  The fix was uninstall Adobe Reader. Tried to reinstall this morning but same problem immediately. Y at - it a solution or should I go for another PDF reader?

  Please open Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, go to the Help menu and repair the installation.

  Please also let me know the following:

  (1) Edit Goto-> preferences-> Signatures-> identities and trust certificates, and then click more.

  (2) select the digital ID files option.

  (3) select the .pfx file that is used for the decryption of the document.

  4) click on password Timeout.

  (5) enter the password if requested

  (6) let me know the selected value. You never need password do not ask.

  As already the certificate is added to the windows certificate store, so please first remove from the windows certificate store before you test the scenario above.

  Vista is not supported for Adobe Reader 11 and newer versions.

  According to the information found on another site, regular quarterly patches for Adobe Reader MSP are cumulative, that is, you just apply the last being; but the patches that resolve the specific problems of security are incremental. According to the release notes, the latest three patches for reader XI have been updated quarterly regular, AdbeRdrUpd11013.msp apply to my English version of 11.0.10 was therefore correct. Updater as to why said me "no update available", I suspect it is because I was running 11.0.10 on an operating system not supported (Vista). It bothers me a little that Internet Explorer always reports the 11.0.10 version, but in all likelihood it is simply because Adobe has not changed AcroPDF.dll since last December. I liked this discussion!

  I have problems trying to download/install Adobe Reader 10.  The initial report download works, but when I run the saved file, the installation process continues to stop at 50%, with the message "lost connection. Try to reconnect.   This then ends with the message "the connection has failed. Unable to complete the installation.   I tried disabling my firewall, but it did make a difference.   I have also tried directly mentioned link said, using Adobe, pages, but I get a message "cannot find server".   How can I overcome these issues?
