• Update of Lightroom stuck at 50% in creative cloud

  Just installed a lot of apps CC on my computer. Had some connectivity issues during installation. Now the update of Lightroom CC is stuck at 50%. All of the other applications resolved themselves but Lightroom still hung. This option is to click on 'Retry '.

  Problem: I have Lightroom 6, stand alone version. The update through CC is stuck at 50%.

  Not tried:

  -Sign out / sign of CC

  -Adobe cleaner application, including uninstalling Lightroom

  -Re-installing Lightroom 2015 CC and subsidiarization of Lightroom 6.0

  I'm stuck at 6.0 Lightroom now :-(

  I am aware that this problem has been reported frequently, but none of the solutions worked for me.

  I'm on a Mac running Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

  I would be grateful for any help,

  OK, I uninstalled the application CC and Lightroom, re-installed and try the update again, as suggested, but nothing helped.

  But here's what has worked in the end: mount the DMG updater and as soon as the update manually a terminal as root, i.e.,.

  $ sudo /Volumes/Lightroom-6.7.0-Update/AdobePatchInstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/AdobePatchInstalle r

  All good now. Adobe, as a customer that I would appreciate if you can solve the problem.

  MY update is also at a standstill.  I turned the computer and disable several times, but nothing works.  Tried to start in "safe mode", but which does not work either. Anyone have another suggestion?

  I've seen several threads on these, but they do not seem to help.

  I have Vaio laptop with Vista operating system threads. It used to work well until last year.  However, lately when I try to start the computer, it did update Windows and gets stuck on update 3. I tried all the options in advanced mode by clicking on F8 key-start in safe mode, starting with the command line, start in recovery mode, etc. and they all end with the same question.  I don't have a backup boot drive.  I need to recover important data on the computer and need to start the machine atleast once.  Still, I don't want to disassemble the drive hard, etc..

  Can you please help.

  This is the same download for Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC. I can't tell you what to do that signature is concerned because I've never used Lightroom 6. I've only used Lightroom CC. But if you have enabled Lightroom with a serial number for version 6 and then everything you need to do is to use the latest update available on the following Web site:

  How can I find the update link.

  I understand that Lightroom CC is the last direction that adobe has taken. Can I upgrade, and it is worth. From what I found online, Cloud Creative is a monthly subscription.

  I'm not sure what direction I need to go to keep updated in Lightroom. Your answers are appreciated.

  MAC OSX 10.10.5 and I always have problems with the creative application of cloud.

  It does not start automatically, but it works. Many updates lately omitted by error 43 or something :-) to 9%.

  Your initial installation was probably LR6.0

  The latest version is Lr6.5.1

  You can update from the main menu of LR:

  Help > updates

  Or use the link provided by Axel and go straight to the download for the LR6.5.1
