  Hi Shiuyin, welcome to the Forums of HP. I understand that you are not able to copy files to the SD card after upgrade to KitKat. Android has changed their security settings, and you will probably need to find a file to upgrade Manager.

  I got my update Android Lollipop (5.02) yesterday for my Sony Xperia Z2 (D6503) and I'm really disappointed when I realized that Sony withdrew Sinhala (Unicords) update stock Android Google Lollipop. I know for a fact that since Android Lollipop (5.00) in rooms, Google had relased their Android platform, including the SINHALA language.  I don't know why Sony removed intentionally, and I believe, as a big fan of Sony, I have a right to know!

  Sony has been a brand established in Sri Lanka for so long and even without official support there are many people using Sony designers. It's something unjustand unaccpetable. You will never know the feeling when you can't read your native language on your phone.

  I believe that the ability to use a preferred language is a right as a user of Sony and you took this right to me when you have removed the language SINHALA new update of your device.   I would like to show you how it shows me my language on my xperia from Sony Z2.

  

  I don't know any user of Sony you feel even if they were to see their language like that. Even Google traslator now are the Sinhalese supported. and remove my telephone is unacceptable.

  I hope that the Sony team will take this issue seriusly and give me a positive response. I'm begging you to include Sinhala at the least the next update from. There are 20 million people speaking Sinhalese in Sri Lanka and also aroud the world. Sony must have Sinhala. If I don't have a positive feedback, this could be the last time I buy a Sony divide again. I'm sure the feeling is mutual with every Sri Lankan.

This means that there are SINHALA content in an application, for example when you look at BBC Sinhala in Facebook, it will be made and you will be able to read it. However, the Xperia devices will not support Sinhalese as a language of the phone. We will not for example Sinhala menus.

  After restart my wifi works fine, all other app very well work, but my 3g connection does not work, mobile bar is empty and it says "no service".

  My sim card is ok. I used this sim card before the system update and I don't have a problem with Android 4.2.2.

  Go to mobile network settings and search again for the 3G network.
  I had a similar problem with my Android Smartphone and my o2 provider
  I started to search for new, so I chose the O2 again and then I could solve the problem.

  In the case where this does not work for you, recommend you to reset the default Tablet (factory settings)

  Solution here.

  Since the update there is no more access to the settings with "Android 3 lines standard menu" above, but a 'wheel of the parameters' to the left.

  And when I opened these settings I had seen in any way the possible regulation of the setting to save to SD card.

  Check, the interface is far from intuitive and I didn't realize it was necessary for the Group of slide up to see the bottom of the menu, because no lift and no other sign was visible before I try to drag!

  In short, I finally found this setting by sliping as this menu from the top and I hope that this testimony will help others who would became so perplexed than me!

  As a side note, I believe that there is a gap in the market here for Blackberry. At the current stage, Apple are always updated the OS on their phones/tablets dating back to 2012 (iPhone 5). Four years of OS updates! The closest I've seen in the world Android is the features of Google that are guaranteed three versions of Android - that they ship with and two other + security updates.

  If Blackberry could match updates features of Google (at least three) or even better, to match Apple, Blackberry Android device to its original investment seems excellent quality / price.

  No, Google just guarantee 24 months of updates of new major versions of Android. A friend uses a Nexus 5 without brand, but will I not Nougat Android. It receives security updates (and about 1-2 weeks before I get them on DTEK50), but we are both using Marshmallow for the moment.

  Another thing to consider is the fact that "Powered by Android BlackBerry" is not original Google Android. They have made many changes to make it much safer. It must first be converted to the new version of Android before it can be published. Waiting for Alcatel operate on the DTEK50 (which is almost an Idol 4) won't be enough. Updated the PRIV is even more complex because no partner will help the material part of the new programming software.

  I'm trying to convert my apk at the helm on the playbook. However, whenever I made a push, (Blackberry Eclipse tool) my previous private version update files stored in the app came out dry.   Normally, if you are installing from Eclipse, you have certain parameters like "wipe User Data', which must be unchecked if you do not want this.

  I thought you might this in eclipse via the Package Explorer, right-click on your application, choose ' run as ' > 'Run configurations...'. Then go to the 'Target' tab and at the bottom, you should see this setting.
  (PS: could assert that it is a little different because I come without eclipse open, isn't Eclipse installed on this pc I'm using right now).

  In any case, it should certainly be possible to keep your data (at least it works when I test applications). It's just finding the right setting.
