The good news is that you can simply delete the "install Mac OS X" install app in the Applications folder on your Mac. Then you can open the Mac App Store when you're ready to update and restart the download from the tab updates or searching through the Mac App Store for El Capitan.   OS X automatically defrags files smaller than 20 MB in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files it little need to defragment the hard drive.

  Under no circumstances should you install operating MacPaw or ZeoBit software (CleanMyMac/CleanMyDrive or Mac Keeper, respectively.) You don't need special software to keep your computer.

  Troubleshooting Applications

  I recommend that you download a utility such as TinkerTool System, OnyX, Mavericks Cache Cleaneror hiding a Cocktail that you can use to delete the former newspapers and archives, cleaning, etc. Corrupted cache, logs or temporary files can slow down the application or OS X crashes and panics of the kernel.

  If you have leopard snow or leopard, then for similar repairs install Applejackfreeware utility.  If you do not start in OS X, you can boot into single-user mode , where you can run Applejack to make a set of routines for repair and maintenance of the command line.  Note that it takes 1.5 AppleJack for Leopard.   2. a request for Time Machine, located in the Applications folder. It's

  used to manage backups and restore backups. Time Machine

  requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the

  drive being backed up.

  You can also get an external drive at least equal to the size hard disk internal and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the disk utility's restore option. You can also create and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (the order is not significant):

  6. Tri-Backup

  Additional tips

  Make sure you have a sufficient amount of RAM installed for the number of applications you run simultaneously. Make sure to leave a minimum of 10% of the capacity of the hard disk as free space.

  Add more RAM. If your computer less than 2 GB of RAM and you use OS X Leopard or later, then you can do it with more RAM. Snow Leopard and Lion works much better with 4 GB of RAM that is their system. Most concurrent applications, that you tend to use the more RAM you should have.

  Windows 7 Enterprise is a volume license customer, it is not eligible for the free upgrade offer. If you have Windows 7 Enterprise through your employer, contact the network administrator or your Help Desk Support staff for more information on the upgrade to Windows 10 company.

  I have a droplet which stretches from digimarc on my images.  Its working well for the past 2 years.  However the most recent upgrade to LR2015CC and PS2015CC its broken.  I did go back and manually install the digimarc plug-in (because it is no longer installed by default) in PS 2015 CC.  The drop works well when it is run within PS2015 CC however when I try to run it as part of "Post-processing, after export" in CC LR2015 I now get an error message "droplets could not communicate with Photoshop.  It worked in the latest versions of LR and Psalm

  Anyone have this same problem?   It is a technique of very popular workflow for those of us who use digimarc.  I wonder if anyone else has encountered this and has a fix.

  Work around is to install the OLD PS CC2014 and restart the computer.  Then it magically connects to CC2015 PS without errors.

  Have you followed the link I posted? The manual makes it clear that disks of the console must be on a local drive or on a SAN LUN that is exclusively used by this particular ESX host (by masking and zoning). If the logic unit number used to store the console in the SAN should not be visible to other ESX hosts.
