  You must have at least PSE13 (PSE14 is now at 9.4)

  I tried, but I usually download all of my wagers to update, patches, etc. to a flash drive and install from there.

  Kind of a place to keep them if my HARD drive goes off the rails.

  Reading your response I had a brainstorm, he left in the downloads folder and installed from there. Kept a copy on the flash.

  I recently bought a Nikon D7100.  The site Web of Adobe said I need Camera Raw version 7.4 to open my RAW images.  I have Photoshop CS5 version which will be only be updated Camera Raw in version 6.6.  Is it possible that I can update to Camera Raw version 7.4 with my version of Photoshop CS5?  If not, what version of Photoshop should I go to in order to get the Camera Raw 7.4, CS6?

• How to upgrade my Camera Raw Plugin in CS6?

  What said you that the messege is Lightroom 2.7 use equivalent to ACR 5.7 and the latest version of the ACR for PS CS3 plugin is 4.6. It is not possible to ACR 5.7 in CS3. If you choose open anyway then all changes in LR cannot be applied.

  Probably the best option would be to choose "Returned using Lighteroom", it will send a tiff/psd file to PS and by pass ACR, but will any of your adjustments in LR. There is nothing that ACR 4.6 can do that cannot be done in LR 2.7.

  Camera Raw 9.4 is required for full compatibility with Lightroom 6.4. However, Photoshop CS6 can use up to Camera Raw 9.1. That's why you receive the message. Choose the option to open a copy with Lightroom adjustments and then check the option to no longer display this message. From this point, a copy will be generated whenever you call Photoshop.

  Your elements version is too old.  You have the Camera Raw plugin version 9.0 or newer to open raw files D7200; However, PSE12 can only be updated at CR 8.5.

  Choices are upgrade to PSE14 or use the free DNG Converter 9.0 or newer to create your naves DNG and the DNG is open in old software.  The DNGC can be found here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

  I downloaded the file DNGConverter_9_1_1 from the Adobe website. (He included Camera Raw right?)
