlier without success). It took a few days after that to get my serial number.  Disappointed that it took so long, but happy to finally have my serial number.

  What are the blocker of Adobe which affects the serial number validation processes.

  Follow the procedure below:

  • Remove all entries that has name of adobe. Then close the Textedit, it will Autosave.
  • Make sure that there is no entry of Adobe on the inside.
  • Then copy and paste the Hosts file in folder etc.
  • We replace the modified hosts file that we had copied on the desktop with the original Hosts file inside the folder etc.
  • When you are prompted, the authentication by password Mac,
  • Be sure to select the option Replace ...
  • Once you have replaced the Hosts file, double click on it again and check if the Hosts file is free of Adobe entries.

  Then try to activate the CS 6 apps using the serial number, it shud work.
