  OK - think I have this sorted out now.

  When you copy and paste an Illustrator file in Photoshop, you get the dialog box PASTE.

  You can paste as smart object, Pixels, path and shape layer. In the past, you would select depending on what you want (in my case for most Smart Object) and viola - you have your dynamic object. However, in the newly revised version, there is a checkbox in low called "Add to my current library" If this box is checked, it becomes a library file that displays with a 'cloud' icon in the layer. If you uncheck the 'Add to my current library' it won't matter as a regular smart object.

  From what I was told by an employee, newer than 10.7 Mac must subscribe in the cloud instead of buy CS6... and someone with Win10 must also subscribe to the cloud for CS6 is not compatible (meaning that the seller will ask you your operating system and not sell you CS6 if she does not work on your computer...   Please go to the Photoshop preferences, then general tab and uncheck the option "Show Start Workspace"

  Restart Photoshop and then let me know if you still have the same problem or not.

• Updated Photoshop CC and now it crashes.  How should I take this back to before the update?

  I spent 3 hours this afternoon trying to get help from the cat but nothing is fixed.  I have photoshop, lightroom, and bridge.  Updates to Lightroom and bridge agree. How can I reinstall the CC PS before the update?  My Macbook Pro is not able to manage it, maybe... being older video card.  I have a backup on my external hard drive, but it does not work correctly if I'm well obviously not doing it correctly. I'm not all that technical, but I can follow the exact instructions.

  My Office CC is not any 'previous Versions' of applications so I can't take it back to 2014 version.

  Please can someone help get this sorted out?  I would really appreciate it.

  You can easily switch between the rectangular and elliptical marquee selection on your keyboard, same tools exactly how you do it depends on how you have set things up in Photoshop preferences. Each tool in the tools Panel are accessed by pressing a certain letter on your keyboard. The rectangular and elliptical Marquee tools can be selected by pressing the letter Mand switch between them, you press M new by itself or you will need to press SHIFT + M. Again, this depends on how you set it up in preferences.

  In the new Photoshop CC 2015, we have an option to customize the toolbar according to your needs.

  If you have a few missing tools, then simply click on 'three points' are at the bottom of the Control Panel tool bar and customize tools later.

  I'm new to the development of a plugin and am trying to upgrade a plug-in developed in Acrobat 5.  The XI SDK API documentation under ""Plug-ins and Applications > development Plug-ins and Applications > understanding plugins > on initialization of the plug-in > Handshaking "refers to the header DUCallbacks.h file."

  
  

  I have this header file in the Acrobat 5 development kit, but I do not see it in the current Acrobat XI download and I don't see any use of it in the SDK XI samples.  I am missing files or Ducallbacks.h is no longer a part of the SDK? If it is not more a part of the SDK, is there an updated version of the guide to the developer of the plug-in which deals with a handshake in the current SDK?  I searched the Adobe site and not found anything newer than what is included in the SDK download.
