Unable to send the message to a group (see p156) in Outlook Express 6.

Original title: Outlook Express.

Using OE6 and XP Pro with SP3.  Trying to send a message to a group (see p156) in troubleshooting Outlook.  I can't understand how to enter the individual the group names in the BCC field.  I can get the name of the group, but this does not seem to do the trick.  Individual names within the group are not separately present in the address book, with the exception of my own which is only there to see if my plan works.  Do I have to have these names and addresses email present in the address book as well?  Have not yet tried.  Help me if possible.  Is the latest version OE6?

Hi NormanMancuso,

You can follow the steps in this link & check if the problem persists:

In Outlook Express, how can I send the same message to a group important (in the address book already), but have to each recipient can only see his name (not the Group)

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

If I am using 11 G andrtp is g 11 but on rtp side if they configure SSL, it is mandatory to do it on our side too?

No, it is not required to activate SSL on your side, but must configure identity and trsut on your side.

Any update on my regular issue (the main issue of the forum)?

You mentioned that you send messages message of 10 g and 11 g and according to the newspapers you ship to URL - b2b / https://dev-nog.server:443 / transportServlet

If there are few things that I see as a problem-

    1. you must use the URL https://hostname:soa_server_ssl_port/b2b/httpReceiver instead of https://dev-nog.server:443/b2b/transportServlet
2 SOA server SSL port must be enabled (SSL must be enabled on the server of SOA)
    3. you must configure portfolio from 10 g to contain 11 g server trust cert

    Kind regards
    Anuj

When I delete an email, I get a message "unable to forward the message to the trash?" How to fix this problem?

Try this. Settings > Mail, contacts, calendars > your e-mail account name > account > advanced (swipe down to see this) > deleted mailbox > Trash and make sure that move you the rejected Messages in > deleted mailbox.

  • Windows Mail error message: "some of the files could not be found and could not be attached to the message." You want to send the message anyway? »

original title: end this message appears "some of the files could not be found and he could not be attached to the message." You want to send the message anyway? "I am running Windows Vista Home Basic Edition
    Hello
I'm so frustrated, this problem has arisen at a very bad time!

I started to use Windows Mail a few months ago and have had no problems so far, since Thursday night, every time that I attach a file to an e-mail message when I click on send this message 'some files was not found and could not be attached to the message. You want to send the message anyway? "I am running Windows Vista Home Basic Edition.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Method 1:
You can perform the steps of troubleshooting from the link:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-problems-with-Windows-Mail

    Method 2:
You can check if the default e-mail program is selected, follow the steps to do this:
    a. go to: Control Panel and go to default programs. Select Configure programs and Computer Defaults b. Select continues if the permissions window will appear
    c. left, double-click Custom, under Choose a default e-mail program, select Windows Mail.
    d. click Ok and close.

    Method 3:
If none of the above steps are useful, then try to perform the system restore to the date when it was working fine.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-system-restore

NOTE: System Restore does not affect personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos, so it cannot help you restore a deleted file. If you have backups of your files, you can restore files from a backup.

    Method 4:
If the file you are trying to download is opened, then it will not download, you can close the file completely and then try to download.

  • BlackBerry passport how to press 'enter' - but does not send the message?

The title of this question sounds missleading, so first I want to clarify: of course, I don't want to change the General settings. 'Enter' no doubt needs to send the message, everything is not suitable for me. I just need to know how to jump a line in this mode.

For all my blackberries former, this happens with the key combination "shift" and "enter". But with my passport for blackberry, that it does not, that gives me a hard time, really. I don't want to disable the function to send a message by pressing 'enter' in general, it makes even less sense, I just want to know how to jump a line in typing. And I can't really picture what a device designed for quick and extensive writing eliminates even the possibility of it in normal view from strike.

    any help?

    Josh-Go wrote:

Assuming it's a BBM or TEXT message?

Touch and hold the screen ^ arrow on the left and the Enter key.

It is the SHIFT key, I know will say you this does not work, but it is certainly for me.

  • Send the message under the sign of the Subscriber in the menu

After a Subscriber signature in the unit, he or she has the option to send the message by pressing 2. The pulse is «...» Spell out the name and then... »

Is it possible to change not only this prompt, but also the search option to be the FIRST and LAST name? Please notify. Thank you very much.

You can change the option of spelling first/last name on the page of conversation for the Subscriber of the SA (or they can do for themselves by APC) - you can also change this for users to Edit en mass in bulk if you wish.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to delete the message

My granddaughter has sent me a message an image and and a voice message. It was one of those who have been passed several times. I'm unable to remove the message. If I go in the menu and select "delete prior" for a given date, all messages for that date will delete except for the message that I've referenced. Does anyone have any suggestions that I could continue?

Try pulling the battery: when the device is turned on, remove the battery, wait 1 minute and turn the battery on the device.

And after that try to delete the message.

  • The Inbox in the mail application does not all the messages that I can see through the Web browser

I have a similar problem with the Mail application on Surface 2. Inbox does not all the messages that I can see through the Web browser. I chose E-mail download of any time in the account settings. But when it sync randomly takes messages in the Inbox to display. I uninstalled the app, restarted the Surface and again installed in the Windows store. But the problem remains. It's frustrating. I think the app is not fully developed.

His works now. I did the sync and other things with no results. Then I noticed that my missing messages are somehow appearing in the file of the Newsletter. Then, I moved all the messages in the Newsletter folder in Inbox and unchecked it parameters. It's working now. There are apparently some bugs in the software that allows for the Newsletter to divert messages. In any case thanks for checking.
