upgrade processor Acer Aspire 5810 t

Hello

Is it possible to upgrade the processor on the Acer Aspire 5810 t?

I am currently operating on a system Windows 8.  I think that the cpu slows down the pc.  Maybe I should consider upgrading with memory?

Thanks for the replies.

If you have Pentium SU2700, you can't because it is welded at the Mo. How is the CPU slows down the PC, it is pemanently on the use of 100%?

  • Upgrade memory Acer Aspire 5552

    Hello

I just upgraded to 4 GB of RAM 8 GB on my Aspire 5552. But when I display the properties of the system that it has detected 8.00 GB of RAM, but only 3.74 GB is used. How can I activate the rest of the extra memory I added?

    The RAM I installed is accompanied by 8 GB of PC3 - 12800 DDR3 - 1600 RAM, consisting of 2 x 4 GB SODIMM laptop computer Ramaxel.
The RAM in BIOS is showing only 8192 MB total memory with 256 MB of video memory.

Acer Tech support advised the following:

    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search programs and files, and then click msconfig in the list programs.

    2. in the System Configuration window, click Advanced on the start tab.

3 clear the maximum memory check box, and then click OK.

    4 restart the computer.

When I checked msconfig memory Maximum option was already unchecked. I tried to check (this is the value of 8192) and reboot, but no change then I unchecked and restarted again, but still only 3.74 GB are available.

Acer technical support are now run out of ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I found the answer...

"" in the start menu > msconfig > boot > advanced > make sure number of cores is 2 you have a dual core processor ' "

I don't know if it was a simple thing that it was assumed that I already knew that, but I didn't and now I do, and I 7.74 GB of memory can be used.

    Thanks for all the help.

  • Upgrade of Acer Aspire 5738 G CPU and RAM?

Hello! I want to spend the CPU and the RAM of the Aspire 5738 G. The Chipset is PM45. Common current C2D [email protected] and RAM CPU is 2x2gb Kingston DDR2 PC2-6400 to 400 MHz. I'm confused because some sources claim that he cannot be upgraded

but official intel PM45 docs say. I want to put the 8 GB of memory and if possible some cpu faster. Thanks in advance!

PS: I found an answer here on the RAM upgrade. It is said that it can be improved with two 4 GB DDR2 modules. But what is DDR3 and CPU?

    Hello

    I found your laptop specifications:

    LX. PEX0C.015 - ASPIRE AS5738G-664G50Mn

I also found other specifications on this one:

    1 - motherboard:

    MO. P5601.011BD OF THE HAND. TELL. PM45 WO / 3G (only DDR2)

    2 - memory:

  • Upgrade an acer aspire 5517...

I was planning to upgrade my aspire 5517 because it's too slow for me.

Upgrade from 2 GB to 4 GB would actually improve performance that much?

    If I upgrade the cpu can I put a tl-58 or tl - 64?

I was wondering if the 64 would be too much heat. I read that the idle temp guys was 55 c. (in my opinion, is a bit much)

    Thank you...

You could try a TL58 stalk or even higher, if you don't keep it crawls up to 100% for hours, you won't have to worry about the heat.

4G of RAM would be nice too, 2 G is marginal for Win7

An SSD would give you a boost real speed, try to replace the DVD with a HARD drive caddy and you have SSD + HDD, plenty of space and speed. You could have a 60 GB SSD and any HARD drive, you now have. Don't forget to check before that your DVD is SATA.

  • Acer Aspire One D255 - upgrade memory - I was told I could be upgraded to 2GB. A DDR3 4 GB will work?

Went to the store to pick up a 2 GB and they were all, but the sales guy gave me a 4 GB DDR3.  The Geeks were all busy, and I had no time to wait, so I brought home and decided to research.  I find nothing on a 4GB for this model.  No one knows if it will make a difference.  They are apparently the same size. Now, I have windows 10 on mine and have need of more memory.

The 4GB will not work and neither will DDR3.

  • I want to improve my Acer Aspire E5 - 571G - 57CS of 4 GB of RAM DDR3 L for a 8 GB of RAM. Is this possible?

And if the answer is Yes, then the warranty service would free it will affect my warranty? In addition, should what kind of RAM I look for if I want to upgrade? Aries will be added to the existing RAM and it will replace it?

