My first thought was that it was caused by different versions of JavaFX, i.e. it is compiled with 2.0.1 but the other machine does 2.0 is installed, but it remains after having been compiled with 2.0 as well.

Another application works fine on the same machine.

What I asked sort of is, is this associated with JavaFX at all, or is there something else that will?

Hard to say with certainty but it seems 'bigger' than jfx. Have you checked that the versions of java being compiled vs running with?

    Finally solved this problem. My laptop had java 1.6 installed but for some reason I cannot repoint the browser to use the latest version of java. You must also install 32-bit java because the browser by default runs on 32-bit and is not compatible with 64-bit java.

    Download the latest version of java from here Java downloads for all operating systems using "Windows Offline". I also uninstalled all older versions of java that I had installed previously.

  • Test modules through several minor versions of CC?

    While the creative cloud app allows us to install several major versions of an Adobe application (IE. CS6, CC 2014, 2015 CC, etc.), how can you install different minor versions for debugging on each minor update (IE. CC 2015.1, CC 2015.1.1, 2015.2 CC, etc.) ?

    This is a very good Franz. It is not actually possible to install minor updates versions. We host only the most recent version, for obvious reasons, but yes, you make a good point that this is not ideal for debugging. I personally would say only test your product to the latest versions of each app as it is very probably the versions users will be installed now that we have gone from the Creative Suite products to the creative cloud.

  • How will I know InForm minor version (build) before installing the product?

    Hello world

    If I was a developer (or you have always wanted to be), or had friends in Prod Dev, I would not distract here (so you call a warning).

    I need to know Oracle Health Sciences inform build number (aka minor version number?) without having to install the product.

    It is a dotted version number normally observed in properties extended to most recent or dll, as well as files exe in 'about system' - like 6.1.0.1.1009, for example.

    I need to know this '1009' part to install the package I will or will not be installed.

    It is not mentioned in the release notes and not tied the number of patch in the name of the archive downloaded.

    I tried to decompress data {#} .cab manually to check a few binary, but it must be a new format of InstallShield, so 7-zip and deballeurs as Universal Extractor cannot deal with it.

    It sounds ridiculous that I need to spend hours to build a full blown server and installing a product just to get acquainted with this thing.

    I must be missing something trivial (but see warning).

    I'm OK with any solution - a link to the reference doc that lists built for versions 6.X or a patch number formula (if it exists), or a tool confirmed to unpack this version of Oracle CAB format is used to inform these days.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    -S.

    MargiS thanks!

    In addition, found a friend in the development, which explains the common rule for other products, which is used to inform both:

    If a product install media is supplied in the form of ISO image, then the last number name of file is the minor version, i.e. for InForm_60_x.y_zzzz.iso the build number zzzz.

  • Why so many major new versions?

    Why did we have so many new versions of Firefox this year? A milestone was reached when 4.x came out at the begging of the year and since then, we have had versions 5.x, 6.x, 7.x and now 8.x within a few months. It seems that version 9 is already in beta...

    Most of the updates seem to be minor or intermediate in nature - and certainly nothing that would require a major version release - so why so many new versions this year?

    In addition, given that the installation of update don't does not automatically move you to the next major release, are all these versions still supported?

    Updates have been replaced by a quick release cycle and that means an upgrade every 6 weeks for the next major release.

    The new version replaces the previous version and that version is no longer supported.

    Only Firefox 3.6.23 and Firefox 8.0 are supported.

    Currently, Firefox 7.0.1 is always available as a result of the investigation of reports of incidents.

  • Version JDK compatibility issue

    Hello world

    I use Studio Edition of Oracle JDeveloper 11g Release 2 (Version 11.1.2.4.0) and the information 'About', 'Version' tab, it appears: Java (TM) Plataform 1.6.0_65

    I want to use external jars that work for Java 1.6 and later. Supposedly, my Plataform Java should work.

    But when I go into the properties of the project, in the compiler section, my Version JDK compatibility shows: Source files: 1.4 and generated class files: 1.4 and I can not change to a newer version.

    In libraries and Classpath, the Version of Java if is CVM_JDK which only lets you select the Version of the JDK to 1.4... How can I modify this to select at least 1.6?

    When I try to call my external jars, it appears 'Unsupported major.minor version 49.0', due to the fact of the compiler is trying to read a library more recent that we shouldn't, in my opinion.

    My version of Java is '1.8.0. How can I change the JDK Version to the most recent? I guess it must be the problem... Can you help me?

    Thank you for your attention,

    My best regards,

    Will be.

    Hello.

    The Java version projected in the comments... dialogue shows just the JDK that is used to run the IDE. This JDK may or not may be used to compile your code, or run the integrated WLS instance. Project properties play a role here.

    You don't specify what type of application you are developing. However, since you are using JDev 11.1.2.4 and referenced in your project JDK is JDK CVM, I can deduce that you build a Mobile ADF application.

