Unable to send mail but capable of receiving a specific recipient

I have no problem in sending mails using my Windows Mail, but there is a particular recipient, which I was not able to send emails to, but has been able to receive emails on his part. The error returned is:

Error SMTP from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<*** email="" address="" is="" removed="" for="" privacy="" ***="">:
host inbound.homesteadmail.com [209.157.71.80]:

However, I tried to use the Yahoo email and managed to send emails to the recipient above.

Can anyone help to provide a solution as soon as POSSIBLE? Thanks in advance.

Daniel

Hello

ISP of your recipient is blocking email from the account you are using, your recipient will need to communicate with their host to have it unlocked. The account has been reported as used for spam.

Windows XP SP3 - Outlook Express receives and sends messages, but do not delete received messages.  Can you help?

You have corruption of dbx files.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and move the messages you want to record off deleted items, and sent items. Locate the OE message store and then close OE.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the Deleted Items.dbx and Sent Items.dbx files and delete them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.

Compact all folders as described below.

To avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

I contacted Norton to see if that was the problem and they came to the conclusion that it wasn't Norton but the ISP or Windows Server problem. I followed the tutorials in the knowledge base. I want users of my application to be able to configure the address and I don't want to save a copy of the email to any folder/email address on the phone.

I'm currently debugging the code and it does throw an exception, and it is correctly signed. However, I get e-mails in the e-mail account 'to' or 'to' if account I have configured the application to bcc a copy for the account.

Do I need to configure the appliance to send emails? I don't want to use any account e-mail on the device.

    Thank you

"can be sent to programtically without going through an email account set up on the phone?

There is no API that I'm aware of that will support this.

"When you say"works"he throws any exceptions, but it sends no emails no more"

Doing so on the Simulator, not the end of the email to the top in the list of Messages.  The Simulator will attempt to send it and then, since you don't have the ESS work, give up.

"If the user must create an account on the phone, do I need to modify the code to use it.

As mentioned, I don't think that this code works without an account on the phone, so I think that this question is moot.

"If you use the e-mail account on the device how is, you can define an address «of» the message?

I don't think you can define an address.

"you have more than one e-mail account on a device?

    Yes.

  • OE, send emails, but do not receive not.

For two weeks about once a day opening OE would bring a box with my email and password asking me to check.  Clicking OK did not help.  OE would remain in mode "allow."  I could close OE, try again and it would work normal.  Ago about the same problem, but then the OE began not to receive emails (although got them all morning).  I called my ISP, AT & T U-Verse.  They reset my password and permission no longer appears, but I still could not receive emails.  They had me go to properties in OE and change the mail incoming (POP3) from 110 to 995.  It also did not help.  I can open OE, send emails and one sent to myself; It is located in the sent folder and appears in my Inbox on the server.  I get this message:

  • Unable to send mail from Yahoo mail Surface RT application

For several weeks, the Soft Surface mail has posted a message saying that it is currently impossible to send e-mail on my Yahoo account.

    He receives mail from Yahoo.

My other devices (desktop PC, Blackberry) had no problem.  In addition, there is no problem ending by email from the application of Surface IE.

So, what gives?  I have no idea to ask yahoo on this issue.  In addition, I suspect that it would be unproductive to ask them.  There must be something on the Surface since the other devices work correctly.

I can't be the users only Surface like that wrong with Yahoo mail.

Does anyone have any info or suggestions?

I could solve this problem.  I removed the Yahoo account since the mail app and then it added back as if it were new.  At least for the moment, which seems to have solved the problem and I can send by e-mail.  I'm still puzzled why it happened, but maybe I should be glad it is fixed with minimal effort.

With respect to the application of mail, I love because it is bigger and clearer to read and use than using IE page.  Yes, IE works, but it's just a little small and so be more careful when clicking, etc.  More difficult to use the IE window without a mouse or a stylus. I normally use a mouse but occasionally led her to use the keyboard with no mouse on the screen and find my fingers are clumsy to hit the right spot.  The mail application is therefore easier in this regard.  But I agree IE works fine.

    Thank you.

Update - see later post.  It happened again, the next day!

  • I can not send messages, but I can receive

    Hello world.

I have an account that I've run with these settings on my mobile phone.

try to use thunderbird because the web mailer spamfilter is horrible and more I would like to organize yourself better yet (which is pretty hard on the webmailer). I had some problems with outlook and so I wanted to use thunderbird.

in any case, download the software to receive messages but it cannot send.

I tried basically all possible combinations (STARTTLS and SLL/TLS) connection security, the method of authentication and ports (25, 465, 587)

I have as little turned off the avira scanner, but it did not help...

don't really know how to go...

BTW. just tried it on outlook again and it seems to do the same thing

Re: Coming OUT:, mail.fosera.com:25, alwaysSTARTTLS, passwordEncrypted, true

Check if port 25 is blocked. Many now to block port 25 ISPS. The link below has good help on how to check this.

    What results did you get?

Suggest you try: outgoing SMTP server settings: server name: several names servers use smtp 'mail' or ' in front of the domain name. Keep it as you already have 'mail.fosera.com', and change other settings as shown below.

    • port 587
    • Connection security: STARTTLS
    • Authentication method: Normal password.

    Click OK

Restart the test Thunderbird sending an e-mail of "write".

If no joy... So to keep the same settings but changing the name of the server at: smtp.fosera.com

Restart the test Thunderbird sending an e-mail of "write".

  • Unable to send mail on outlook express 6.0

I get emails from my outlook with juno e-mail account Express 6.0, but I cannot send emails from outlook express 6.0

I get the following error message

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'emails Rader Miller', server: 'authsmtp.juno.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E

1: has this ever worked in Outlook Express account?

2: Check your settings with these. I don't think that yours are correct.
