Problems updating Adobe Reader XI

I have been using Adobe Reader version 11.0.10 all year round without any problems, except for the part 'all year': update did not work either automatically or manually, because he told me "no update available" so that the release notes page shows that following three updated quarterly have been released. Is there an explanation known for this?

In any case, I took matters into my own hands by going to planned 11.0.13 update, October 13, 2015 - Acrobat and Adobe Reader Release Notes and download a patch (version non - MUI 44.9 MB of AdbeRdrUpd11013 - hope, I chose correctly?) Correctly applied the patch and I'm still able to read PDF files, but there is a minor problem annoys me: Manage Add-ons in Internet Explorer reports yet my version as 11.0.10. I think it's because the AcroPDF.dll file is still the 11.0.10 (modified 12/03/2014) version and has not been replaced by the hotfix. He really had been no revision to this file in the latest three versions, or the patch do not apply correctly? And is there a direct link to a 11.0.13 full installer (the main download page offers only 11.0.10)?

I also have the very common problem of Firefox reports a plugin obsolete, although he acknowledged the 11.0.13 version, but disturbs me. FWIW, a response to someone else's question to Firefox, said the auditor plugin now considers anything but Acrobat Reader DC is obsolete, which seems to be the only reasonable explanation.

Thank you

According to the information found on another site, regular quarterly patches for Adobe Reader MSP are cumulative, that is, you just apply the last being; but the patches that resolve the specific problems of security are incremental. According to the release notes, the latest three patches for reader XI have been updated quarterly regular, AdbeRdrUpd11013.msp apply to my English version of 11.0.10 was therefore correct. Updater as to why said me "no update available", I suspect it is because I was running 11.0.10 on an operating system not supported (Vista). It bothers me a little that Internet Explorer always reports the 11.0.10 version, but in all likelihood it is simply because Adobe has not changed AcroPDF.dll since last December. I liked this discussion!
