  It should be relatively simple to add an option to the installer to bypass verification of Hyper-V (and then use the uninstall option command in the seat).

  1. At the command prompt, type the following:
     bcdedit /copy {default} /d "No hypervisor".
  2. The above command should say: the entry has been copied successfully to {guid}. Copy the guid to the Clipboard, including the braces.

     bcdedit/set {guid_hvoff} off hypervisorlaunchtype
     In the above command, replace {guid_hvoff} with what you copied in step 2. The command above simply sets a property in the boot entry that will not load the hypervisor at startup.

  I'm likely to have problems if I let the older CS4 applications on my PC, or should I uninstall them, and if so what is the best way to go about this?

  You can safely uninstall CS4 products for this, you can use Add and remove program on your windows entries to remove these products.

  Different versions operate independently, so deactivate CS3 has no effect on the CS5.5. However, the uninstall don't - it lmess wil to associations of files and the shared components. So the only way to do is to uninstall everything, then only reinstall CS5.5.

  Hi, Shada, this can happen if you include additional installers to your installer for example DAQmx. When you do this the installation program must include other files like MAX (Measuremente and Automation Explorer). Probably when you installed Vision Builder he updated MAX, so when your Installer try to understand MAX, his request the source where it was installed in your computer in this case Vision Builder.

  Here you can cache information so it is not asked once again, or you can download a version more recent fo DAQmx, then it will update MAX and change the dependecy.

• Firefox crashes after installing 29,0

  I installed 29,0 early Saturday morning (10/05/14) before the 29.0.1 patch has been published. Even after 29.0.1. installed himself, he continued to be planted after 1-2 minutes. I couldn't even keep it long enough to generate reports of crash and never had the crash report dialog box.

Being desperate, I decided to try to restart some services and on the top 10. I started to receive messages one by one that said that a service could not be restarted because of bad software from a facility (no surprise).
  
  I gave up and tried to restart Firefox again. This time, he stayed up! So, I tried to find the grave down for 5/10. There is NOT! Apparently, the program did not stay up long enough to generate and save a report of crash in the usual way.

  I went to the directory of App Data\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash reports and found two reports of incidents for 5/10. They were not in the subfolders 'pending' or 'subject '. However, when I tried to copy them to another folder, they disappeared.

  Here is the list of "All reports of incidents." No multiple accidents which took place may 10 after installing 29,0 appear here. Apparently, the browser works so badly that it has not yet generated incident reports.

  Finally, I saved my favorites and uninstalled Firefox completely. Then I installed the 28. It has not crashed, more. Then I upgraded to 29.0.1, and now it seems OK.
  
  But, why did I have to go through all that? That the average user could do that? N °

Deleting localstore.rdf did not, but delete ALL the .sqlite files in the same folder worked a treat: I guess that by forcing a rebuild of the .sqlite files and a back-up JSON. And give back me my obsessive system complex folder in the bookmarks bar. So thanks for putting me on the right path.

  Short description of the problem: the Thunderbolt ports inactive, but connected on OSX

  The problem:

  Following a recommendation of a "COMPUTER technician", I installed the demo of Little Snitch.

  After installing it, nothing worked, no internet, nothing.  Since it's a tool like Firewall, I started to change the configuration of this tool, but nothing helped.

If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then re-run first aid until no errors are reported. Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

  Now, download and reinstall OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 Combo Update.
