  Hi all

  I have a few question about Hyperion interactive reporting.

  We use the version of the 9.1 IR application in Windows 2003 server and we will migrate the server to Windows 2008. I guess that the IR 9 is not supported in Windows 2008. So, we planned to upgrade the IR to V11. But it seems that IR V11 will be not available after April 30. Reference thread - version the most recent creation of Hyperion interactive reports. (After April 30 THIS year, assuming that Oracle follows political standard, all interactive reporting download files will be removed from all the web sites of Oracle)

  I am confused about what I have to install in the new server. Please could you suggest your ideas.

  I'm not sure that you get the right information from the employee of Oracle on the other thread.

  First support for 11.1.2.x has been extended (in September 2013) lance at April 2018, instead of ending in 2015.  Nothing in the Interactive Reporting statement of direction (from June 2014) is in contradiction with this; in fact, it is said that support IR is linked to the 11.1.2.x Hyperion code base. And IR is still available for download, rather than have disappeared in April.

  Extract all the files in a single folder and trying to install.
  The Interactive Reporting tab is not enabled, and the message below is displayed when I click on that.

  I am working currently on HYPERION Interactive Reporting (Workspace verion = 9.2.1.0.0.637) and this is the problem that I encounter on the portal.

  Please note that the features used to work well until las week.

  I tried to solve this problem with my team of system for more than 10 days, but so far without success.

  I hope someone in this forum can help me.

  When I try to start a task manually in " " "Tools/calendar/manage events ', nothing's going on at the scheduled time. .

  You can get successfully using studio 121 to 123, but it cannot be recommended.

  But backward compatibility should be possible or supported either 123 Studios with 121 IR

  Trying to install interactive of the Enterprise Performance Management suite version Reporting 11.1.2.4.0, downloading programs Client of EMP and the EPM System Release file1 system installation, File2 and File3 File4 on this download Hyperion Foundation Services downloads page as well as part 7 and Oracle HTTP Server since this Oracle Hyperion Interactive Reporting downloads page. I extracted them all in the same folder and when I go to install the components of interactive reporting is grayed out and I get the following errors:

  EPMINS-01047: the Assembly biplus_core_services is missing. The Assembly is needed to install a selected component.

  Status: EPMINS-01016: impossible to install the selected component. Click help to see the possible reasons.

  I was wondering what I am missing in my downloads? What download includes the bi_plus_core_services Assembly?

  Part 4 should be biplus_core_services

• Menu actions of interactive reports no longer work after the upgrade to 5

  Hi everyone, I just upgraded to 5 Apex 4.2.6 everything went fine except for the interactive reports, the button actions have no effect in the upgraded applications, I have no idea why.  If I create a new page in an application upgrade with an interactive report, it's the same situation, but if a create a new application, the menu actions works in the new page.  Any idea? Thanks in advance.

  Patrick Merci many have responded, you have reason, it was a javascript problem caused by the jquery menu plugin.  I found your comment about it on the page of the plugin and install the new version solves the problem.

  There is a conflict between the modal calendar positioning and table headers.

  To fix it, please write the CSS in your body of the page:

  .js-stickyTableHeader {}

  z index: 1! important;

  }

  A bug filed for this issue and will be treated properly in 5.0.1.

• Interactive reports registered 4.2 upgrade

  We are modernizing our environments at Apex 3.2 4.2.
  Some of our applications have saved interactive reports.
  Is there something special I need to do, so don't lose us these?

  Hello Gus,

  If simply upgrade you an existing instance of APEX, your applications, IR and saved interactive reports will be automatically copied over in the APEX 4.2 schema/repository.
  If install you a new system of 4.2 and go on the road of import and export, in addition to the statement of Jitendra also define 'Export interactive report subscriptions' to Yes.

  I personally just would improve if possible, it is much easier. You can always step back to 3.2 as stated in the installation notes (or restore a backup).

  I installed Hyperion Foundation Services 11.1.1.1.0 and IR 11.1.1.1.0
  
  I'm trying to access IR through the workspace
  
  I could see the procedure as file-> new-> Document_ > document interactive report.
  
  Then, I chose a .oce file to establish the connection. but I'm not able to progress to the next window.
  
  After selecting the file .oce a new pop up is to filled. Then it closes automatically in a fraction of a second...
  
  I don't know what the problem is.

  Hi GATHATHARAN,

  I think that webclient is not installed on your machine. In fact it should settle automatically from the server. If this isn't the case, you can install it manually. In the location of your Hyperion C:\Hyperion\products\Foundation\workspace\InstallableApps\zeroadmin\component\Insight server, you must run the setupie.bat file and install it.

  If you want to install the webclient service in another computer, then copy the folder zeroadmin on the desired machine and you can install it.

  Once the installation is successful, you will be able to progress.

  Add the REGISTRATION_YEAR_ITEM to the IR Page elements to submit property. He will submit the current value in session state.

  Why bother with the page element at all? Why users can't create just an IR filter?

  For performance reasons, use bind variable notation when you reference values from session state in SQL queries.

  To create the ECAS, you first have to decide whether to use an ODBC connection or ike Client.Then Oracle create using the Interactive Studio Reporting of the OCÉ customer. Then check if the BQY works with this OCE connection.

  After that you need to publish (import) in the workspace. Also, in the workspace, you must make entries of data (DAS entries) that will allow to use the drivers to connect to the database of the ECO.

  Then, you must publish the BQY and associate it with the ECO.

• Yellow triangle warning icon in interactive report Apex 5.0 - what is - this?

  I have a very simple application with a few interactive reports. The application was developed in 4.2 Apex using the theme of productivity Applications. It has been upgraded to Apex 5.0 and I spent so that it uses the new universal theme. During the execution of the IR, the first column in the report contains an icon in the shape of a yellow triangle with an exclamation point inside, just the one in the middle of a frame surrounding the data in the report. I have no idea why this icon is there and assume it's some kind of warning icon. The report works very well and there is no message any indicating why the column with the icon is there. The Advisor gives no clue either so can someone tell me what it is and why it is there? Demand for production still works with the original theme 5.0 Apex and does not suffer from the same problem.
