  Problems sometimes video and audio are caused to a level lower and not directly related to Flash Player.  I recommend that you try the links below to see how they play.  If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit because the HTML5 video link doesn't use Flash Player during playback.  You can check this by clicking on the HTML5 video and look for the words "On HTML5" at the bottom of the menu.

  I am running windows 7, and recently, after a player update will not project any DVD or video I have on the laptop. I can hear the audio, but I don't see the picture just a black screen. I tried rolling back the drivers and it worked until I turned the laptop off and restarted. I also tried to restore to apoint before the update, but after a day of the update cancels everything and I'm back to square one!

  has any body had this problem and what can I do to fix it permanently?

  I can only imagine that you have automatic updates of Windows...
  Sometimes, it will install an updated video driver that does not like
  compatible with your system than you have ever had.

  Looks like that may be what's happening. Roll you back
  or do a system restore and it just install it once again.

  The only way I know to control this problem would be to
  disable the automatic updates of Windows. Will need you
  to visit the site regularly to see if you have installed updates.

  Using CS5 I encounter a weird bug trying to 'author' as3 documents in cs5.

  For some strange reason, I am unable to 'visually' see anything either shot or dragged from the library to the stage in design mode. However I was able to observe that the timeline seems to indicate that something does not exist on a keyframe. I also see when I test the movie. Note that this happens for only AS3 files version / documents (not the .AS files)

  Remove the addon firebug flash (not disable but delete) and the error will be gone.

• Unable to see the video in CS4

  I improved body 1.5-CS4.  When I opened an old project of body 1.5 in CS4, or when I create a new project in CS4, everything works fine - except that I don't see video movement in one of the source, program monitor, or tiny little windows (top left) project.  Sound works fine, the clip in the project is read, but the windows are black.  When I pause and click on a window, I get a fixed image, but as soon as I press play it's back to black.

  I think that this part of the 16 Questions, but give particular attention to the property used in these projects. Please give all the details about them, especially the CODEC used.

  Now, a few other questions:

  (1.) because you are upgrading the machines/OS? No matter what, when you updated to CS4?

  2.) when was the last time you updated the driver of your vid card? If more than two weeks previously, the last being updated that.

• Skype webcam buffering - unable to see the video

  My webcam Skype comes to start buffering. the Skype screen displays a gray screen with the loading circle, but will not load video. My webcam is also, and the person I called said that they had too. I tried to run Microsoft Fix It, but he says that Windows 8 has not been supported. The sound was a bit sketchy because he was running audio normal, and then it would reduce significantly before going back to audio normal again; This has happened at random. • I am unable to see the Weather Channel videos

  I can't see the videos on the weather channel. They don't seem to be flash videos. All I get is a spinning loading wheel which does not stop. I don't have similar problems on other sites (CNN or Youtube for example). If I turn the flash on and outside blocker, he does not seem to affect the problem.

  Do you mean during the import process?

  There is no FCP X parameter to change the way THAT DV is imported.

  I used to hear the audio import with Sony cameras but Canon may be a different story.

  If the imported files are OK, then it can be a thing of Protocol firewire Canon.
