  I've updated the bios with an update from the center of toshiba, but the process is unresponsive and I had to restart the computer. The result is the laptop does not start because I think I lost the bios of programming.   I'm afraid you have no other alternative besides contacting an ASP using m.

  It seems that the ROM module is not flashed on the correct order and the technician could try to relash Rom module with a BIOS version of crisis

  I would recommend contacting the local ASP in order to solve this problem

  Today I tried to upgrade from Lightroom. Normal update ended with error U44M1P7 and downgrade to 6.0.

  I tried all the help page ("Installation failed" error U44M1P7 with Adobe Creative Cloud or updates of Adobe Creative Suite 6) including reinstall Lightroom (with reboot after each operation). Nothing helps. I can't spend 6.6 and now still I have 6.5.1 but old 6.0.

  I use Windows 10 Professional, Polish version.

  Do you get the same error if manually maintaining Lightroom update?

  If so, then uninstall Lightroom.

  • Download Lightroom to install Photoshop Lightroom
  • Reinstall the update

  Please give these a try, one at a time until you have success:

  Restart the computer.

  (1) try to delete the files in the temp folder, and then restart the machine.

  Win: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Temp GOLD folder in the address bar.

  Mac: / tmp

  (2) close conflicting processes or applications

  (3) try to have total control over the directory temp (authorization).

  (4) attempts to create a new Admin account and try to install it.

  (5) try to move the files downloaded to the desktop and then install.

  (6) the redistributable Visual C++ 2010 x 86 uninstall and reinstall.

  Lr 3.5 to 3.6 Lr is an update.

  L3 to Lr4 is an upgrade.

  Updates are free, for upgrades, you have to pay.

  The feature in the help of Lr is called "Check for updates", not "check for upgrades".
