I would carefully what you load at startup. You should see if you have any programs loading during the startup process, which can be changed on request.
With Autoruns, you can deselect an item which disables startup, or you can click with the right button on an item, then remove it. If you clear the check box that you can check back for re - activate the element. It is an approach much safer than editing the registry and better than using msconfig.
Another useful feature of the program is that you can click with the right button on an item and select search online to get information about the selected item.

When you use Autoruns, you will need to click on the "Connection" tab to see what runs at startup.

  • jpg superimposed image comes with unwanted background

    Hello.

I cut out an object from a jpg image and made a new image with a transparent background jpg. Tested on the program - the background of image editing is indeed transparent.

However, when I try to superimpose the image with a transparent background on a video before, the image is displayed with a white background.

How can I remove this unwanted white background?

JPEG may not contain transparency. In your Image editing software, I would choose PNG. If your image editor is Photoshop (regular, or elements), you can also Save_As PSD, which works very well in first.

When we create transparency, but he then chooses a Save_As, such as JPEG, the Image is placed flat on a white background.

If this image is opened in a tab, you should be able to close the way you close other tabs (for example, Ctrl + w).

If this image now appears on one of your toolbars, there are two possible ways that could happen:

    (1) what a referenced site? If so, you can right-click on the icon and choose Delete from the menu.

    (2) is an add-on button? You can check if you have recognized or unnecessary extensions in the page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  • Creating CD Inserts using jpg photos.

I tried to close this request, but found it difficult.

If I am wrong, please forgive me.

I am trying to create a few relatively simple inserts for a CD Jewel box.  I'm not too bothered about the circular for the moment, all I'm really bothered on the subject is the front and back covers the case.

I tried different templates for MS Word, (I use Word 2007), I have watched ebven available on MS Online via Word, but all I can find is models that are already on the theme.  All I really want is contour of the canvas where you want to place my photos.  My second problem lies.

I took photographs of the vinyl album cover, the front and the back.  I've clipped the unwanted bits and them stored in a folder in my pictures.

I managed to download a couple of different models of CD jewel case insert where there was just a glimpse, and that they easily load as templates in Word.

When I insert photos jpg files in the document, I can't handle the size of the images.

When I try to stretch the picture by the handles, the entire picture moves.  I have tried for hours, but not had the success of the Ant.

What is the best way to reach my goal?

    It creaks in the end!

I used Word 2007 in the end.  I struggled with 12 elements in Photoshop, but I'll teach myself that one ends up.

What was missing, it was 'Positioning' and be able to prioritize areas of text.

The other thing was messing around with the labelling of end where you want the text to be re-oriented.  I have sorted out who with WordArt.  A little difficult to understand at the beginning because I needed the text smaller than 8 which apparently cannot be done.  The only way around it that I could find was to reduce the size of the WordArt boxes and reposition them centrally on the model.

    Makes now any way.

The actual circular label is not easy anyway.  I have no any sticky circles now, and I'm not going to buy everything as I rarely do something like that anyway.  I always have trouble positioning the special paper into the printer for the work of dead land on the circle, then I end up losing a lot.

  • Unwanted system tray items

    Hello

I recently used Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Weather Watcher Weather Watcher Live and the weather Bug.  More than anything was removed except for their icons in the system tray and options from the Panel Notification area icon.  How can I get rid of any trace of these applications?

I guess I can not attach an image here so here is a link to a screen shot of what I speak:

    http://I103.Photobucket.com/albums/M132/bug67/computer/UnwantedSysTrayItems.jpg

I had a few other stray files I could get rid with regedit, but I for the life of me can't understand it.

I hope I have this in the right place.  I don't know there files somewhere that I need to remove the reason why I chose this forum.  Thanks in advance.

Ok.  I found the answer!  Found an article here:

    http://www.askvg.com/how-to-remove-unwanted-items-from-Hide-inactive-icons-customization-box-in-Windows-XP-Vista-and-7/

    In short:

To remove last icons in Windows 7:

    1. go to start / run and type regedit to open the registry editor.

    2. click on: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify

    3. in the right panel to find PastIconStream & IconStream, delete both.

    4. close the registry.

    5. open the Task Manager

    6. scroll through the list of processes and find explorer.exe

7 highlight explorer.exe and choose end task (you will be presented with a warning - ignore & continue)

    8. under the Manager tasks you will see on the disappearance of office, but do not panic because they're all coming back with the next step.

    9. in the Task Manager which is still open, click the file tab, and then click New task (run) & type Explorer and then press ENTER. Your desktop will instantly bounce vice versa, all neat & clean up too.

Now, check your Notification area & all the old relics of uninstalled programs icon previously will have disappeared from the list.

