  Perpetual products that use serial numbers are platform specific. You will not be able to use the same serial number on a windows machine.

  To use Photoshop on Windows and Mac, you will need to opt for a creative cloud subscription.

  I just erased it in the moderation queue, but it seems to me that a person can use this information for illicit reasons, as well as to check for the authentic versions.  You are considering the purchase of Photoshop from a source not Adobe CS6?  Perhaps you will give us a little more information about the background for your application.

  Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.

  I just Photoshop CS6 Extended (Mac) and I am unable to save files (for example, .psd) as a .jpg file - if I select the JPEG option, but that is checked, it appears in the above as .gif or .eps file name WHY?   • Try to open PS CS6 in disabled mode Plugin and check the same. To do this press SHIFT + PS CS6 icon and click Yes.

  The box was in a brown envelope, and it has sticker bar code on the back with more digits.  Where should I look for the actual serial number.
