Unit Testing C++ plug-ins

Hello

This can be an incredibly stupid question, because I'm not terribly famous (I used JUnit test before and that's all).

I wrote a plug-in for Acrobat X Pro in C++ using Visual Studio 2010 and would like to know if it is possible to use to exercise my unit tests code.

I think it should be a non-standard method of doing a suite of tests from the plugin must operate within acrobat (as opposed to being autonomous) in order to work or have data, functions, parameters, return values, no sense at all.

I think that this could be done by exposing my profile in OLE automation or whatever that would allow an external program control my plug-in.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

You could certainly integrate with all of the different unit tests

frames BUT you must write the code that 'start' as

well within your plugin and provide the user API to do.

My test page detects your plugins:

    https://jeffersonscher.com/RES/plugins.html

We prefer that you can use to hide the sites plugins that use collections of them to list. To see if this setting has been customized:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the enum and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) if the preference plugins.enumerable_names is in bold and 'game of the user' to something other than its value default * (which means 'everything') then that would explain why the sites that verify the collection of plugins do not see plug-ins are not not in this value preferably.

  • I've successfully installed Adobe Flash Player, but I do not see it in m's list of Plug-Ins

According to the Adobe Test Page, I installed the plugin Flash Player successfully, but I don't see that the Flash Player listed in my plug-ins.

I noticed that Adobe Reader and Adobe Shockwave Flash but not Adobe Flash Player.

Why is it not this plugin appear?

(Adobe) Shockwave Flash is the Flashplayer plugin. You have version 11.1 installed r102, which is the latest version. Adobe is responsible for the name, not Mozilla.

Do not confuse Flashplayer with "Adobe/Macromedia Shockwave player" that is an old, but still used, product. Adobe is responsible for confusion, not Mozilla. Shockwave player (which, it seems, you have not installed), would show under your Plugins as "Shockwave for Director. There are links to information about both products here-> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Adobe_Flash_software

  • Plug-ins disabled. Once again. Really?

Not a pure 'stop' in itself, but I couldn't find a better place to get the message.

It is the third in a row, at level of major version of Mozilla that broke the existing plug-ins. While I realize that there are "few" to update the plugin engine to allow better usability, better security and (theoretically) better management of memory/system resources, it is absurd. Honestly, this is the last massive update for Firefox, I use, at all, if it goes in V7. There is probably no perceptible change to the basic user, other than boredom, growing deep and infinite. Indeed, since the R4, I had problems with the Google toolbar. A product since then, they have opted for lower development, as reiterated in no small part because of these changes. You can list for me the specific code changes that were absolutely * necessary * for these future updates that caused the toolbar become too much work for the support of Google?

I realize this is a free product and you have actually taken in charge of the only user. I can say, however, that I tried to repel the gripes and complaints, and some other friends of mine after having "sworn" FF for years. If this continues, I happily switch to Chrome support instead and not look back.

Hello and sorry your add-ons is not not compatible with new versions of Firefox.

Most of the modules don't need any changes updated Firefox; developers just need to test them and mark them compatible with the new version. For the modules distributed by Mozilla, compatibility testing is performed automatically. However, the modules distributed by other means need to be updated by their developers for each version. We cannot force the developers to do this, but we are working on ways to make it easier. We know that it is a major problem for many users.

Many modules such as the Google toolbar were not actually broken by Firefox 5 or 6 and actually will work correctly if you select them with the Add-on Compatibility Reporter. But given that Google has stopped maintaining their toolbar, you might be interested in this list of modules taken in charge that can be replaced.

How to record down version Cloud Creative InDesign CS5? Exported as a file .idml but still the messages that plug-ins are missing, although CS5 confirms it is fully updated.

Yes. Thank you. I based on another post misled. Successfully done this by selecting 'File', 'save a copy... ". "then choosing"for CS4 or later (IDML).

He had little patience and several tests, but I think it was because of hardware (memory) overloaded version CC cloud or something. It was a 50 MB, file of 500 pages and took 17 minutes to convert/save,

Recap: dnuee to CS5, do not use "Export" (IDML); use ' Save as ' or 'Save a copy' and select "for CS4 or later (IDML).

    Advice much appreciated.

  • Help the SkillBuilders Plug-Ins integration

    Hi all

I have the following situation and I thank you for any help regarding this (Apex version 4.1.1.00.23):

I have a Page with the plug-in of the SB calendar, when the user clicks on the button Create Event , a pop-up modal page with a form that allows the user to enter an event using the agenda of plug-ins. Once created, the modal page closes, and the calendar is updated with the event. This part works very well.

My problem is with the following situation: when you click in an event on the calendar, I want to be able to open the same modal page with details of the event to allow the user to modify.

I tried to define a class in my calendar application and specified URL with the event details Page. also, created a dynamic of Action is triggered when the class is clicked (scope: live) and open the modal, but what he does instead:
    1. The Modal Page opens empty, and immediately
    2. The complete page is redirected to the Event Details Page with the information of the Event.
I created an example on apex.oracle.com:

    Workspace: EDIAZJORGE
    User name: TEST
    Password: test
    Application: 34925 - event calendar

Yet once again, I appreciate any help!

    Thanks and regards,

    Erick

I swear to you, I always forget about this... The area of calendar is updated when it is closed. Oops.
So I had to change the dynamic action "join modal...» "'page loading' to 'after refresh" on the calendar area. The real action must also have 'Fire on page load' checked!

