Unrecognized without path external commands

Whenever I try to run an external command, such as the model, findstr or xcopy, I always get an error unless I put "\Windows\System32\" in front of him:

C:\>xcopy

"xcopy" is not recognized as an internal or external command
operable program or batch file.

C:\>\windows\system32\xcopy
Invalid number of parameters

C:\>path
Path = c: Files\Microsoft Shared Live;%SystemRoot%\sy
stem32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SystemRoot%\System32\WindowsPowe
rShell\v1.0\; C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\; C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Shared.

C:\ >

Why would he do that? How can I solve this problem?

I didn't not try your method again. I was going to wait until I had time to do, but I discovered that, even after several reboots, the path has been corrected. I guess it might have been because I forgot to restart my computer after the conversion of the value of string in an expandable string value. Thank you very much.

P.S. You seem very friendly. :)

    Hello

These two commands are protected against accidental removal by Windows, that is if they get deleted Windows will work just add in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.

At the command prompt, try to change this folder by typing cd C:\Windows\System32 (and then hit return) before trying the command ipconfig or ping.

If this lets then run you your 'path' is probably messed up.

    Looks like it's overheating.

Use Bing or Google to search for information on your particular laptop (maybe the support forum for your Dell, Toshiba, HP, etc.) and determine how to combat overheating.  You may be able to 'fix' it's using compressed air to clean the vents and/or using a cooling pad under the computer laptop and even run a small fan external imed in the inlet.  May not be recommended by people IT but I often run my old laptop without battery to reduce heating.  And of course, you might have a fan does not properly.

Doubtful that the malware is causing your problem.   You have every reason to think otherwise - no evidence of infection

  • Is it possible to run DiagOnCAN with the NI-CAN driver only (without car Diag command Set)

    Hello world

Is it possible to run DiagOnCan without using Diag command set auto - only with the NI-CAN driver (hardware I use is low tolerant speed - USB8472 and NOR-XNET)?

    G. Petko

no problem to do with your hardware and NI-CAN frame API.

However, you must implement the Diag and Services Transport layer on your own, which is quite a big job.

I recommend you spend the money for automotive diagnostic command set that supports

    • NI CAN (PXI, PCI, PCMCIA, USB)

    • NOR-XNET

    • cRIO/985 x target (Pharlap and VxWorks) #.

which means that if you plan to transfer your application in the future to different hardware target or the real-time target, that you don't need to change your app at all.

    Hi dragnov.

You are on the right track.  General behavior is that the latest version launched manually will be version released via an order ActiveX call DIAdem.ToCommand or DIAdem.ToDataSheet.  This information is indeed recorded in the DIAdem of the Windows registry section, and you can manually or programmatically change this registry entry before calling DIAdem via an ActiveX control.  I don't remember the name of the registry key on the top of my head, but it sounds like your last post you are already staring.

  • Any way to reinstall windows without using external software?

Sometimes I use programs that are too big for my computer.  They are usually dialog boxes.  And dialog boxes usually have the final orders down.  Which I don't see.  I drag the window to the top, but it is still too long and I can't move it all further because the title bar is completely out of the screen at the top.  I'm holding it by a single line one pixel.  With the help of the tool move does nothing: it must always click/drag on the title bar.  Is anyway to move in a coordinated way, without using external software such as Sizer?  Sorry, I've had the suspect using substantive programmes and it really wouldn't help me, because I do not see the handle which allows access to the size options.

To move the Windows Active when you can't reach the title bar with the mouse cursor, press and release of + , and press .  You can now use the cursor arrows to move the window back to the desired location.  When the box is located here where you want, press .
