update to itunes 12.3.3 fails

My system is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with all latest updates. Also have another computer with Windows professional 10 64-bit with the same problem. On both computers, the error message reads:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that in unavailable" "" then it ask to enter another path to a folder containing the installation package iTunes6464.msi. I tried this. The default displays software c:\users\David\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Update\ path.

There is an iTunes6464.msi file in this folder. I also tried to go in the folder, and no help. Now he says the file iTunes6464.msi is not valid.

Another thing, both computers have in common is that they are both rely on an ASUS X 58 chip set. All older versions of iTunes have worked well and updates emptied questions on these computers.

Another note, I have a newer computer, running Windows Professional 10 based on an ASUS Z68 chip, set this upgrade to iTUnes 12.3.3 without any problem.

One thing I forgot in my original post. I tried to uninstall iTunes and was not able to complete the operation. I received the same error.

  • MSVCR80.dll was not found after installing an update for iTunes

-5February2014 - yesterday I received an automatic update of iTunes (do not write update number) so I accepted the download automated and then with what I was doing on my PC.  Later in the process, a message said something about unable to download or install or something, so I cancelled the iTunes update, thinking I would look into another time.  This morning when I start my PC, as part of the service, I received a pop-up box that follows:

"Unable to locate component APSDaemon.exe. This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. »

At this point, that I'm not sure that the application did not start OR should I try to install.  First of all, I restarted the PC, thinking it was just a ghost in the machine, but during and after the reboot issue I had the same error popup box.  Of course, this does not affect the ability to control Outlook, mail, or go on the Internet, but I'm afraid that someday when I need that MSVCR80.dll, I'm having a problem.  Can someone well tell me what I need to be concerned about or do to fix this "missing" file number, which is also be aggravated to the population of iTunes?  Thank you.

  • An error occurred installing iOS 10 / can't update via iTunes

I have the same problem as many others displaying without finding an answer. My iPhone 6 has not been able to update since iOS 9.3.2. The obvious solution is updated via iTunes, but when I try it, iTunes says "this version of the iPhone (9.3.2) software is the version current." iTunes is up to date. I am running Mac OSX 10.7.5.

Please suggest a way to update my iPhone.

    Hi benbencaro,

Thank you for bringing your problem of update for Apple Support communities. From your post, I gathered that you tried to update your iPhone 6 to 10 IOS through iTunes, but you can not. I have an iPhone 6 as well and I was very happy to upgrade to iOS 10. I'll be happy to help you with this.

iOS 10 requires iTunes version 12.5.1, which is available on Mac OS X versions 10.9.5 or later. You want to upgrade to El Capitan. Before the upgrade, it's always a good idea to save the Mac with Time Machine. The following items go on the means to backup and upgrade of Mac OS X.

Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac

Update of OS X El Capitan

Then, once you have upgraded to El Capitan, you will want to run the software updates from the Mac App Store. This ensures that you get the latest version of iTunes version 12.5.1 on your system.

Update the software on your Mac

Once you have set iTunes to update, connect your iPhone to your Mac and create a backup on iTunes (if you don't have one in iCloud) then you can upgrade to the new iOS 10.

The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

    Have a great day!

Applications appear in iTunes as with updates, but iTunes says "Podcasts is available only on iOS.

I usually never use the app store on my phone and always update of applications via iTunes.

    Please fix this bug.

Saying "Podcast is available on IOS - only to get Podcasts search app store for your IOS device.

I use 3 (new ipad, IOS 9.3.2) iPad and iTunes for windows 12.4.1.6

How to solve it? Thank you

Ignore the update, Podcasts is built into iOS 9, you can't update built-in apps on your iPad (except through iOS updates). (It's show due to: remove the built-in apps from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS beta 10 - Apple Support)

If you have not all devices running older versions of iOS (or if you do, if you do not use Podcasts on them), you could remove the application from the My Apps from your iTunes library section so that the "update" to disappear.

Thus, thousands of songs and hundreds of films and I can't see or play one. I see my movie library where it is stored on an external hard drive, but my music was on my iMac.

Where all the playlists gone and why didn't appear my entire music library? I checked the preferences and iTunes points to the correct folder, BUT only my music purchased appears...

Same thing happened to me. I tried to replace iTunesLibrary.itl with an older copy, but that has not worked. Then I tried to return a version by resetting the Time Machine's iTunes app, but it would allow me to edit or delete iTunes because it is part of Mac OS X.

So, I can not sync my iPad or iPhone, update all apps or find my music, that is, the course of the odf, still on my hard drive. ITunes just can't see the library.
