  If you own the CS6 Master Collection and no other product CS6, then this is the product, you must install.  No one else will not activate with your Master Collection serial number.  Through the Master CS6 Collection, you install the individual applications.  Dreamweaver should be included in this Collection.  You can see all the applications of the Master Collection on the next page: multimedia design software | Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection 6

• Why 6 Lightroom does not matter the keywords in the XMP from previous versions?

  In previous versions of LR from Lightroom (1, Lightroom 2 and, above all, Lightroom 3, 4 and 5 of Lightroom Lightroom) I made sure that my changes are written to the XMP file on and images.

  This allows me to receive a file froms someone else generally, or send one of my files to someone else and the changes, keywords, etc. will be in the DNG file.

  When you import an image (or a folder of images) a disk hard having keywords in the XMP of DNG file, these keywords are lost when importing to Lightroom 6.

  If I export as catalog from an earlier version, and then import into the catalog Lightroom 6, key words are there.

  But the point with XMP should be that changes and keywords are in the file and is not lost.

  So why not Lightroom 6 see and import them?

  I imported a file and supposed to apply any metadata during import (which contains only Copyright information).  This has actually imported stars, colours, changes, IPTC, keywords, EXIF as it should.

  Rely on the observation of mcucinat, the preset selected metadata to apply when importing is clearing the fields.  Make sure that you don't have a check mark next to one of the fields in the preset:

  

  

  A common mistake is to have the check mark on an empty field - which will Erase the field when you import the pic.

  I have the full CS4 program (Web Premium). What it would cost me to upgrade to a later version, for example the CS6 or same CC 2014?

  I do not use PS every day for a living, but it's a side of skills that I have developed as an additional string to my bow.

  There is no way to upgrade from versions CS4 to CS6. You can only upgrade to CS6 in CS5.

  As an owner of CS4, you are entitled to a discount (12 months only) off the coast of your first year of membership cloud.

• Upgrading from older versions

  A colleague and I just got a new PC. They came with Microsoft Office 2003 preinstalled. Previously we used Robohelp 2002 with MS Office 97. When I tried to install RH2002 on our new PC he failed because the new MS Office was incompatible. So, we bought upgrades to RH6. When I tried to install upgrades fails because we do not have a previous version of RoboHelp installed. The installation program asks a series/key for RH X 5 number, which we don't have. I talked to Adobe technical support who said I had to talk to Customer Support, who said I should speak to Technical Support...
  For the moment I can not install my old HR because of MS Office 2003, I can't switch to RH6 I need MS Office 2003 Help. Someone at - he ecountered a similar problem in the past? What it Adobe offer as a solution?

• Update 2015.3 is designed to open and use projects from previous versions?

  There is much talk in this forum on the problems of opening and editing of projects created in previous versions. Many personal responses I recommend starting new projects and do not continue with the older.

  Publishers and producers professional re-edit, to update and extract of old projects all the time. Is there final guidance on what projects/features or versions can be reused?

  Hi Bruce,.

  It's giving me advice. You should be able to update any project and it works in many cases, it is simply not advisable on complex projects. For me, it's one with a lot of sequences that contain a lot of cuts, titles and effects. One with many multi camera sequences too. After that compositions Effects connected through dynamic links, media card based instead of footage of codec, etc., intermediate are examples.

  With a backup of the project, such as an automatic backup, you can certainly try it. You can always revert to a previous version to continue working.

  I am a professional editor who happens to work now at Adobe. Personally, I have avoided all projects in all software updates unless I had to. In doing so, I always did so with a backup.

  In general, only update of existing projects after simplify as much as possible and only when you actually need.

  Hi all.  I agree with the creative cloud but I have still several previous versions of Adobe and applications files on my MAC that I don't know what / has to do with.  Three thoughts come to mind: 1) I think that some older files can still be useful even if I now use the CC apps (with the exception of Encore CS6), 2) I wonder if some files may be necessary for CC apps "still work properly", and 3) I don't know there must be files/applications that are simply too much space on my disk to the operating system (OS) that I can remove.  Here's what I think I do: 1) is a 'global' plan to clean my hardware necessary or unwanted OS disk and 2) to determine the specific measures to be taken for each CC application that I use.  I work mainly with first Pro CC, CC of Photoshop, after effects CC and Encore CS6.  If I knew what I was looking at and what he does, then I think that I could come up with a plan to keep all the 'good' things all too clean my OS drive.  That being said, I enclose below a few pictures of my computer specs, some of Adobe products on my OS and some notes to go with the pictures.  Anyone has any idea where I should start, please?  Thanks to all those who provide their thoughts.

  If you use is no longer, it is safe to remove them.

  All versions of Adobe apps are independent and can work even when previous versions are deleted. That said, the new versions work correctly without their previous versions.

  NOTE: Keeping of Premiere Pro CS6 installed for Encore CS6 works correctly (to avoid licensing issues)

  Yes, you're right. You will gain disk space to uninstall previous versions

  Identifying the specific measures to be taken for each CC application that I use.  I work mainly with first Pro CC, CC of Photoshop, after effects CC and Encore CS6.  If I knew what I was looking at and what he does, then I think that I could come up with a plan to keep all the 'good' things all as cleaning my OSdrive.

