  I changed 'CS6 Adobe Extension Manager' permissions to read and write.

  Noticed an Adobe folder in Applications. Changed the name of old Adobe, thinking maybe it was an older version of CS4. But no luck.

  I use a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.7.5 and I tried Update Manager extension 6.0.4 and received a U44M1P7 error, and the update would not move.  This happened twice, and after the first time, I repair disk preferences.

  If you had perpetual CS6 install Creative cloud versions of Photoshop. Uninstall CS6 then install CS6 via the desktop creative cloud application.

  If you have only perpetual CS6, I suggest that you try to install CS6 on top of your current CS6. Who should back up CS6 level to version 13.0.  After installing CS6 use menu help > updates.  Who should update the CS6 for Windows version 13.0.1.3 or 13.0.6 Mac ACR to ACR 9.1.1 CS6 must be activated and your Plug-ins, actions and presets preferences will be always installed.

  I tried to update several times in the last week or two. I tried to restart my Mac (MBP running 10.6.8 2.66 Core2 Duo w / 8 GB RAM). I tried to fix the permissions, I tried anything else I know. The update worked fine on my iMac (running the same operating system).

  As I installed Photoshop CS6 on my Mac OS 10.8, I could not properly install an update. Whenever I get error U44M1P6, who told me to try to install the update manually. What I do and I get the same result.

  I have asked me if I changed something in the folder of Photoshop or something similar, and I did not do anything for her as well as install an extension using the extension manager and keeping the Photoshop icon on my dock.

  When I get this error, the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop, which makes me lose all my brushes, preferences, etc. In short, it's a pain.

  Ideally you should not use Mackeeper as it changes to files that may affect the work of Adobe Photoshop. MacKeeper probably thinks that these files not be used, if still use you it, make sure that it does not touch your installed Adobe Photoshop folder in / applications.

  Please provide me with a file name like "Adobe Photoshop CS6 Support XXXXX... ».

• CS6 extensions Manager does not work

  I downloaded a few extensions to use with my Photoshop CS6 version, but I can't seem to open the extensions Manager. I see it down in my bar tasks, but when I click on it nothing appears. I tried to access it from the list of program files and even right click on extensions and choose 'Open', but nothing. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

• Camera Raw 8.7 update fail in CS6

  Download Camera Raw 8.7 update fails in Photoshop CS6. I read a post from someone with the same problem who said that he was told to uninstall/reinstall Photoshop. That cannot be the answer, and many people must be having trouble with this download. Help, please! I can't edit Lightroom 5 files in Photoshop CS6 now (I have download the update for LR5 without problem).

  OK, to account. I needed to update my Windows 7 Photoshop ACR to 8.7, so I went the same link I gave you.

  I usually keep Firefox and Chrome browsers. I put my download location in the preferences of browser on 'Office '.

  Then I went to this link and click on the zip file. I chose 'Save' instead of 'open with '.

  The zip file is now on my desk, I can see it.

  I double-click it to unzip it (I use Winrar 5.11) I then get the .exe installer.

  I close all my programs, run the installer and enter my admin password when asked. He simply settled with a single click.

  When I finished, I open the bridge, go to preferences Raw camera to see I have 8,7 I.

  Update, I got it to work finally. Had to reinstall everything. Something must have been corrupted.

  Once this has been done, Adobe Update manager asked me to connect and the extensions Manager connected to internet (to check the application has been paid for I guess). Then he installed as it should. I guess that 2.5.4 previous application must have been if you do not login to check. More security Adobe run. Problem is if I had not this workstation in the year include that we could connect to the internet, I would have been out of luck.

  Howdy! I just spent a week trying to troubleshoot myself.

  So I would setup fresh Photoshop through the creative cloud app. It would install it without error and then offer a lot of updates. Finally, it would fail on 13.1.2. What kept little matter how many times I reinstalled photoshop, the suite of creative clouds, or wipe off all the bits of software on my machine. I then asked if if one of the updates (I think as 13.0.1.2) blocked the one to succeed. I have noticed the Creative Cloud App Manager doesn't let you choose which updates to apply, but the photoshop update itself would have so I tried this:

  1. first install cost of Photoshop from the creative application of cloud (uninstall everything first if you have to-it's just that it must be without updates after the initial installation applied)

  2. launch Photoshop.

  3. go in help > updates

  4. developing update of Photoshop training and deselect the 13.0.1.2 update.

  5. Press next/fact/OK button (whatever the confirmation button is on the update) and close Photoshop (or it will prompt you to).

  This resulted in a successful update of 13.1.2 I understand everything I have to 13.0.1.2 that this update no longer appears subsequently. It seems that the 13.0.1.2 update leaves some files in a State where none of accession will push them up to 13.1.2. in any case, I hope that this or a variant of this solution works for you, as most of these discussions have ended with "just all reinstall and use the cleaning tool" without really trying to solve the problem.