Worked like a charm!  Thanks Sid vicious form askvg!  :)

  • Cropping saved original raw and more final .jpg

Shooting RAW on a Nikon D600 and treatment with 13 elements PS on Windows 10.

At the opening of a picture of the Organizer to the editor, I want to crop and adjust the colors in the treatment of RAW, which will open its doors before entering the PSE13 Editor. I then save the image as a .jpg file in a different folder. The problem is that harvest (and probably settings) are recorded in the original Nikon NEF file as well as in the final JPG file, while I want the NAVE to stay 'in the know '. Some parameter or software feature causes the settings RAW to be stored in the original file of the NAVE. I can restart the NEF file in the editor, cancel the harvest in the introductory treatment of RAW and quit the editor. The image of the photo in the Organizer then returns to its original size.

Is it possible to prevent stops unwanted to the original file?

    Faurean wrote:

My problem is / was limited to the Photoshop elements 13 environment. It bothered me (still don't) that after the cropping of an original image of the Nikon NEF (ratio 3/2 as you mentioned) to a 16: 9 HD ratio and by storing the resultant final JPEG in a subfolder, the thumbnail of the image raw NEF took the proportions of the final image.

You can store the jpeg resulting, where you want. This has nothing to do with the mode of display thumbnails.

A reason important people shoot raw or use the raw (or Lightroom, same algorithms) converter is:

-because the raw data are NEVER changed

-because changes are stored separately from the data of the image (pixel values). This can be - in an xmp file (most common) - in the header section of metadata of jpeg files, without changing the pixel values - in the DNG file if you are using 'Save' - in a database of ACR (rarely no use, no sidecar xmp file). Whatever the solution, the commands edit (slider settings) are very small and some recipes.

-because they need not produce an output jpeg or psd or tiff file to apply changes to the image and display or print it at home. This is the reason why the traditional users of Lightroom:

-rarely files JPEG, psd or tiff output files, and if they do to send them to a printer, they need not keep them; they can produce them again, when they need to.

-Absolutely want to see the thumbnail of the raw file with changes applied.

And no, the thumbnail for raw files are different thumbnails of your jpeg versions if you add different changes in the editor. For example, you crop and straighten as well to adjust the tones and colors in ACR is what is shown, then you convert to black and white, and that's what will look like the jpeg thumbnail.

If you want to see the thumbnail of the file raw without changes in elements, you keep the ALT key when you click on the button 'open '. The changes will be transferred to the Publisher, but does not appear on the thumbnail; the xmp file does not update.

  • What is the difference between save in jpeg and jpg format export

    Hello

Can you tell me what the difference is between save it in jpeg format and export as jpg features.  If I do two things on the same tiff/psd file, the jpeg format is about 10 MB and the jpg is around 2 mb.  What information will I lose through the export feature?

    I use photoshop cc.

In addition to what Jane said, the reason for the difference in file size, assuming that you used the same quality in both cases, is due to the presence of metadata in the version save slot, but not the export version as.

If you look at the charts of Jane, you will see the metadata 'none' radio button is selected that tells the program to remove it. When you work with Photoshop on a PSD or other types of files, the program saves a history of all the things you do and stores. This can cause a very large amount of effectively unwanted data is saved and the file size, or even from a PSD can really expand considerably as the Junk does not appear to be stored compressed. The more you work on the document of that metadata more gross accumulates. You can see what happens in Photoshop by selecting File Info

If you look at the raw data tab, you can see all stored in XML format. It doesn't mean much unless you are an expert, but I imagine that someone finds it useful.

When you export as is everything that that data are removed, reducing the size of the file. You can see that in taking a Jpeg exported in this way and the information file by calling again. What confuses some people, is that the data are still there when it shouldn't, this occurs because the Act of opening the file is saved and poured in the raw data. It is not really there in your file unless you save the file later.

    Hope that helps

Y at - it an easy way to drop the ID's that I don't want in my PEOPLE album without deleting the photos concerned?

This part of the new feature of peoples does not yet well.

To remove unwanted, faces you'd have to track down the photo in the times, enlarge, click the 'x' on the circle of faces to remove.  But it would be a lot of work and will result in a white, empty people album in your people list. I made a few hundred times and merged the empty thumbnails a face without a name, and I hope that now for a fix to get rid of them. Repair of the library did not help to empty people.

The other alternative is to let the people you dot care to stay around the section add people and ignore, but it will be difficult to add the people that you want to add because the list goes longer.

What you shouldn't do is their fusion into a single album "strangers". That will mess up the memory and face recognition.

You could add foreigners individually and then hide them.  But hiding people will prevent the picture with the hidden person are included in the submissions, and you don't want that either.

Right now, I would ignore undesirables and wait for a update that fixes the problem with thumbnails of person empty. and send requests to Apple for the best tools to get rid of unwanted foreigners in photos showing a crowd of unknown people.
