Update for Nvidia Drivers?

This message is for all the gamers out there use VAIO systems. The VAIO update software is nice for the inexperienced, but as a hardcore gamer and a computer science major I was shocked to discover that graphics drivers specifically cannot be updated manually without removing the software that could void the warranty. Not only that, but the VAIO update-provided drivers are very obsolete. It is a major concern for all those who want to get more out of their laptop high performance because the graphics drivers can make a huge difference in performance, especially with the newer cards. Then... Sony, seriously, if you're not going to allow your customers to update the drivers manually, you NEED NEED keep YOUR database up-to-date. It is honestly quite ridiculous. I'm curious how many thousands of customers run lower graphics drivers because you can not take 30 seconds to update your database. These drivers are NOT hard to find and it is there no legal problem which prevents you to display the most recent. Please get with this Sony, I have no past all my hard earned cash on a computer laptop fancy, so I could run latest drivers years. It is honestly just lazy on your part.

Someone will answer?

NVIDIA provides drivers for laptop graphics cards.  They leave this task up to the OEM.  If you want to try the new Nvidia drivers, laptopvideo2go.com has a few guides and how to install the most recent drivers on laptops such as yours.  I suggest trying some news to see if those to improve your display rate, that HP may have updated Nvidia drivers listed on their website.

    See you soon,.

  • WebGL has stopped working since the last update of NVIDIA drivers. Decommissioning of the pilots did not help. WebGL is enabled, but it does not compile shaders and fail.

I use Firefox on Ubuntu 12.04 49.0.2. Until a few days ago, WebGL worked. A few days earlier, it has stopped working (one day after I installed the latest version of the Nvidia drivers). I tried the option "enable force", without success. WebGL context is created, but debugging, it looks that the shader is not compiled (so made is not possible). I already tried to change the options on the angle, without success. I tried to downgrade the graphics drivers and their modernization once again, without success.

My nvidia drivers are version 304.132 (latest version)

OK, solved. The problem is caused by a bug in the NVidia driver, as shown here:

    After decommissioning, everything worked fine

You must report your problem to Nvidia in order to work on the problem and prevent it from occurring in the next driver updates

  • I need assistance with updates for the drivers on my computer.

I'm new with computers and need help to ensure that my drivers are up to date, I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 running Vista 32-bit and also where to go to get the updates, I need. Thank you in advance for any help, anyone can have to offer.

Is the first right to updates pilot "if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Normally if everything works, you want to leave things as they are. The exception is that heavy players usually want to update their video and sound drivers for every last bit of absolute performance of the equipment to get the best frame rate. If you are not one of these people, you need not update your drivers, if there is no problem you're trying to solve.

That said, if you really want to update your drivers you won't get the from the website of Dell support for your specific model computer. Enter your Service tag to ensure that you get the right ones.
