  For the year and day, I use my own settings custom keyboard, a layout Avid slightly changed in Premiere Pro. I have always kept and saved the .kys file. It is dated all the way back to CS3 and I used it (in WIndows) up to 5 CS.

  Now, I have a Mac with CS 5.5, but a few things annoy me:

  
  

  -If I want to import my .kys file, where to place them? For CS5 in Windows 7, its \users\somename\appdata\roaming\adobe\premiere.0. I have no idea for a similar place on my Mac.

  
  

  -More importantly, I can't create a good based predefined work based on Avid. As I have the map keys zoom in the sequence (up and down), it does not work and only jumps around the screen previous and next in my sequence instead of zoom! Any other combination of keys works, including the FN + arrow, with the exception of using the keys! Thid moved not on CS5 on my windows machine.

  It is possible that the Mac version does not use the file extensions for these files - it's a common Mac thing.

  I went to the keyboard shortcuts and then sequences > zoom in, Zoom out. I traced the up and down keys for them. If I select my current sequence I work in and try to zoom with the newly mapped keys, nothing happens, but still, he jumps at a later stage in the timeline panel.

  This is precisely why. I don't know how Premiere Pro sets priority to different commands, but obviously, if these commands are defined, they override the desired behavior that you assigned above. The solution is simple: go to panels > panel mounting (or just search "screen") and delete the shortcuts to the next screen and view a previous screen (or assign other keyboard shortcuts), like this:

  

  Once you do that the up and down keys as assigned by Application > sequence > in/out Zoom will work as you like.

  FWIW, I don't think that this qualifies as a bug; It is simply a question of something having priority / take precedence over anything else. Hope that works for you.

• First Pro CC can not find media Cash, then freezes at startup

  I try to run first Pro CC on a Mac Pro OS 10.10.13.  When I run the first I get an error indicating that the Cache of media is not found.  I click OK and the window "Welcome to first...". "appears.  I can start a new project, but then crashes right first, with a white blank, floating window.

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall first Pro CC, restart, and setting read/write permissions on folders of Adobe in my library and Documents directories without success - I get the same result everytime I try to launch the program.

  When in the Finder, click go > go to folder > ~/Library/Application Support and rename the Adobe OldAdobefolder.

  Then run the program and see if the same error occurs.

  I started to program frequent crashes in first Pro CC 2014.2 Mac OS 10.10.3 on my Mac Pro 2013. This problem occurs when I switch to another program, say word or Adobe Audion back to Premiere Pro. I have the dialog box "we're sorry" and the application breaks down. About 50% of the time when this happens - when I reopen it the application that it hangs again - and then on the 2nd re - open it is successful. It's really annoying my workflow to worry about a crash whenever I have spend in AE or hearing. I uninstalled all the plugins, uninstalled and re-installed PP, erased the media cache and reset the preferences. Happening every day on this machine. FYI, I have an iMac 2013 running the same operating system that opened the same project files without this issue - it seems that it is specific to this machine for some reason any...

• Adobe first pro does not present as an application installed creative cloud

  I'm not able to update adobe first pro CC 2015 to 2015.2 because the first pro app does not present as an application registered in creative cloud. It is not even appear as an application that I can download.

  I followed the instructions of the two links below, but niether resolved my problem. I even uninstalled all my applications adobe, including adobe creative cloud app, app cc restarted/re-booted and re-installed adobe and it still will not display the last premiere pro version to install. Cc Adobe shows that first pro 2014. Because I uninstalled first pro cc 2015 and it does not appear in the application of cc adobe, I can't install first pro so I'm stuck with no way to change my current projects.

  I have tried both of these solutions and niether worked:

  Verification of case notes, I found the real solution so that others can see.

  1. Checked the compatibility mode of creative cloud. It can be set to the wrong operating system. If it is incompatible, you won't see the applications.
  2. Uncheck the box compatibility and revive CC Desktop App
  3. You should now see the applications

  I couldn't find the Colorista file for some reason any. I looked at red giant through Finder (the company that manufactures the Colorista) and there was an application uninstall program they provide. In this App Uninstaller was able to uninstall the Application Colorista. After uninstalling, everything works fine.  Thanks for the help guys!

  So, I don't remember exactly why, but I deleted the folder of Premiere Pro CS6 and emptied my Recycle Bin. I'm on a Mac and I was wondering how can I go about uninstalling first because the uninstall program has been in the CS6 folder. Creating cloud also said, it is up to date, so there is no way I can reinstall it again. You can help a brother.

  If you're on a MAC (one of the more recent operating system) it's kinda in a weird place > go to your Applications folder > utilities > Adobe Installers and you should find all the "uninstall programs" it... just click on what you need, but if you uninstall Premiere Pro CS6 (and do NOT want to uninstall AGAIN) remember to deselect in the Uninstall list!