    If I'm not mistaken, you know that the JDK CVM which we pack with applications ADF Mobile is a Java ME application. Thus, it supports Java 1.4 only. We aim to provide updates language is supported in future versions of the product - but I can't discuss any time frame for this. Your only option right now is to use compiled external jars for Java 1.4.

  • change the version of java in Oracle forms 10

    Hi all!

    I m using Oracle Forms 10 and I tried to import a jar file that was compiled in java 1.6. Therefore, the import has failed with the following exception:
    "Exception occurred: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: HelloWorld (unsupported major.minor version 50.0).

    After some research, I discovered that the problem is that Oracle forms use default java 1.4.2.

    I was wondering how to change Oracle forms to java 1.4 to java 1.6.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dina

    Hello Dina,

    Regarding your question, you have two options to overcome:

    1 - stay with 10 g version of forms and recompile the class in the version 1.4 of java, compatible with the java Forms 10.1.2 importer.
    2. upgrade to version Forms 11 g, which uses the java version 1.6.

    Kind regards
    Alex

    Hello John.

    Please note that JDBC 2.0 works with JDK 1.5 + . Your 10 ODI g comes with JDK 1.4 that's why you encounter the error.

    Now to remedy this, you must install JDK 1.5 + and change ODI_JAVA_HOME to point to the new JAVA_HOME:

    Please review...

    Just to be clear, the JDK version that is provided with the forms/States 10.1.2 is Java 1.4.2_xx.  Change to a new major version of this release has been certified or never supported.  Therefore, I do not recommend to do it in a production environment.

    Understand that this issue is not about changing the JDK, so that you can continue to develop your application.  You will need to do something similar in the server environment (iAS) too.  Make such a change in iDS and iAS was not something never tested or supported, I don't want to encourage it.  Can it be done?  Of course, you can try it, but I can't guarantee the stability of such a change.  Probably the environment generator will work, but I wouldn't be comfortable with this change in iAS.

    Your organization is working on a plan to move to version 11?  If not, could you explain why?  We try to understand why customers delay the transition to current releases.

    But Jdeveloper complained class BindingContext wasn't available and I get the jar file adfm.jar has not been added to the project. I added it manually the path C:\JDeveloper11r24\oracle_common\modules\oracle.adf.model_11.1.1\adfm.jar. Once I've deployed code on an android emulator, I get the below error. Can someone please?

    07-25 13:18:03.812: D/CordovaLog (869): [SEVERE - oracle.adfmf.framework - adf.mf.internal - logError] request: {classname: oracle.adfmf.framework.api.Model; method: evaluateMethodExpression; params: [0: #{pageFlowScope.IBCMSearchBean.getSearchParams}] [1:] [2: {}] [3:] ;} exception: {message: oracle/adf/model/binding/DCBindingContainer (unsupported major.minor version 50.0); the severity: ERROR; .Guy: oracle.adfmf.framework.exception.AdfException; .exception: true ;}}}

    The version of the compiler maximum the JDev shows that 1.4. And I'm using version 11.1.2.4.0 for JDeveloper. The JDK version is 1.6.0_24.

    Sorry I missed the question!

    First of all, to get the value of selectedItem in selectOneChoice do not have another function in the domain controller. Here is an excellent article by Frank that explains this. Or you can use the below function to get the selected value immediately. Here the market is the value of selectOneChoice attribute. I wasn't aware of this method until you have read this article.

    {} public void getAndSetMarketValue (market of the object)

    ValueExpression ve = (ValueExpression) AdfmfJavaUtilities.getValueExpression ("#{bindings.marketSelectItems}", Object.class);

    AmxAttributeBinding attrBinding = (AmxAttributeBinding) ve.getValue (AdfmfJavaUtilities.getAdfELContext ());

    access the iterator that populates the list of values in

    the selectManyChoice component

    AmxIteratorBinding amxListIterator = attrBinding.getIteratorBinding ();

    the AmxIteratorBinding is a wrapper for the BasicIterator

    iterator which sets out the information we need

    ListIterator BasicIterator = amxListIterator.getIterator ();

    for each index value, query the name of the service (you can

    access and attribute from the line) to display

    SelectedValue = string

    (String) listIterator.getAttributeValueAtIndex (((New Integer ((String) market))) .intValue (), "Value");

    }

    Second, you can use #{row} in commandLink's action since it is something that is evaluated when the user clicks on the link and we do not have access to #{line} after that the entire component is rendered. To remedy this give an action for the commandlink which is a function in the bean and the function of bean back to the action of the link selected.

    ListOfReports.amx

    .......

    .......

    LoginBean.java

    ......

    public String returnClickValue() {}

    Option of string = AdfmfJavaUtilities.evaluateELExpression("#{viewScope.selectedItem}").toString ();

    return option;

    }

    ......
