  • Question about the ports used by subdaemons

    We use a direct access, no client server, with TT 6.0.4. TT is installed with port 16200. We see the subdaemons using ports such as

    32814 timestensubd
    timestensubd 32818
    timestensubd 32820
    32822 timestensubd

    Is there anyway to configure which ports are in use? SE not in 6.0.4, and then in version 7.0.5 which we will use in the future?

    'public' solves it.  So my advice: 'public' set with an ACL restricting EHT nodes only.

  • Two questions for the community

    Question #1:

    So I have a laptop ASUS. And whenever he wakes up from his sleep (back cover), the image appears, however, that I had to wait a few seconds before I can drag up from the lock screen (2-3 seconds). So I wonder what he's slowing down

    I'm just guessing, but I think the delay is probably Kaspersky Internet Security 2013.

    Displays the command prompt you see may be related to Kaspersky, commissioning, or possibly some drivers reload after sleep... Internet connection possible.

  • Question about the photo (using the folders and Photos app)

    I am new on the app Photos - aperture used briefly but never really liked. I used to manage/sort all my photos with simple folders on the hard drive. Now, I would like to move the direction of the Photos app.

    A few questions:

    1.) if I add images, are they duplicated on my hard drive when I import them from Photos?

    2.) how to delete images permanently? I need to do a cleanup, which is easier in the Photos. If I delete the images here (and also delete the "recently deleted" album), why they remain in their original on my hard drive folder?

    1 - Yes by default which is highly recommended, as was the case with iPhoto you then delete the photo source since it is safe in the library

    2 - pictures works just like iPhoto - nothing outside the library is not affected by what you do in the application - see 1

  • Unable to see "Tags panel" under the Navigation using Acrobata 8 Standard Panel

    Never work with adobe acrobat. However, now all PDFs must be 508 compliance. I've done a few tutorials and it seems simple, however, I'm unable to see the sign tags in the Navigation panel. I use Acrobata 8 and Windows XP. Any suggestion on why I can't see the tags panel.

    sqlplus / as sysdba
    worked very well for the Oracle server. When I go to a client, it does not work even if I specify the correct instance. On the client, I can able to connect using one of these two commands:

or 

sqlplus.exe sys/abc123@dbca as sysdba

but not

sqlplus / as sysdba

or 

sqlplus /@dbca as sysdba
    The question is: is the form "/ as sysdba" limited to used on the Oracle server and not available for customers?

  • HP7612: Unable to print double-sided of the ipad or iphone to HP 7612

    Buy new HP 7612 large format printer and connected to the WiFi network at home.  Discovered that I can print two-sided PC, but cannot print two-sided to devices on the same network (iPad and iPhone).  Printing with printer device iOS is located and double faces and black only options are available.  When I select print alone.  When I select double-sided is it print the device but the printer does nothing.  I wish I could print the iOS devices double-sided forms to save paper.  Please notify.

    Understand this myself.  Had to go to printing on the screen of the printer and update the software of the printer.  Printer downloaded the new software and rebooted and one that he reconnected to the network that I could print in double face of ipad and iphone.

  • Question about the possible use of MSVC 2008 Express as an external compiler CVI 9.0

    I was looking for these messages looking for information on the use of the ICB with external compilers, especially from MSVC 2008, and I came across this ad are about 4 months:

    The title of this announcement means that the freely downloadable 'express' version of MSVC can be used with CVI 9.0, but the body of the message is not in the details.  But I would really like to know if this is possible, and I'm guessing there are others here who could be very interested as well.  Page 8 of the CVI 9.0 release notes does not indicate that the Express version is supported, which makes sense.  I say this because I always thought that "express" versions of the MSVC were only to create .NET applications (C + c++ / CLI) and applications not native to Windows.  Or does change with the release of MSVC 2008 Express?

    If you have a CVI 9.0 FDS(I'm not sure about the BDS)

    Select Options/Build Options

    Select the Select button to the right of 'compiler active'.

    Click 'new' to create a new configuration of external compiler

    Select MSVC 9.0 as a model.

    Choose a configuration name (what you choose to CVI) and a destination file (where the external compiler settings will be stored).

    Click OK

    After that, you can easily select the optimizing level and the level of warnings that you need through the "Edit" in the box "compile to realease configuration.

  • VISTA HOME PREMIUM 32 BIT PROBLEM - UNABLE TO LOAD PROGRAMS OR BROWSE THE NET__ (USING WINDOWS 6.0 AND I.E.8 - SKILL LEVEL, BEGINNER)

    My computer has suddenly decided to stop loading programs.  As it happened, my mouse in the right hand by clicking the ability disappeared.  The toolbar at the top of the screen works differently and will not help load, the dropdown under FILE no longer exists, the drop-down list under TOOLS decreased by only 2 items, (POP UP BLOCKER AND SMART SCREEN FILTER) and INTERNET OPTIONS no longer appears.  The internet is a mess, especially with whatever it is when dealing with photos.  I used to be able to click on many photos and expand in doing so.  No longer.  I used to be able to right click on a photo that has produced a menu drop down includes SAVE AS but no more.  If I can get a web page to the top at all, it cannot be browsed.  Although the web page shows "life" nothing cannot be engaged on the screen by clicking on its characteristics.  Earlier this week, I could load games like SOLITAIRE, but even the game features were incomplete.  That game normally has some features TIP link in the upper left of the page of the game but who went and now it will not load even upward.  One of the last messages that I had was the one who said, "AN ERROR IS PREVENTING the STARTING PHOTO GALLERY VIEWER WINOWS."  A message that I had before I told him, ' COULD NOT CREATE THE SCHEDULED TASK for THE FOLLOWING REASON: THE REQUEST IS NOT supported 0 X 80070032.»  I recently tried to load OPEN OFFICE.ORG and it could not load the displayed computer ERROR 1935.  He also says, "HRESULT 0 X 80070091".  I don't think that I will be able to access the Microsoft Forum for any answers that might come my way so I would be VERY VERY happy if someone could answer my e-mail address that, for now, still works: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy *.  Thank you for taking the time.  Best regards, CharlieChanFan

    Hello! I'm new to Robohelp; much more familiar with Doc-to-Help!

    If I have an existing Word document (say 100 pages), which is the process and the effort required to apply a Robohelp template and adjust if necessary to generate Webhelp based?

    2. update the styles of the content, if necessary
    3. generating help
    4. any other thing?

    Yes, both versions can produce webhelp but HR HTML allows you to present the things you can't do in HR for Word. See Twisties on my site for example.

    You will also better get HTML HTML HR who, while you are a beginner can bother you, it will probably be later.

    Another reason to go with HR HTML is that it is more popular and better supported in these forums. If you hit a problem with HR for Word, you can not get responses too these days.

    Now let's look at your work scenario. As Colum as said, you can generate a printed document HR HTML for your small business. Any document that you give them, you do not want to import. Instead you're going to make the changes yourself then what version you use becomes academic.

    Output print suggests not HR for Word. See the section on my site about printed Documentation. Which is written for RH HTML and yet once again, control is better, yes the better.

    Given your knowledge of Word, I understand your desire to remain in his comfort zone. I was even initially but Rick Stone (Robowizard on these forums) have convinced me that this was not the best way. Of course, you're in for a few sorrows, but everyone here will help you.     Hello. We do not have this feature more in javafx2.0. Instead, in javafx 2.0, you can use the java REST API.
    You can do an HTTP (get, post, put, delete) using this API.
