  I am running windows xp.  I have a multitude of programs that won't run.  This seems to be the result of stopping some services or changing a property in the management of the computer.  Backup and restore are not running at all, not even an error since the desk top.  Internet Explorer will not work.  CPP will not start.  .Net runtime op... will not turn on, start, or view properties.  None of the computer management services show the properties.   Not active album or start or display properties.  net port sharing. TCP will not allow, start or display properties.  Network DDE will not activate the starting or display properties.  Reduced programs do not display the taskbar.  1068 and 1058 errors disk logic Server Management error.  Msconfig does not solve this problem not start in safe mode.  How can I fix this computer?

• Impossible to change/repair/uninstall srm service 6.1

  I made a mistake during the initial installation of MRS. on two servers.  I was able to uninstall and reinstall on a single server by uninstalling SRM, then uninstall the database shipped successfully.  On the second server, I made the mistake of uninstalling the database shipped before uninstalling the SRM service.

  Service change/repair/uninstall 6.1 SRM now all fail.

  I am able to make it a bit further when I change, I get my credentials administrator, virtual center of name, however I'm stuck here since the back-end database has already been deleted:

  

  So basically, I can see no way forward and not the way back.  I could just deploy a new virtual machine and install RS on it from scratch, but I'm afraid that if I try to connect to my vCenter that it won't work because there is already a server MRS associated with it.

  How can I remove this gracefully and safely?  Except for a graceful uninstall, how can I force it?

  I want first of all to the point you this is documented in SRM 6.1 "do not uninstall the database of Site Recovery Manager before uninstalling Site Recovery Manager." (Site Recovery Manager 6.1 Documentation Center -Section 11).

  Workaround is:

  1. remove the old DSN old Embedded DB. (Make a note of the DSN parameters: username, password, name of the comic)

  2. install Embedded DB and create new DSN with the same values as the former. (You can find vPostgres install files in the temp folder after extraction of SRM - % Temp%\{88654B50-D147-44FA-9A1F-EFAAD980C428}\VMware-SRM-Postgres)

  3. start SRM change and uninstall SRM. Do not check the box "delete given RS.

  4 SRM must be uninstalled successfully.

  5 uninstall Embedded DB server and delete the DSN for her.

  6. install the SRM with Embedded DB pointing to the old Victoria Cross. (Warning will appear that the extension of the SRM is already registered. You must choose to crush it).

  After that everything works without any problem.

  I have a very big problem with HP Connection Manager 4 on several Windows 7 laptops. The program is installed on about 250 laptop computers and some of them drive me crazy. Everything was fine until some point (I'm not quite sure, that could be after the installation of SP1, Win7), the connection manager has decided to stop working on some machines. Whenever I try to start it, it takes a long time to load until the following message is displayed:

  "HPConnectionManager.exe - fatal error '.

  HP Connection Manager service has stopped responding. Quit and restart the application.

  A fatal error occurred, check the HP connection manager in the event viewer for more details.

  Recovery of the factor of COM class for the component with CLSID {24DB46C8-C842-4E91-9AC4-8A9525A5551D} failed due to the following error 80080005. »

  I tried the following on one of these books:

  -Start the service manually: "Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly."

  -Msconfig: Removed any connection associated with Autostart Manager

  -Reinstall the HP connection manager

  -Repair HP Connection Manager

  -Reinstall .NET 3.5

  -Changed some regkeys

  -Install Microsoft Hotfix KB2519740 which is part of the system essential updates for Microsoft Windows 7 (that I can't download because there is a server error)

  -(pour la plupart) HP Probook 6550 b

  -Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, SP1 (English and German MUI)

  -HP 4.1.22.1 Connection Manager

  The only thing that really works is to reinstall the laptop with the image with which we install all of them. HP connection manager is installed as a software later so I don't understand why a reinstall is successful.

  I'm really tired of this problem, and I have a few unhappy customers on my back, so if you have any suggestions for me, please help.

  Try to run Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager in Services. See the steps below:

  1. Click Start
  2. Right click on computer
  3. Select Manage
  4. Select Services and Applications
  5. Select Services
  6. Right-click on the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager
  7. Select Properties
  8. Use the drop-down list of Startup type to Automatic
  9. Select apply
  10. Click OK

  If it is a recent issue, you can use System Restore to restore your computer to a point before the show. Also, check out the site of the manufacturer to ensure that you have the most recent video/graphics/display card driver installed.
