HP Deskjet 2050 print in a wireless network?

Hello world!

I watched this videoand follow these steps, but it seemed impossible to print my printer wifi, then what should I need to print in my network.

Also, I have 2 desktop computers (1 router to connect to the internet and 1 printer, use wifi) and 1 laptop (wifi use).

  1. Office has the modem, Windows 7 64 bit.
  2. Office printer, use Windows XP SP3.
  3. Laptop using Windows 7 64 bit.

If it is possible to print in a wireless network of my HP Deskjet 2050, I can print from my laptop without turning on 1 desktop printer or not, just that the printer lights? And what I have to install each office and cell phones, drivers of the printer?

I mean just 1 desktop computer a Modem lights and I'm working on laptop.

Thank you for reading and re-reading!

Well, you can turn the impression on the host PC sharing, then load the drivers on the other PC and print via the host PC.

The host computer must be turned on (not sleeping).  Also, this is going to share the printer, but cannot share the analysis.  If the host computer has to one different operating system than the others, it can be difficult and is not all that reliable.

It's as good as it gets with a USB printer only.  If you want more you have to get a wireless printer.

I got 15 updates from windows, two days ago and now I can't access my Brother MCF-J825 DW printer on my wireless network.  I had the same problem with my computer that is on the local network and I got an update for the printer of MCF-J835DW brother.  After downloading and installing, I now have my computer on the LAN working.  I am unable to find the KB with this driver.  I have redownloaded the Brother software for the printer.  I did the installation, however, even if the computer detects the connection to the local network, I'm unable to print to the printer.

The KB seems to have solved my problem on a computer.  I need the number.

Thank you,-I now have this problem.  Thanks anyway.

If you go to Microsoft updates and click review update history, you can see the number of KB and each update, the date it was insstalled.

  • How can I add a printer to my wireless network

How can I add a printer to my wireless network

    John

I assume that you have a wireless printer. If so, the software is different from each manufacturer, but it is similar to this. Before starting the installation, make sure that you have a USB cable at your fingertips and you know your network name (SSID) and wireless key. Install the software and follow the prompts to set up the connection Wireless for the first time. Once it has been set up you can unplug the USB cable.

The USB cable is not required on subsequent computers, simply install the software and follow the prompts on the screen of an additional computer (or similar wording). You may need to enter an SSID and Wi - Fi key, after which the printer must be accounted for.

  • OfficeJet 6700 cannot find the printer on the wireless network

Printer is connected to my wireless network.

Print diagnostic shows PASS for everything and I have ip (DHCP 192.168.2.19)

The printer is able to connect to the internet to download updates and pull content for apps (colouring etc...)

I disabled my firewall of windows to resolve the problems, but the HP software was listed as exceptions anyway.

Using the printer on my computer connection wizard I entered both the IP address and the host name but it is "impossible to find the printer.

My router is a netgear WNDR3700.

The ssid that I am connected is good.  I have a network of both comments, but it does not broadcast its ssid and I am not connected to it.

I am getting very frustrated.  I'm tech-saavy and it should be much easier than this.

I wonder if anyone else encountered this problem and can anyone offer suggestions?

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi mbelsey,

By following the steps below resets the defaults on the printer. Reconnect the printer to the wireless network using the address assigned to the router DHCP. Once you have connected it to try to access the EWS and Ping the printer. Let me know what you find?

    Hi @tomiet,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that your HP Officejet 4620 will print on your wireless network, using Mac OS X 10.10. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm happy to help you!

I recommend trying an installation installation of Wireless USB. Please consult this guide, convert a wireless USB connected printer. In addition, this video can help as well, Configuration of wireless USB printers.

  • HP Photosmart B109: cannot connect the printer to the wireless network

I have some setting wrong my printer for wireless printing. It has worked well in the past, but with my new macbook air - this isn't.

I can't access the function where to add the printer to the wireless network (my router does not support WPS so his password WPA).

I remember setting this up on a PC - easy with the driver provided by HP, but on the Mac, the configuration tool does not appear to be a function where I add the printer to the wireless network - and HP did not provide a driver, because it is supposed to work with the mac built-in software.

The manual says only: "follow the instructions on the screen", but the printer does not have instructions on how to connect - on-screen tests, only that it is connected...