  First, check all your project files created using previous versions of Adobe applications. Then use the Adobe CC cleaning tool to remove all previous versions: Adobe Creative cloud cleaning tool

  

  Do not move all the folders between old - new versions. Using the CC cleanup tool will remove apps with their respective folders, if you do not have to worry about them.

  NOTE: be sure to check with the manufacturer of plugin for 3rd party plugins

  

  You don't have to move all the files to your versions prior to the CC version. [Check with manufacturers of plugin if you have installed the plug-ins]  And uninstalling previous versions will not have a negative impact on the CC versions.

  I am now Captivate 6 new behaviors in editing and output.

  Very heavy and boring.

  You recogniye this behavior?

  Is there anything I can do to recover the good behavior of previous versions?

  What I do:

  1. Publish the project
  2. Filled with edition confirmed with dialogue, without the ability to display in the browser directly like in previous versions

  

  3. now, I need to navigate to the folder publishing where I find a ZIP file

  

  4. unzip the files in the folder

  5. click on the html file

  Check your settings in the dialog box post.

  In particular, check to see if your output Options checked Zip files.  Because the error message also talked about the impossibility to acquire the LMS API, this would indicate that you currently LMS Reporting turned on.  If you just publish locally at the moment, you can disable this Quiz preferences > Reporting.

• ERROR CODE 604, will not import images after the recent upgrade from trial version free of subscription.

  HI, I'm getting an error code 604 when I try to import images, it comes up with the following message, some import operations were not made, the following files were not imported because they could be read... items 1-100 etc.

  I import the raw files from my card, it's no different than when I imported on the free trial version, but now I've updated it wont let me import, everything else seems to work very well with the catalogue, export etc.  Please help me as soon as possible, if someone had this problem?

  Hi thank you 99jon, you're perfectly right, it's to do with permissions and thanks for putting me on the right track to fix, the destination had for some strange reason changed during the upgrade, so raw files went to a file on the hard drive which has permissions rather than the images where he used to go (until the upgrade).  If anyone has this error code 604, please look to see where the images are current, is not always easy to say right away, I saw he entered the hard drive and initially assumed that it would go into pictures where it is before the upgrade, it would be useful that adobe has this error code with an explanation of what this means on their list of troubleshooting , but could not find any information anywhere.  It caused me a lot of delays with hundreds of images that I work on different maturities, but thank God its fixed, very happy

  Related to the guest in an email reminding me that the trial was going to expire, therefore does not check for Mac version because it was linked to my account and I figured I would just be upgrade with the already installed trail version.  Now I had with the purchase of serial number does not work, probably because it is for a version of Windows.  Any thoughts on how to proceed?  Chat Customer Service does not...

  Hello

  I have 3 esx (esx a, b esx esx esx 3.01 c) in a cluster to say Cluster 1 and 2 (esx d and e esx) tell of 3.02 in another cluster, cluster 2. The VC is 2.0.

  Is it possible for me to first switch the VC to 2.5 and go then the esx say 2 weeks later and will be the last VC to manage the existingesx 3.01 and 3.02?

  If I want to perform an inplace upgrade. Am I right to say that I have A ESX ESX B and C ESX vmotion, then stop ESX A. Discconct ESX in SAN, then boot from the CD and it will be automatically upgraded to the new version? This is the way recommended and upgrade?

  If I'm going to maintenance mode, a little curious how can the CD ESX 3.5 can be configured to be bootable fo the upgrade?

  Finally, I have about 80 VM and how do I set the VM in a faster way instead of connection in to each virtual a computer upgrade tools.

  Thanks Troy, really nice tool, it can even improve Linux VM, but does not restart such the VM (and tools do not start, so manual intervention is necessary, tested on Fedora8 & novel OES2 Suse)

  How to go from the trial version of CS6 to version full?

  I have an activation code of my University, which means that I don't have to 'buy' the product.

  My 30 day trial has expired, but I want to upgrade to the full version with my serial code.

  Help--> Activate in any App. Adobe assuming that the serial number is correct, just that turns the lights on the Christmas tree...

  CS4 is a complete new installation and not touch your CS3 that you can leave installed and continue to use with old files if you choose. I have versions all the way back to ID 2.0 installed. Or you will have problems with Photoshop CS2.

  The only application for which this isn't the case, as far as I know (but I'm not running the video stuff) is an Acrobat. New acrtobat installers will remove older versions, and you shouldn't try to run multiple versions of Acrobat (although many people install several versions of reader) on the same computer because the Setup program replaces some of the libraries.

  Two points:

  1 Media Center Edition is essentially already THAT XP Professional, with additional features of Mdedia Center, would not really so any kind of upgrade.

  2. the * worst * time to do an upgrade is when you run into problems. One such update is more likely to exacerbate a problem that in order to solve one.
