• Cannot delete the 'Knctr' program in Windows XP

  Hello, I am a representative of customer service with a number on the behalf of the client. The customer wants to remove the "Knctr" program in Windows XP from the Control Panel, but he kept getting this error:

  "HE SAID THAT SOME OF THE PROGRAM IS RUNNING AND I HAVE TO CLOSE THE PROGRAM BEFORE IT CAN BE DELETED.".

  When the client closes the program and tried to delete again, he received the same error message. Please advise on how to make this problem is resolved. Thank you.

  You posted in Windows XP} programs, so I'll assume that your client is the one with Windows XP.

  In the system area right of the task bar, please a KNCTR icon. Right-click and select stop. You should now be able to go to the XP of the Panel Add / Remove Programs and uninstall.

  Let's try the following.

  Step 1: Check drive for errors.

  a. click Startand then click run.

  (b) in Open, type cmdand then press ENTER.

  c. type chkdsk c:/r , and press ENTER.

  Step 2: Try to boot in safe mode and see if the problem persists. Report of the results.
