  There is no OCR s/w available for this printer. You can use any other s/w such as FreeOCR or ReadIRIS OCR

  I used to be able to analyze as many pages of a PDF I wanted. I usually just an update of HP suggests, I don't know when the last of them was, or if it is a factor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I read about how you can no longer scan multiple pages with your Deskjet 2050 printer and I want to offer my suggestions.

  Click this link to get the drivers and software download page, select your operating system and select "driver" and download the full feature software and driver. Once the download is complete, run through the installation to install all the features of your printer. You should have the options at the time where the installation is done. :

  If there is still problems with scanning, answer with your operating system and error you see!

  Follow the steps below to set the black ink only.

  1. open the printing preferences (step 1)

  2. click on the Advanced button (step 2)

  3. click on the drop down arrow next to the print in grayscale to change black ink only.

  I have a deskjet 2050 j510 series.  I have Yosemite on my Macbook Pro 10.10.

  Printer scan, but when it is supposed to print, it send the document to the printer, it shows and show it is printing but nothing comes out of the printer.

  Are you connected USB or wireless?

  I have a few suggestions:

  First, uninstall the old software:

  • Uninstalling the printer software.

  Then, check and repair disk permissions:

  • On the service repair disk from disk utility permissions.

  After the repair, run the Apple updates:

  • OS x: update of OS X and Mac App Store apps

  Once updated, reinstall the printer:

  • Drivers and software HP Deskjet 2050 / 2050 all-in - One Printer full features J510 Series A

• Unable to print PDFS downloaded with the new Adobe Reader DC

  Using iMac OSX El Capitan and last DC drive Adobe's Acrobat.  I'm unable to print all PDF documents were downloaded from a bank.  Error message: "Unable to do print - no selected pages.  When I use the arrow keys to move between the pages in the PDF doc page numbers are "grayed out", both the selected page and the total number of pages.

  If choose Edition > select all > print, I get the same error messages.  Any suggestions?

  Try the following: open Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, go to preferences in Acrobat Reader DC

  • under Documents, change "Show the documents in PDF/A mode" Never
  • under the (enhanced) protection, clear protected at Startup Mode

  Now, try to print.

  I would like to know if it works.

  I recently had to do a clean install on my desktop computer.  Is it possible that I can print to PDF with my Adobe Acrobat Pro 8, which was working fine before the clean install.  I am aware that Adobe supports this version is no longer, but isn't this program, able to run without updating?  You want to print the pdf files from Web sites and Microsoft office.  Spin operating system Windows 7 Ultimate.

  Windows 7 is not a platform proven to Acrobat 8.

  Top of greaded for the new laptop that has windows 10 and can not get my printer to be seen.  When the printer is connected through the USB port, computer laptop just scan, load an application for wireless use won't see or interact with the printer as the device is not a wireless model, (only 5 years).  printer still works great on Windows 7 laptop, but the laptop keeps freezing as is the reasosn for the upgrade.

  Question is how to make the new laptop to use my printer?

  I still have the domain controller that came with it, but it will not work installation on the laptop W10.

  Help, please.

  My laptop doesn't have a hard drive, so I tried to configure the printer remotely by sharing the drive through another computer, but when I tried to install the software, it says "this Setup program is not compatible with the version of the operating system on your computer.   You can always try to open the software by following the steps described in this paper: How to open a developer not identified in OS X applications.

  The steps should also work for Yosemite.

  If the problem persists, I would suggest to download and install the HP v3.0 for OS X printer drivers.

  Hi, I can not print forms sites like IRS or other sites that I need to print the forms. He always tells me to save with HP eprint. Well, I did this month it y a. I changed printers default to the HP deskjet 1000 printer and tested on HP print and scan doctor 4.2. It worked very well on the test print, but when I try to print the IRS forms and what not he seems to have stopped. Note, I am on win 8.1 and the forms are in PDF files. Do I need eprint to print. I can't even re-record the codes they sent me gives me an error message. any suggestions thanks

  HP ePrint is designed to allow you to print from virtually anywhere on an HP printer that supports ePrint. If you print from your computer at home I download and install the full software features and drivers for the printer.  I have included a document on how to install your printer using Windows 8.1.

  I watched this videoand follow these steps, but it seemed impossible to print my printer wifi, then what should I need to print in my network.

  Also, I have 2 desktop computers (1 router to connect to the internet and 1 printer, use wifi) and 1 laptop (wifi use).

  1. Office has the modem, Windows 7 64 bit.
  2. Office printer, use Windows XP SP3.
  3. Laptop using Windows 7 64 bit.

  If it is possible to print in a wireless network of my HP Deskjet 2050, I can print from my laptop without turning on 1 desktop printer or not, just that the printer lights? And what I have to install each office and cell phones, drivers of the printer? 

  I mean just 1 desktop computer a Modem lights and I'm working on laptop.

  Well, you can turn the impression on the host PC sharing, then load the drivers on the other PC and print via the host PC.

  The host computer must be turned on (not sleeping).  Also, this is going to share the printer, but cannot share the analysis.  If the host computer has to one different operating system than the others, it can be difficult and is not all that reliable.

  It's as good as it gets with a USB printer only.  If you want more you have to get a wireless printer.

  The deskjet 2050 printer does not support printing without margins, as you will find by notebook loads below:

  Without borders: No.

  This material allows to print only to a certain margin.

  The lower border is 0.57 ", the top border is 0.06 'and the left and right borders are 0.125. any impression beyond these margins is cut off due to the limitations of harware.

I have a new hp laptop wwindoows 8 (I know if 32 or 64 bit). y at - it a driver/patch or something that will allow me to use this printer with windows 8.  at present, it can be used with xp, vista and 7, but not 8.
