  I'm working on a book of 450-500 pages with 4 chapters, 150 + images full page of text, end and beginning of information (title page, preface, introduction, table of contents, annexes, glossary, end notes).

  A question: same thing if you are working on a single document to create a doc of island new section where you want and adjust the figures. Numbering book will adjust when you synchronize the numbers in the book panel.

  Two Qusruib: put this stuff on master pages. Title of the book is not likely to change from page to page, then type this information in a text block. To the chapter title, use a running Header Variable (see variables in the help).

  5 pages is located in your Applications folder.

  Pages ' 08 is located in your Applications/iWork ' 08 folder.

  If you open your old documents Pages ' 08 with 5 Pages it will convert and if not damage, remove a large number of useful features.

  You will probably regret upgrading to 5 Pages which Apple has made extremely inconsistent and keeps changing its file format.

  What antivirus you have installed before? Is the virus/malware-free system? If you have a current antivirus installed and you went through at least some of the malware removal steps I list in the link I have given if you are sure that the system is clean, uninstall McAfee and see if that solves your problem. If you connect to the Internet behind a router, you can be sure for this quick test.   Are you handy with your developer tools? It's always where I head when I need to look inside something. Before getting anywhere in addition or developed, check the response code you get for the page request and see what is the numeric code. If it is 200, you get a new copy. If it is 304 then your browser is striking the same content or something in your UI is to preserve the previously loaded document fragment.

  The PDF form must be extended drive in order to have this feature to save & print the form data.

  Please confirm by the PDF Creator is the PDF reader or not extended.

  Otherwise, if you have Acrobat installed on your system, you can reader extend PDF form yourself.
