  I installed a Sierra Wireless MC8355 - Gobi 3000 in my Lenovo Thinkpad X131e wwan card.  the system starts, and I installed the drivers and the VZaccess Manager software.

  My question is, the software VZ tells me that the device is not activated.  I checked the bios and it shows the wireless cards active, how to activate a device on this computer model?

  Hey there! Been a while since I've been back. Did not have many problems with my X 301!

  It is high time that I buy a new PC, however! The T520 is - very - convincing. I have a few questions and comments before you buy it if:

  • 1. I see two ways to save money on my order:
  • 1. outside the cache, is there a substantial difference on real matrix between the i7-2820QM (2.30 GHz, 8 MB L3) and the i7-2630QM Sandy Bridge? I mean, will I miss out on all the features? 300 Mhz does not seem much difference, however, with Turbo Boost technology, I could be wrong.
  • 1B. ThinkPad memory is much too expensive. I found kits DDR3 1333 SO-DIMM 8 GB on NewEgg for $85. Is there a reason that I should pay $240 for the "upgrade"? In addition, you should opt for 1066 Mhz SO-DIMM because the CASE is weaker? I read something to that effect on AnandTech earlier.

  I think I found the culprit: the last time I had this problem I didn't know what was the reason.

  After that the above post I got it works fine until recently it suddenly reappeared without having done me anything (Finally, I've done something, but I couldn't understand that).

  I installed a few games, but nothing about the wwan adapter.

  I also had the same problem to launch a vanilla Ubuntu 9.10 x 64.

  Finally it dawned on me that, just as the problem the first time, I had also installed Ubuntu. I think that something about the way that Ubuntu handles the umts modem makes it behave this way.

  This time (since I seen Ubuntu as the reason yet and I couldn't understand anything more), I opened the Thinkpad and looked for clues as to why this was happening - loose cables and all that - but nothing was wrong. I also disconnected the small backup battery for a few minutes to reset all the BIOS (except the part that is not volatile of course) - who probably had the same effect as turn off/turn on the modem I/O on-screen that solved the problem last time.

  Then, I rebooted, entered the BIOS, responsible for the default installation with F9 and it suited my needs. Since then he has worked flawlessly again...

  I'm not sure that Ubuntu bad, but it's the only logical explanation, and I think that's the reason why some mistreatment of the modem which required a "reset" on the base material, it is why a complete reinstallation of Windows did not do one thing...

  For now, I can just advise all users T500 WWAN to avoid Linux - Ubuntu, especially - at least until understand you what causes the strange behavior.

  Just my 50 ct other people with the same problem so some ideas on how to solve this problem.

• Verizon HP mini 311-1037nr wireless WWAN modem disabled

  I had my mini 311-1037nr since November last with no real problem. Last week you think I went to connect Verizon's network and he said that the wwan device has been disabled. • X100e with WWAN in Australia, how to put in place?

  I just got a bicoeur with WWAN Gobi chip x100e.

  When I run the Thinkvantage tools - 3G mobile broadband, he asks me to activate Verizon. (I have already inserted the SIM in the slot)

  The problem is that there is no such thing as Verizon in Australia. My carrier is Optus, and I bought a SIM BYO (bring your own) which means it comes with a SIM card, that's it, no drive, no software, no nothing.

  I recently bought the new iPhone 7 more.  Not only am I having problems with the LTE service, bounce back between 3 G and no service I am now having problems with call connectivity.  When you try to make an outgoing call, I get an automatic response from my carrier (Verizon) "it's Verizon, we are unable to complete your call at this time, please turn off your phone and back and try again."

  It is a known issue with the iPhone 7 and Verizon. Supposed to be Apple and Verizon are seeking him. It has been a problem since the phone was released. Do a Google search or search here on the forums for a temporary solution but not a cure.  But basically to stop the LTE oice and data into data only in the settings.

  My iPhone 6 more guard suspended (gel) for the past 6 months, I have to reset the whole phone sometimes up to 2 times just to get it to work again. Been a loyal (including my entire family) custome since gen 1 iPhone, iPad, mac book. Am really disappointed with the quality now. Did not bring to the service center since the first day of the problem because I thought that was just a few bugs & was sure that apple will fix it, but after many update of iOS so far, the pesisit still problem.

  I created a document Pages using the Pages application on my macbook pro I downloaded then to iCloud Pages so that I can access it from any computer. The issue I'm having is that I formatted some of the text to have a black background and the text to yellow color. For the life of me I can't understand how to change the background color of text on the Pages of iCloud. I beginning to think that changing the background color of text just is not possible on the platform of iCloud, but wanted to put this out there just to make sure.

  Background (highlight) text color controls are absent in the Pages for iCloud, because it is a subset of Pages for Mac.

• External hard drive mounting issues on MacOS Sierra

  After upgrading to OS Sierra, I found that my USB3 drives, directly connected to my iMac end of 2012, turn off at startup. USB 2 disks are unaffected and connect properly. The only way to access my USB3 disks is to disconnect and reconnect every time I start the computer, then they are ok. I tried to reset the NVRAM, but it did not work. I found Os El Capitan until this issue is resolved.
