HP pavilion 25xi 25 "monitor: hp pavilion 25xi 25" monitor Assembly

I bought the PC at Costco last September. After inserting my 25 "screen in the base, I can't tilt the screen for any angle to see better. Please advise kindly.

Thank you.

Per your suggestion, I followed the HP Support Center link and created a case for your question and your contact HP.  I was sent a replacement used as well as the support HP monitor and the base.  After the meeting, I was able to flip the screen of the monitor. Armed with confidence, I have to tip my new screen to original monitor with more force to overcome the problem of rigidity, by following the steps below:

(1) tell - connect the cables of the screen (with the base already assembled) and existing stand.

(2) place the monitor on the ground, with the face of the screen to the right (I'm right-handed).

(3) get on your knees, with the right foot on the base and the left hand grasping firmly on the stand.

(4) to switch the screen back, place the right hand at the top middle of the screen and push it to the left at an angle for comfortable vision.  To tilt the screen forward, place the right hand on the top middle to the back of the screen and push it to the right.

It may seem tortuous a smart guy. But it works well for a clumsy me .  I'll return the replacement screen for HP.

Thanks again for everything.

  • 25xi Pavilion: Pavilion 25xi cannot find video sources! Help!

My monitor of 25xi Pavilion serves me for almost a year now, but rather all at once, a serious issue was raised.

I was helping a friend fix a few problems with his HP 2511 x, being understood that we had similar monitors, and I had exchanged with his computer monitors. My flag has acted very well on my friends computer, whereas he knew that his monitor is having problems. But when it came time to return my monitor on his computer that deserves it, it now seems to be stuck searching through video signals before settling on the mode finially 'sleep'. My monitor worked perfectly previously.

After some tests, I noticed that when it is plugged into HDMI and VGA, the monitor seems to linger to seconds about 2 or more before moving on. I could not reset to factory settings because the monitor needs to find a source before doing so. Although, I have reset the screen using my friend's computer.

My monitor had been not a single scratch since I bought it, and all ports appear to be functional, clean and intact. Strangely, no signal at all can seem to get to my monitor at the moment.

    any help would be appreciated!

  • Pavilion 25xi: connect the speaker Hp pavilion 25xi

Hello.. I have a problem, connect the speakers supplied with the monitor of 25xi Pavilion. The connection on the sheet of paper supplied with the monitor shows that the speakers can be connected using the adapter. However, the power adapter has no provision to do so. Or the monitor has an audio input jack. Displays the the laptop HDMI cable but without sound. Have I been delivered with an incorrect power adapter or that the sound can be activated through my portable speaker? Help please...

    Hello

The screen itself has nothing to do with external speakers

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=Oq5EJUV9Rqw

and you have to deal with external speakers as of different devices, not a single unit with the monitor. What is the model of speakers? Normally, they should have their own power supply, and you must connect directly to your computer, not through monitor as you can see in any case no port.

Please try to connect the speakers DIRECTLY using the helmet on your laptop. I think it's a promotion complement (or throw in). Speakers and monitor function as two different units.

    Kind regards.

  • HP Pavilion DPGEK44 Gaming: HP Pavilion Gaming DPGEK44 connected via the monitor HP Pavilion 24xw - no sound

The sound on my laptop works fine until I connect it via HDMI to a monitor HP Pavilion 24xw.  Then the sound disappears.  If I disconnect it, the sound comes back.

I tried to go to the 'Sound' of the control panel section.  There are two options:

    Realtek High Definition Audio speakers

    HP 24xw

The default value is Realtek speakers.  When I use the test installation my laptop plays the sound test.  I've updated to the latest version of the driver.

If anyone can help with why where the monitor audio disappears from my laptop?

  • HP PAVILION 550-126: start PC Desktop Monitor question

Installed a HP Pavillion PC with Windows 10 550-126.  I plugged my old model monitor (2009) PC Pavillion, which is a HP 2009 m.  HP 2009 m monitor had a DVI connection, so I bought a DVI adapter to HDMI to connect the new 550-126 Pavilion.  At the start of the monitor shows nothing.  It takes a long time (5-10 minutes) before the login page appears.  When starting I have pressed the "Source" button on the HP 2009 m monitor and it comes up with a block that says "Check Vidoe cable", the block is delivered on one that says DVI is scanning, then digital asset.  I'm trying to understand if the problem is I use an adapter DVI to HDMI or if there is something else that happens - or I need to get a screen that has a direct HDMI to HDMI connection.

    Thanks for the help.

    It's the adapter.

If you want the video to appear quickly, you'll need a display more modern.