I'm sorry for so many questions, my English and my ignorance when it comes to upgrading a laptop. And is all what I should know about upgrading RAM as it might damage the data on my disk, etc. ?

    Notes:

I still have the warranty and the stamp is still there.

    Data sheet:

    • Intel Core i5-5200U 2.20 GHz
    • NVIDIA GeForce dedicated 820 m with 2 GB of VRAM
    • HARD DRIVE 500 GB
    • 4GB DDR3 Memory (RAM) L
    • Windows 10 Pro (i think)

I know not if Acer will modernize under warranty, you must remove the motherboard to increase the RAM, the installation of CPU - Z to find out the exact your RAM specifications, then buy with timing and characteristics and to update yourself, if you are not sure to dismantle get performed by a technician on site, you can find the cost of this upgrade for your support of Acer local as they can do for one, compare prices with the quote from your local technician.

You will lose all the data from your hard drive because of the upgrade of RAM but I tell reflect you to back up the entire system on an external hard drive using Macrium or similar utility.

This is to show you how to upgrade and what is at stake:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmsFDi_qsnQ

This is just one example to show how to find the upgrade for your laptop and you don't need to buy Crucial memory, any brand works as long as they match the same characteristics as your current RAM.

  • Which applications and drivers get I need once I clean installed my Acer Aspire One 725 Windows 10?

I already upgraded my Acer Aspire One 0725-10 Windows.  However, it seems to be an incompatibility with some of my courses installed applications and drivers that several questions.  Microsoft support reviewed my concerns and concluded that a clean install of windows 10 would be the way to go.  Before doing this, it would be probably good get applications and drivers that will be needed after the installation.  If anyone can provide me with a list, it would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the drivers will be updated by windows update when connected to the web.

on the applications, I think that Acer launch Manager is required to use the Fn keys:

    http://global-download.Acer.com/GDFiles/application/LaunchManager/LaunchManager_Acer_8.00.8101_W81x6...

but... I read some discussions on the issues on windows 10 with Acer launch manager, worth a try to install.

to check if all the drivers are installed and work properly, after verifying that all updates are installed:

Key of the Windows logo + x
    Click on Device Manager

If the yellow exclamation point is present
    Double click on it
    Choose the tab "Details".
in the drop-down list, select HardwareIDs
Click the first value and paste here

  • Acer Aspire M3641-X223W - complete hardware specification

    Hi all

I bought the Acer Aspire M3641 X223W about 6 years (?) back. Now I want to use it for my homeserver (maybe upgrade some things). But I need the full in the specs of the depth of the material. I know general specifications (4 GB RAM, 640HDD, RADEON 3450, Intel Core 2 Duo E5200), but especially the depth in the mother card, I couldn't find. For example the manufacturer (if is not Acer), type / etc.

Is there an overview containing all the technical characteristics? I couldn't find it as simple online or on the Acer Web site.

    Thank you!

Not sure if your computer is the link below.

    http://www.crucial.com/USA/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Acer/Aspire-M3641

It's probably an Acer motherboard, but I don't really know if Acer has their own factory or if they outsource to someone like foxconn, etc...

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16813186140

Note: My links are just assumptions/examples and may not even be guess exact remote.

Edit: even though this card mother foxconn is similar to your motherboard, Acer probably has it custom... so not all ports/headers would be accurate.

  • Acer Aspire V3 - 574G memory larger than 8 GB update

I use my laptop for multitasking and sometimes heavy programming. Most of the time I use always completely to the top of my 8 GB of RAM. I tore down the laptop within the first hour of the purchase and I can only find 2 slots (1 free slot, 1 slot with an 8 GB stick).

I intend to pass this to 16 GB but I have my doubts since then:

    1. I tried to attach an extra 4 GB from another laptop (different freq, always DDR3). He started, CPU - Z can detect the extra RAM, but the system is not using it (always on the 8 GB).

-J' tried to use only the key of 4 GB and I think it is inconsistent, because the system does not start.

    2. I used pre-shaping memory Crucial level and there is a note that says "* should not exceed the memory manufacturer supported." All the options, it did not exceed 8GB.

Adding another 8 GB will work? If this is not the case, how can I bypass the 8 GB limit by using an easy way? (I don't mind modding BIOS).
