Undo the deletion of images?

I accidentally deleted a large number of photos on my microSD with this phone. These pictures were very, very important to me and I was wondering if there is any way to recover them? One of them will exercise again my wallpaper, which leads me to believe that the files are still in the phone somewhere, I don't know how to find them.

I had a similar problem a while ago I used a program that cost me $29 photosrecovery.com.

There is also a free program called recuva

    But my question is:

    I have pictures in the photo I've arranged in folders with several albums within a folder.  When I import spikes to I photo I then run my software to catch the duplicates.

    When I delete the duplicates I creates the opportunity to remove the image filed under albums?  Or will the image stored on an album simply cling to double not deleted?

    When I delete the duplicates I creates the opportunity to remove the image filed under albums?  Or will the image stored on an album simply cling to double not deleted?

    When you delete a photo in your iPhoto library, it will be deleted throughout the library.  It will be removed by the events, the album of faces, all albums, smart albums or projects that use this picture.

    Photos in albums or projects will not be replaced by pictures duplicate similar in the library.

  • How to recover the deleted file / images?

    I removed (not deleted) a folder of edited images. I see DNG files on my external hard drive. How can I get back them and put back them in my catalog? When I try to import the dialog says there aren't any files/images. Can I recover the versions published ?

    Open the backup catalog, select the image and do a file > export as catalog, leaving the negatives and previews options unchecked.

    Save this temporary catalog to your desktop, then. Open your main catalog and do a file > import from another catalog. Lightroom will now add temporary catalog - the missing DNG - information to your catalogue.

    This method brings in all the work that has been in the backup catalog.

  • Is there a way to prevent the deletion of a file during CHECKIN services?

    My scenario: I am creating a service that takes the current latest revision and creates a new one, using the same metadata and content. I'm almost done. The lack total that when I called the service (CHECKIN_SEL) the file whose path I provided in the parameter primaryFile:path is deleted. Of course, I can create a copy in the ~ temp directory, but I would rather prevent deletion. I have also observed that the log contains a line:

    (internal) / 6...    Files to remove: /app/domains/content/ucm/cs/vault/document/2001.zip

    I tried to analyze the service and I found the intradoc.server.DocServiceHandler.addFiles () method. This method calls another method, deleteFilesInDeleteList, in which the files appear to be deleted. It is, however, also an event filter, preDeleteFilesInDeleteList, triggered. So I created a filter code to undo the deletion, if certain conditions are met. The code looks as follows:

    public int doFilter (workspace workspace, DataBinder dataBinder,
    ExecutionContext executionContext) throw DataException,
    ServiceException {}
    BinderSnifferFilter.traceVerbose ("PreDeleteFilesFilter");
    Vector v = SharedObjects.getOptList ("dontdelete");
    If (v == null) {}
    return 0;
    }
    String prevID = dataBinder.getLocal ("prevID");
    If (v.contains (prevID)) {}
    BinderSnifferFilter.traceVerbose (prevID + "is confined (-1)" ");
    ((Map) executionContext.getCachedObject ("lockedIDsList")) .put (prevID, "1");
    Returns - 1;
    }
    BinderSnifferFilter.traceVerbose (prevID + "is not confined (0)" ");
    return 0;
    }

    Tracing orders help to confirm that the filter returns-1, I also found this thread:Re: what event of java filter is to remove which mentions the updated object cache of lockedIDsList .

    However, none of this seems to prevent deletion.

    I also tried to find a class that adds the "" files to remove: ' message in the log, without success. "

    Finally, I tried to lock the file by changing the owner/group/permissions in the file system. Curiously, the service has failed (the system could not read during CHECKIN), but in the end, the file has been deleted in any case.

    have you tried to change binder.m_tempFiles? You should be able to change the vector before cleaning module is called.

    Note: I have not tried...

    Click on an image and the successive images to press the SHIFT, or command key by clicking on the image to add it to the selection. Then Ctrl-click (tap two fingers) on any icon and choose to put in the trash. If the icons are in an easily selectable column or online, you can click on the window that contain, and then drag around them for a multiple selection.

    Yes, you can remove the file from the imported image, if you have imported the image as managed.  IE preferences in ave Photos settled on "import: copy items to the photo library" being the default.

    You keep a copy of your old folder from catalog PSE10 somewhere? It is often possible to get a usable conversion by creating a new folder from catalog containing only the database file 'catalog.pse10db '. Who restores the keywords, ratings, the batteries of legends and notes, not version games or albums.

  • How to delete an image without deleting the layer?

    I consider myself an intermediate photoshop user. Since the introduction of the CS6, I can't do something simple - remove an image without deleting the layer. I don't want the deleted layer because it has a clipping mask. The tech support agent told me to use the Eraser tool. It is not effective. Is there a way to do this? I don't understand why it is now so complicated. I'm so frustrated.

    Has CTRL or cmd to select all, and then press the delete key. Just make sure that the layer is selected first.

  • Deletion of images when the external drive is disconnected.