Yours is a type of old-school LCD vice a LED modern type.

Fortunately, most modern screens usually have a HDMI input.

  • HP Pavilion 25xw: new monitor - Hp Pavilion 25xw

    Hello

You just bought a new HP Envy 750-129cb here in the Canada, and it is great... but one thing:

It came with a HP Pavilion 25xw - Moniotor

    (1) I do not think, but is the touchscreen monitor? It is not currently, but maybe I'm missing something?

    (2) it doesn't seem to be any built-in internal speakers - is this correct?

    Thank you very much.

It does not have built-in speakers. You're not missing something, this isn't a touchscreen

  • Desktop HP Pavilion 550-A17C: two monitors with desktop HP Pavilion 550-A17C? (Graphics, AMD Radeon R5)

Hello. My computer is a HP Pavilion Desktop 550 - A17C with AMD Radeon R5 (integrated) graphics card. Can he take charge of two monitors? I did everything I can think of, including searching the Internet for a number of hours for solutions. For the life of me I can't get the computer to detect the second monitor, when I have two connected monitors.

I connect the main monitor with a VGA cable and the second with a DVI cable. The computer only has a VGA connector and a DVI connector. There is no HDMI port (serioulsly and I bought this computer as three months previously, as a refurb...) (Lol).

What I want to do, is extend the display. My hardware is unable to conduct two screens? A USB video adapter solve the problem?

    Thank you

    @AFL2016, welcome to the forum.

First of all, make sure that you use a DVI - D connector:

    This is important.

  • Two monitors on a Pavilion 23-b320

I'm about to buy a 23-B320 Pavilion all-in-one and you want to know if anyone knows if you can add a second monitor to it. It doesn't have the port on the back for a second monitor, but I've heard that you can get a special cable that will allow you to turn a USB port into a video port... Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Tronn42,

You are right. You can use a converter USB to DVI (or VGA, or HDMI) video port to run on a second monitor. I did not flag 23 precisely, but he's worked on all all-in-one PC, I tried it on.

For example, here are some converters DVI USB:

  • Impossible to add an external monitor or adjust the brightness of the screen: Pavilion dv7-4031TX (Windows 7)

    Hello

I recently replaced both hard drives of HDD2K12, which meant I had to re-enstall Windows 7. Since that time, I have no options more in using an external monitor or even the brightness of the screen. The computer does not recognize the monitor when I Plug and all my drivers are up to date.

Can you make suggestions that could help to solve these two problems?

    Kind regards

    Peter

Thanks to find the links but I could not find the drivers I need for a Pavilion dv7-4031TX.

However I finally managed to fix the problem. Let me summarize what has been my problem.

    (1) I could not adjust the brightness of the screen by using the function keys f2 and f3.

    (2) I couldn't find the brightness slider if it was generally... i.e. (control Panel\Hardware and Options of Sound\Power)

    (3) my laptop would not recognize an external monitor.

    How I solved the problem:

    1 > pass.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-95107-1 & CC = in the & DLC = in & LC = on & os = 4063 & Product = 4253423 & sw_lang =

and go to the graphics driver and download the graphics driver and follow the directions. At the end of the installation you will be asked to restart the computer.

0nce you have restarted your computer, you should be able to adjust the brightness of the screen using the fn keys or the brightness slider in the window 'power Option '.

    2 > Activting 2nd monitor

Click on Device Manager... At start-> right click on 'Computer' and click 'properties '. Click on "Device Manager". Now click on "monitors".

Now connect the exernal monitor to your laptop while watching where the monitor icon appears under "monitors". It should appear as 'Generic PNP monitor'.

Now, right-click on it and select "update driver software... "then search automatically for updated drivers. Install the new drivers. You should see the generic 'PNP monitor' name change to another name.

3 > restart your computer. You should find that after doing all this, you should be back to normal.

  • HP Pavilion p7-1529: HP Pavilion p7-1529 startup issues, no monitor activity

My HP Pavilion p7-1529 at start-up, the power led will Flash orange briefly, then turns off. The fan inside works perfectly well. To be attached to a monitor, the screen says "No Signal" even if the computer is on. The light output at the back is green and solid.

When the problem started first, the start light is blue but there is no response from the monitor and after leaving during several minutes, he would have himself automatically restarts and then fine. But the next day, what has happened, and it would be wrong to start. I think that there is something wrong with the boot priority in the BIOS.

I would try to reset the BIOS and boot priorities, but I don't know how to do that without being able to see the options on the screen.

Update: I did a reset of the BIOS and CMOS Battery, and now the starting lights turn blue again.