Anyone who knows how to add the printer to a wireless network?

    Hello @Joahkim!

    Welcome to the HP community!

I understand that you have a problem to set up all-in-one printer wireless HP Photosmart (B109n) with your new MacBook Air OS x 10.10. I want to help you with this.

Have you changed your router or your password since the MacBook Air? If this is not the case, your printer can still be connected to the network and the trickiest part of that place will be done for us already.

We will print a Network Configuration report to see if it is connected:

    • On the Control Panel, press the button next to Scan. The Scan/Wireless menu.
  • Set up a wireless printer to a wireless network and to a computer with windows 7

My question is this; I would like to set up my HP 4500 wireless printer to a wireless network and on my laptop windows 7 at the same time. Does make a difference if I put it to the computer first, or the first wireless network?

Just follow the instructions that came with the printer.    Your computer is required to install the printer, so the work of the computer first would be a good idea.

  • HP Deskjet 3830: Printer connected by wireless worked well until someone joined the home network - looking for password now!

I created my HP Deskjet 3830 yesterday and it worked on wireless connection. At no time was I asked a network security key.

A colleague joined today to the home network (yesterday I was myself), and requested a key security network - to my surprise I was so.

I put my wireless network password, and he says that it is evil. I used HP Print and Scan doctor to confirm the password (I guess that's the same thing as a "security key" - it was OK, but I keep being told it's wrong.)

It is porrible that it is because my setup yesterday wasn't network but without straight wire? Or want to say I'm wrong?

Other: since yesterday I have not changed anything or even restarted.

Reset the printer to the default network. Now plug it back to your routers SSID with password. Try now. If Direct wireless is enabled in the printer, turn it off.

  • How to connect a USB-wireless printer to a wireless network without PC

Some HP printers do not have a Wizard of wireless configuration integrated into the façade to connect to a network.  These models install to a computer via a USB connection and the software then sends information wireless via the USB cable to the printer.  However, you do not always have a present computer and still need to connect these printers to a wireless network.  You can use a wireless, like an iPad device, to do this.  For the example below, I used an iPad and a printer Deskjet 3510.

The first step is to make sure that your printer is aired at an (Ad Hoc) network.  To do this, turn on the printer and press the wireless or wireless Tower, and then in the Setup menu. Connect the iPad (or other wireless device) to the signal being broadcast by the printer wireless.

Once the iPad is connected to the printer as long as a network connection, open the Web browser on the iPad.  Type 192.168.223.1 in the address bar and go to this site.  Printer status page should load and look like the picture below.

Click the network at the top of the status page.  You can get a quick warning while being redirected to an HTTPS site.  Click Ok in the message box to continue.  When you click OK, you can get a warning about the identity of the server or the certificate.  Select the option that allows you to continue.  The wording can vary from a browser, but there should be an option to continue anyway.

Network status page should now be loaded at this point.  Select Assistant wireless to start the installation of the wireless network and click Next.

When then is selected, it must list the available wireless networks.  Select your network from the list and click Next.  When the network is selected, it should be noted.

Enter the network password if necessary and click Next.

A message should be received indicating the name and if security is enabled.  The message below which must indicate that the settings have been saved successfully.  If it indicates that the settings were saved successfully with an error, the configuration of the network is more than likely operation.  Click Ok at the bottom.

After selecting OK, select status to check that the printer is connected successfully.  It may take a few minutes for light wireless to the printer to stop flashing.  Once it is a solid blue, the printer must be on the network and operation.

Once this is over, then you will be able to reconnect to your wireless (wireless router) normal signal for internet access.  Now, the iPad and the printer are on the same home network.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to share a printer on a wireless network?

How to set up my computer so that my wife and I could share a common printer? We have a wireless network

If your printer is sensitive to the network, then neither PC must depend on each other to access the printer.  I'm not in my Vista system right now, so these instructions are for Windows 7.  Vista should be similar.

Open devices and printers, click Add a printer > add a local printer.  Select create a new port, choose Standard TCP/IP port, and click Next.  Enter the IP address of the printer.  Click Next.  Select the printer manufacturer and printer type and complete the wizard or click on disk, the browser on the disk that contains the driver, select it and complete the wizard.