    I shared my images between the local storage and 2 TB external hard drive.  If I delete a picture when the external drive is not connected it will erase the image next time the reader is turned on?  If this isn't the case, I guess I'll have images that are not in the catalog more on external hard drive if it was not connected when I press DELETE.  Thank you. Ian.

    Hi IanLivesey

    Lightroom keeps a catalogue of your pictures stored somewhere on the network no disc. If you delete an image you can delete in the catalog or the catalog and physically. To remove an image physically physical storage must be fixed.

    If you only remove the images from the catalog, they will remain on your hard drive. You can remove these images subsequently with the tools of the operating system.

    Kind regards

  • Deletion of images of the catalogue and the hard drive during a Collection.

    I have problems with deleting images in the catalog and hard at the same time in a Collection and I would like some advice on the best way to do it.

    It seems that there is no problem of deletion of images in folder mode - this is mostly what I do - but quite often, I'll see the images after that that they were put in a Collection.  Then I'll find one I want to remove from the Collection, the catalog and the hard drive and I have trouble identifying the means to do so.

    I can remove it from the Collection, but then I have to find the image in the folder or use the option all of the photographs of the find.

    So, I tried to use the flag rejected, but it's only local to the Collection - in other words if you find the folder or use all photographs and filter for rejected it does not show.

    The only thing that seems to work, so far, is to give a colored flag and then go to all the pictures and the filter on the color.  It seems long-term for me, then, are there other ways that I'm missing.

    CTRL + Shift + Alt + Delete (now it's a shortcut!) - removes from anywhere.

  • What is happening in the original file of the photo when I import it in Photos and I have the "Delete after import" box checked?

    What is happening in the original file of the photo when I import it in Photos and I have the "Delete after import" box checked?

    When organizing photos for Photos for Mac app, I find that the Photos makes "copies" of files within the library of Photos and must reference a file if your settings are such that you do not copy the original files in the Photos app.

    Trying to manage the disk space for the Macbook Pro.

    The delete after import is available only when you import a device - a camera, card, an iPhone, but not when you import files from a folder on the system drive.

    You can delete the local image files of your system drive yourself, once you have imported the Photos and they were copied in the photo library.

    I would never use the option "delete after Import. The files will be deleted until you can check if the files have been imported correctly. If you find out later, that some of the imported files are corupted and illegible, it will be repeated o toolate import, because the files have been deleted from the device. Or worse, if pictures should plant a reason any during the import, all the pictures will be lost, if you have enabled "delete after import.

  • What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7?

    What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7? I want to remove the icon from the task bar (toolbar in the lower right corner of the screen) that I never use it.

    Picardjc wrote that "Digital imaging monitor is part of the HP software that communicates with your HP printer. This program allows to read the inklevels, get an out of paper message, scan from the device to the computer and so on. It is not necessary, but it will restrict the use of printers if you delete. "Understood. But for my printer HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a, what is the purpose of having the digital imaging monitor icon in the taskbar Windows7 sp1 of the Notification area (aka system tray)? My A809a is NOT an all-in-one that includes a scanner; It is simply a very good printer. When I start to print something, if you need ink or paper, that information is displayed on the screen of my computer. So I ask again: why is the icon of monitor digital imaging on the taskbar? I clicked on at the time of this icon (I not print anything, but as usual, the printer is turned on), and nothing happened. R.N. (Roger) Folsom _ P.S. below I'll post some other discussions (with links to their locations) of the digital imaging monitor, I discovered before finding this site on which I am writing. There are a variety of opinions on what makes the digital imaging monitor. HP Digital Imaging Monitor is for HP director system tray access. This is necessary if you want to use the buttons of all-in-one on a HP printer all in one to scan documents or transfer photos from a camera manually. Closing the icon monitor HP digital imaging in the Windows system tray can cause the HP all-in-one to lose part of its scanning features and not the connection error message. In this case, you can restore all functionality by restarting the computer or by starting the HP digital imaging monitor. [Edited] 03/08/2011 14:05 - edited? 03/08/2011 14:08 Yes, it is safe to remove. In my view, it is usually in the program group under start / all programs / startup. Simply navigate under the Start button, right-click on it and delete! If it is not there, then remove it from the registry: run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete it from the list in the right pane. If she is not there, then try hkey_current_user\\software\\microsoft\\windows\\currentversion\\run it's better than using msconfig and uncheck it. In my opinion, msconfig must always be set to Normal startup. Your printer will always print without that annoying obstructive utility called Digital Imaging Monitor. Ciao! • You can undo a deletion in iBooks pdf

    Somehow everything playing with iBooks PDF on my iPhone 6Plus, I thought that I chose a single PDF file to select but removed all the PDF files. Any ideas on how to restore these and get them back?

    Thank you

    You can't "undo a deletion" in iBooks on the device itself.

    Source PDF files? If they came from the iBook Store, you can simply download their new from there that they will remain in your shopping forever (or as long as Apple keeps their on their server)

    If they have been downloaded via one source other than the iBook Store, they are deleted probably for good, and you will still find somewhere on the internet.

    They may still be in your iTunes library if you sync your iDevice iTunes.
