Update KB954430 keep asking to be installed

I recently installed Windows 7: Professional, everything is fine except the KB954430 update. It does not ask to be installed. I tried looking for the control panel > uninstall > Windows updates... but he's not here.

I've seen some other posts about it, but all have had them pretained to windows vista.

If this serious, I run on x64Bit.

Hello BigKat,

1. in the programs and features, click the link updates installed.

2. scroll down until you find the update you want to delete, select it with the mouse and then click on uninstall.

3. Windows Vista will ask you to confirm that you want to uninstall the update you selected. Click Yes and the uninstall process will begin.

4 depending on the size of the update, the uninstall process may take from several seconds to several minutes.

To use the safe mode option, follow these steps:

    Hi Nick,

We had a few reports of this problem with the media as well.  You can try these workaround solutions and let us know how it goes?

    1. Make sure that you do not have other installers at the same time (see the "msiexec.exe" Task Manager)
    2. Make sure you have enough free hard disk space
    3. Restart your computer (installers are sometimes tricky if the installer from some other app ran earlier but is still saving a few tasks until the next reboot).
    4. Run the installer as admin, as follows:
      1. Click with the right button on the "Command Prompt" application and choose Run as administrator
      2. Use cd to navigate to the folder where you downloaded the .msi installation file
      3. Run the following: msiexec /i «2.msi Adobe Edge Code Preview»

  • KB2756918 fix does not update. system keeps asking you to do again and again even if she says she successfully completed

system asks continually updated. but when I update and the system says it successfully completes. It all comes down to sy, I got an update which is the same as that over and over again. How can I stop it?

    Hello

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Communities.

According to the description of the problem, it seems that windows update constantly updated of the same update that is already installed.

Please go ahead and follow the steps mentioned and later a update on the State of the question.

Method 1: Try to reset components to update Windows from the following link:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

Method 2: Also scan your computer from the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

I understand that the same updates are offered repeatedly. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Did you make any changes before the show?

If successful, it is safe to 'hide' the update.  It will not be offered again.