  • Extensions Manager remove all the Plug-ins folder as well as the Panel

When I click on 'Remove' the extensions Manager interface, the following has occurred-

In CS6 - when I used the extensions Manager to 'delete' by clicking on the button 'delete', it removes not only the Panel, I installed but deleted the folders ' Plug-ins > panels > my Panel. The whole of the hierarchy!

In CS5 - he left the Plug-ins folder, but deleted "panels > my Panel.

In CS4 - Extension Manager works correctly for ask and drop without removing all of the shell folders.

Question #1 - what I do on my plug-ins missing for these applications? This is a disaster!

Is question #2 - possible not to delete files from the shell, when you're just trying to remove a custom panel to fix the CS5 and CS6 Extension Manager?

    My system:

    Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
    Service Pack 2
Processor Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 @3 CPU. 00 GHz
    RAM memory (RAM) 8.00 GB
    System 64 - bit

    Z: 1 terabyte - 309 GB available

Yes, I think you got it. Here is a link to show you my not living in a video.

As I started to do the MXP files and try to test the Panel, my Photoshop stops working (hangs) after a few minutes, too. Has never done this before when I manually just copied and pasted the chopsticks of model file in the folder of the panels.

  • Code signing Mac Plug-Ins?

    Hi people,

Anyone has any information or experience about whether or not, a developer must code sign the Mac plug-ins, it creates? Will be a cause of plugin not signed all the problems with the Gatekeeper of Mountain Lion settings when a user installs?

I have not had the time to install and test the beta version of Mountain Lion (that I'll eventually do it when I get some time), so I don't know if the signature makes a difference. I think that is not necessary for the plug-ins sign code because earlier versions of ID are not signed, but I'm not sure of what the consequeces of the no code signature could be.

I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with Xcode installed 3.2.6, and I used the command line tool "codesign" against a plug-in ID CS6 created Adobe. I get 'code or signature modified' returned. Which means, in my view, that the plugin was signed code, but somehow got modifed since the signing. Running against the ID CS3 app, it tells me that it is not signed (which makes sense, since it was released before Leopard).

    Here's what I did:

    Codesign - dvvv "/ Applications/Adobe InDesign CS6/Plug-Ins/layout page/alignment Panel.InDesignPlugin.

    and got this result:

    / Applications/Adobe InDesign CS6/Plug-Ins/layout page/orientation Panel.InDesignPlugin: code or signature modified

Opinions, comments, suggestions, etc. are welcome

    Thank you!

  • Plug-ins needed for SMP target users

No Strobe Media Playback plug-ins are available for the SMP target audience.

Introduction Strobe Media Playback presentation says:

Our target audience for Strobe Media Playback and Flash Media Playback is designers, content, business owners, and developers who want to easily start with an out-of-the-box, feature rich media player. Strobe Media Playback allows you to spend more time on creating content that focusing on how to build, or the media player to use.
    ...

So the SMP target audience isn't the Flash developers.
This same presentation said that the target audience includes "bloggers, small business..."
The majority of bloggers and people who build websites Web of small businesses is not devious whatsoever, and still less Flash developers.

Currently the only way to get or to test the plugins SMP is to build from the source.
And examples of plugin included in the download SMP package demonstration pages do not include the file of plugin real makes it impossible to actually complete the demo to work.

So basically no plugins are currently available for the SMP target audience.

Please do plug-ins work available for download.
And some examples or a documentation on how to use them.

Plug-ins and analytical advertising would be a good start.

    Thank you.

    Ken McD

    Hi Ken, Greg and all!

As a result, we have added the MASTPlugin, SMILPlugin, GTrackPlugin, and the YouTubePlugin again as assets sampled (in html-template).

In addition, we have created a special demo page to highlight the YouTubePlugin and the GTrackPlugin here: http://osmf.org/dev/1.5.rc1/youtube-googleanalytics.html

We will document and provide samples to the MASTPlugin and the SMILPlugin then so little time...

Then, we will try to improve the documentation for developers of plugins - in the hope of helping to test and document their configuration of plugin for Strobe Media Playback.

Is there anything else you need to do us short and long term?

    Thank you very much!

  • Why Firefox always tells me that Adobe plug-ins must be updated, when I've just updated beyond the versions them says Firefox update?

On the status of the plug-in page, Firefox said I have potentially vulnerable Adobe Flash player c. 19.0.0.185 and should be updated. I have already taken this opinion but Adobe confirms that my version is 19.0.0.226. I ran the update at least twice (and of course I restarted Firefox several times and refreshed the page for good measure). Why Firefox think I always c. 19.0.0.185?

Essentially the same story with Adobe Reader plug-in 15.9.20069.28170. Firefox said I have this outdated version and should be updated. I ran the update at least twice (but unlike with Flash Player I don't know how to confirm that the update is installed). The version that Firefox says I have and advice to update, has not changed.

I've updated two plug-ins yesterday. Immediately after the update, when I refreshed the page status of the plugin, these plug-ins have disappeared from lists "vulnerable" or "outdated". It's only the Adobe Flash Player and Reader plug-in updates (which I did yesterday) that Firefox seems to blind. I waited a day to see if Firefox would recognize the edits today, but it still does not work. On this page of presentation of the question, "Assumptions" of Firefox on my current browser list older versions of Adobe Flash Player and Reader that I've already updated since.

Plugins are installed on the system and not in Firefox. So he can tell you were the same when you installed know that it is usually because you have two system installed an older version of Flash Player.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Windows.html

Maybe try to uninstall all versions of Flash Player (basic plugin) and install the current https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (basic plugin), while Firefox is closed.
