You can't do a restore point for the last week, today.
You can do a Restore Point for today, so that next week, if necessary, you can restore to today.
Think about it: How can you make a Point of restoration today something happened in the past.
You should have in the past, if space allowed in SR, to come back to today.

Windows 7 Home Premium OEM upgrade does not not after RAM upgraded FRO 1 GB to 4 GB
New installation Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OEM worked the 1st time on workstation Dell Precision 380 (Pentium 4, 3.0GH, 1 GB RAM, Windows XP), so I registered with Microsoft. PC worked too slowly, so I upgraded the RAM from 1 GB to 4 GB. PC will not start now. Nothing on the website of dell, or the PC manual led me to believe that there could be a problem.
After I had already performed several tests, PC manufacturer said to install Windows 7 AFTER upgrading the RAM. However, as the installation before the upgrade of RAM and joined already, can I now reinstall the OS without affecting the OEM license.
You can reinstall Windows OEM on the same computer. Case of failure of the online activation:
Call Microsoft use the manual phone Activation
If you have trouble activating Windows 7 you can call Microsoft to activate it by following these steps:
1. with the operation of Windows, click Start, then in the search box type: slui.exe 4
2. press enter on your keyboard
3. Select your country.
4. Select the telephone activation option, then dial the given number and hold for a real person. For more details: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/18715-activate-windows-7-phone.html
Note: If you always install Windows page enter your product key, do not enter your key and uncheck the "Automatically activate when online" then click OK/next to complete the installation.

I read some information about windows vista. Is Somethins I read several times: "while all editions of Windows Vista can support processors multi-hearts, only Windows Vista Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise can support dual processors."
So my processor AMD dual-core or a quad-core is not used or recognized by Vista home Premium 64-bit? What 32-bit?
As for Intel?
Thank you.
Think catch. The chip in the socket is called a physical processor.
Vista Home Basic and Premium can use a. Any number of cores is OK. Carrots
are called logical processors.
Vista Business, Enterprise and Ultimate can use two jacks. Number any of

I have a home edition of windows xp but slip listened to SP3, the installation when it asks for the product key, I enter my windows xp home edition original product key, but he says that this key is invalid, please check that you have not done it and try again
If your key is issued for SP3, then it is possible that slipstraming does not include the update to recognize th ew SP3 batch of authorized keys.
It is also possible that you used the wrong type of disc for the base of your wake - if the key is an OEM, you must use an OEM for installation and same disc, a disc of detail for a touch of detail.

Ultimate from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium or professional clean to install the new SSD
I put my turn to level. It came with Vista Ultimate. I bought an SSD that will become my c drive. I want to do a clean installation in each Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional 64 bit on this player. My drive/d has a backup of the Vista operating system. My drive is resumed. Do I have to buy a new copy of version single charge? If so, how will I know the source of what I buy sells an authentic copy or download? If not, what are the steps I need to take to upgrade? There is a number on the back of the workstation that would allow me to do it with the new drive installed? I don't want to have non-essential files on the SSD.
Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.
Full version (retail):
-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.
-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.
-Expensive
Upgrade version (detail):
-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.
-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.
-Expensive, but less expensive full version
OEM System Builder version:
The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:
-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft
-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on
-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard
-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system
There is nothing wrong to use it too, especially that all future versions of Windows will be full versions.

If you choose to buy the upgraded version:
However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.
15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.
So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.
Possible work around you can try:

I ordered the 7 Home Premium to Professional Upgrade when I ordered my new HP computer, I picked up today. (for which I paid $65,00)
It also suggested me the upgrade of Windows 8 when it comes out @ 15.00.
If I lose all the benefits of the first upgrade to install Windows 8, I want to go back to the first upgrade unopened.
They allow only a few days to do this.
Thanks for your helpThe base provided with your computer (Windows 7 Home Premium) license will already be a license of qualification. An Express (Windows 7 Home Premium to professional) upgrade may not be an eligible license because its an upgrade. To use the Windows Pro 8 upgrade, the base provided with the computer license will be it.
So, Yes, you could return the Anytime Upgrade If you wish.

"Show my windows and tabs from last time ' does not work in version 3.6.8
I select "show my windows and tabs from last time ' on the Options window - Panel general"when firefox starts", but it opens as my home page every time I start firefox.
I tried this on two different computers. Both of them have the same problem.
It worked fine in previous versions, but it does not work in version 3.6.8.
If you use delete, search and download Firefox browsing history in Firefox 3.5 and later versions to clear the 'browsing history' the closing of Firefox then in restaurant tabs in the last session ("Save and exit" or "show my windows and tabs from last time ') does not work.
