  I would like to open a modal dialog box and change the value of a select list of the modal dialog box. I have to be able to switch the status of the customer value using apex.item("P1_DEPTNO").getValue (). The declarative method to use modal dialog boxes is to use a button and a link to the page, where everything is taken care for us, the value, the checksum for the protection of session state, etc..

  But sometimes we need to go on the side of current customer State the modal page, for example, while we are in the middle of creating a new row in a table... and the value is not yet stored in the database.

  Unfortunately, I get an error internal an error:

  2 request 157 dialog page cannot be returned successfully. If make sure that the template in use on page 2 is the type of model 'Page of dialogue', with the JavaScript dialog initialization appropriate, closing the dialog and dialog box cancel the code defined.

  I do not understand the error message since I use the theme 42 and the handling of the ordinary modal dialog box works.

  Would appreciate advice.

  you're always coming to these requirements of fancy...

  The following has worked for me in Chrome. But to test if it works in any browser.

  1. Describe your button as usual with a link to the page of the dialog box
  2. For example to set items , specify P7_CUSTOMER_ID as the name and ~ CUSTOMER_ID ~ as value. ~ CUSTOMER_ID ~ is our placeholder that will NOT get replaced by APEX. We use it in our JavaScript code.
  3. Set the static ID of your my_button button so that we are able to access in JavaScript
  4. In the run when the Page loads page level attribute, add something like

  The JS code above will replace your reserved space and turn the link into something like

  Obviously, you will not be able to use the Protection of the Session State for the P7_CUSTOMER_ID dialog page item, so you set the page of dialogue level attribute Access Protection Page to the Unrestricted.

  The amount of control that see you in the URL is really just to protect the dialog box itself.

  Anyway is to hide the default calc of the calculation scripts dialog box.  It is visible to users as well, @ and they trigger the calculation.

  Hi JP,

  You cannot remove this option but to avoid the accidental use of the same, you can change the content of the defult calculation script. To do this:

  1. open the Regional service console and go to the database to which you want to change the default script.

  2. right click on the database and go to the value-> default calculation.

  3. replace Calc All; to;

  Now even if someone run this script, nothing will happen...

• Opens the simple dialog box but not palette

  So, I'm new to Scripting InDesign, but being a developer does not make this great not for me.

  In any case, I accumulate ExtendScript Toolkit stuff, and when I run it, it works. But as soon as I run the same script in InDesign CC, then my palette is not displayed.

  Made me dig in and I made 2 very simple scripts. The two scripts works and display a dialog box / palette, when it is running in ExtendScript Toolkit, but only the version dialog box works, when I run it in InDesign CC.

I click ok and everything works fine. I would like to pass it if possible and I must emphasize that everything works perfectly after I get back okay. Any help would be appreciated.

  I am writing a script that allows you to adjust the levels on a single image, and then I have to repeatedly apply these settings on a batch of images specified.

  Is this possible? I figured out how to open and apply the levels but not to save the entered settings.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  Sorry Paul, but I think that you're wrong. The 'adjustment' list should have descriptions for each channel that has been set by the user. These descriptors must have the key for the channel as a referencetype, b/w in a list entry points, exit points black and white as a list and as a double gamma. I think that if these aren't in the descriptor, it is because the user has not changed the default values.

  But what if all you want to do is reapply the same settings later that you don't really need to know what setting were. You simply store the descriptor that contains for later use.

  You will need to use a script.  If your server supports PHP, this will do what you want. Change filename & path to point to your download folder.  SaveAs download.php.

  Place a link on your page parent download.php file.

  I have a PDF page containg 8 pages. There is a button on the first page, print then on some boxes (Page1, Page2... Page8)

  I want to open the print dialog box with already put page numbers in the selection boxes.

  Example: If I checked page 1, Page 4 boxes, print dialog box then should display values Print rang > Pages [1.4]

  That's the problem, you cannot specify a print with gaps range.

  XFA. Host.Print (1, "0", "7", 0, 1, 0, 0, 0);

  The second parameter specifies the start page (based on a system of numbering from zero). '0' will be so printed on page 1 of the form.

  The third parameter specifies the last page to print. So '7' will display the page 8 of the form.

  Here are some of the only solution I can think. Basically, the button opens the test set up dialogue (not the standard print window). This allows the user to select the right printer and settings. Then, the script looks like each page in turn and prints is as a standalone print job. If you look at the print command, you will see that the first parameter is set to '0', it is to print the page without displaying the print dialog. The fourth parameter is now on '1' to prevent the user to cancel the print job. If you look at the help file, you will get a complete description of the print command and all eight parameters.

I want to do the standing still on the window dialog box, so I write codes dialog box creation when the startedup notification message is triggered, but the dialog box crashes before it shows. If I could create a dialog non modal when plugin start up or any place can do that?

  I got hurt also if you try to create a dialogue too soon. I am currently their creation in response to the kAIApplicationStartedNotifier. This seems to do the trick.
