Updated for win7 to win 8. You will have to reinstall MS Office 2010.

Hi all

I bought my computer dell laptop with win 7 and MS Office 2010.  Later, I upgraded from win7 to win 8.  My system became unstable and I did a refresh of the laptop.  I now need to reinstall MS Office 2010.  I have the activation key, but I have to get the installation files.  My downloads dell has been no help.

Any advice on where to find the installation files?

First of all, do not install Windows 8, if you want stability, install Windows 8.1 with update 1 directly, see here for instructions to make recovery media to date:

I don't know exactly what you meant when asking this question.
Mozilla is not a provider of e-mail and does not keep any of your messages. If so, you will need to check with your e-mail provider, assuming that you store messages on the server in the first place.
The most likely scenario is that your messages are all on your computer. So if you can't find the message you think you deleted anyway I would say that the chances are pretty slim to retrieve.

No, there is no procedure in one click for her...

    1. There is no way to upgrade from 32 to 64 bits. You will need to clean install 64-bit.
    2. Easy transfer requires a computer to work at each end, not a computer attached to an external drive, because it is easy to transfer must be installed and running in the appropriate bit for each operating system version.

As you have two internal drives, it should not be hard to install 64-bit on what is currently the second disc, ensuring that you first disconnect the drive that contains the 32-bit operating system.

Subsequently, you can reconnect the 'old' data from drive and transfer of starting from one to the other, but just do NOT use Easy Transfer.

To finally get rid of 32 bits, you format the partition that contains...

    Not too difficult, huh...

  • I downloaded and installed and updated for Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. I have received a warning that a file is missing or damaged. What's past and how to fix my computer running again?

I have my computer set up to warn me about available updates.  I downloaded the update for Windows Vista Edition full and proceeded with the installation.  To restart my computer, I receive a message that a file is missing or damaged and reinstall drive does nothing.  I bought the computer from a colleague about 3 years ago and until recently just used it to play DVDs and music.   In July, my son set up a wireless network I can use internet on this computer and my main on a floor.  What happened and how do I get my second working computer?    File: ntoskrn1.exe, status: 0xc0000098.

    Hi everyone :)

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R, and 2 years since I got it and due to the excessive overuse, its performance has become extremely poor. The registry is riddled with problems, and I think it's time for a reboot.

I don't really know where the drive is, but I should be able to find it.

First of all, I have a lot of shows and movies. Somewhere around 1.5 to of them. I also have 120 GB of programs. It's clearly too heavy to download everything at once, so I don't want to lose.

With the program, can I transfer them to an external hard drive and then put everyone back in the program on my HARD drive wiped files and re - run the .exe file?

Would you recommend buying an SSD and the replacement of my current HARD drive with it?

Can I use the disk to reset everything on Windows without losing my files? This will fix the registry problem?

    Thank you

Original title: I think to restart my computer. Can someone please answer a few questions that I have about it?

    Hi everyone :)

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R, and 2 years since I got it and due to the excessive overuse, its performance has become extremely poor. The registry is riddled with problems, and I think it's time for a reboot.

I don't really know where the drive is, but I should be able to find it.

You cannot actually backup installed programs and bring them back, but you can save the actual installation files (.exe, configuration files) and use them to reinstall the programs. So it's a good idea to save them.

Would you recommend buying an SSD and the replacement of my current HARD drive with it?

Certainly if you can afford, its faster, makes your programs and Windows start faster.

Can I use the disk to reset everything on Windows without losing my files? This will fix the registry problem?

You can perform a custom installation that move your old installation in the folder Windows.old, where you can retrieve your personal files. I still recommend you back up your files separately but and restore them.

    http://www.notebooks.com/2009/10/07/using-Windows-easy-transfer-in-Windows-7/

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

    Reinstalling Windows 7.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

    or

    F8 when starting the unit

Select the option to repair your computer

  • How did you will have picked up a question when previewing the course

    Hello

Right now I have a few question slides that work as expected when you use the drive of Captivate or preview in a browser.   I realized not through an LMS at the moment. However, when I return to the question I answered, using the table of contents, I am unable to select answers or click on submit. The load screen and audio playback, but I can not choose an answer and click on submit. I put the property of quiz to allow attempts to infinity, but that he did not set.  Can anyone offer advice?  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello

You will need to understand how questionnaires are designed. There are attempts to Quiz level both on the issue. Attempts at the level of the question must be exhausted while remaining on the slide, with the exception of the remediation work flow where you can push the user in a content slide and back to the question slide. In other words, when you use normal back movement, the question will be blocked, because you left the slide and then the number of attempts at the level of the issue is sold out.

You also attempts to Quiz level. If you allow more then one, you must use the button on the slide to Score: it will erase all the answers and the user can restart a new attempt. All system variable quizzes are reset to zero.

  • Lost the disk, you will need to reinstall

    Hello

I am aware that I have to download CS5 trial versions, but as soon as I do I'll be able to use my serial number of the product I bought to activate it? No matter that they have already been used for my initial activation? Or I have to disable my software before reinstalling?

Also, I want to reinstall on Mavericks OS X at some point. This will be possible with CS5?

Your serial number from your purchase of CS5 will work to turn a trial into a fully active version.

You are allowed to have the software enabled on both machines, the restriction being that it can only be used on one of the machines at any time.  If you don't plan to use the software on the original machine, it is better to disable so that you have an activation available if you need it.

If vista came preinatalled your computer, it is rated an oem license as such is related to the material that it is initially installed on

If you have a retail license, you can upgrade your card motherboard and CPU

you will probably have to reinstall vista while the hard drive with the existing vista installation contains the drivers for the old motherboard and probably do not start correctly

I have a Macintosh, and I run windows at a decent speed in virtual box. I received my copy of my father, who bought it to run in a virtual machine on your mac. He had installed once and then deleted the disk image. This is the second time I used this product key on a virtual machine, 3rd overall time. All the old copies have been deleted. I want to be able to use my copy of windows 7, but it says my key is invalid, probably due to the installation of the previous system. How can I prove to Microsoft that this is my only copy of Windows 7 installed, so I can come back to use it for my windows applications. I can't call the customer service, because they charge $ 60 for a call without the PID, which I don't have.
